Bought a ticket and tried to cancel 3 hours later and it was impossible. They don't pick up the phone, don't adhere to regular policies and its extremely hard to contact them. Awful experience, don't use them, you will regret it. Any change will be painful.

It was the biggest mistake for reserving tickets with budgetair.com -- There is no customer service and when you send an email, all what you get an auto reply with the same email over and over. No solution, no addressing customer concerns, nothing,... Budgetair.com should be abandoned from Canada
Let us vote and send our concerns to Federal government to abandon their business from Canada.

Very bad experience with budgetair. My flight was cancelled, I got to know from the airlines. Budgetair not replying on phone and very delayed reply on website. Came back with a message asking me not to contact them and they will try to refund the money from the airlines. They disregarded my request to find an alternative flight. Highly recommend not to book through them.

Booked, paid, received an email a day later to say the fare changed and it's been cancelled.
No further communication from them.
No way to talk to them, only email.
They should receive a medal for incompetence.

Any savings on flights maybe offset by lack of customer care and the potential to lose your money and not get the service you paid for. Lastminute.com. Is far more reliable and offers compatible savings on flights.

My flight was cancelled by the airline. The next available flight was not suitable. I have contacted Budget Air four times in last 8 weeks. Everytime they have no record of my previous calls and will be in contact with me in the near future.

Do not use this service.

My mom booked a flight through this travel agency they changed the flight 100 times and told her to wait and she called every single day and they kept telling her to wait and that they would send her E-ticket but they never did anything. It left my mom stressed and two days before we were supposed to fly my mom calls again and they say that the flight is cancelled and they can't do anything. On top of that I'm going to miss my orientation for college and because of all the stress my mom has panic attacks. But I called British airways and they told me nothing is cancelled and everything is on and that the Budget Air company is the one to blame. Again do not buy tickets from this airline waste of time and energy.

I tried to cancel/modify the flight. Doesnot have a contact number or email. Not able to reach the agents to resolve the issue after multiple attempts from their online chat system. Sent an email and was suggested that chat is the best option to get assistance with booking.

TLDR; Rude, unprofessional, disrespectful. Their site crashed when booking and got charged twice. Needed a refund and then got yelled at by a BudgetAir supervisor.

I had booked budget air and when I submitted my credit card information, the website crashed and reported that there was no transaction in place (it said charged $0). I made another transaction and found out later that the transaction happened TWICE! I emailed them asking to refund the first transaction but to no avail. When calling, they said the email was not received and a refund would only be made if an email was made within 24 hours. Called BudgetAir multiple times and showed proof of the email being sent within a couple hours of the transaction and was dismissed by multiple employees and then spoke with a supervisor. Ended up with the supervisor yelling at me too! They're not professional or respectful at all!

I had flights cancelled due to COVID. The airline was quick to respond and indicated that they had to pay back to the agent. There is no way to contact Budget Air except for emails. All my emails get the standard COVID reply. More than four months later I am really not happy! Its a lot of money owed and I want to book flights again but first need a refund

Horrible experience

I can't believe this company scan be so unprofessional, I am waiting for my refund since march, I can't get my money, I didn't cancel my flight, they cancelled. All companies already did give vouchers or money back, this company just takes advantage of people.

This site is the world 3rd party flight booking service. We made 3 bookings, 1 outright failed because of seat selection, another doesnt even show up in my booking list and the last one went through without a problem. They have been holding $1300 for over 2 weeks and not issued my refund yet. No one answers their phones after being on hold for over 20 minutes. They also charge absolutely ridiculous fees when using your card. You have to have a very specific card which seems to change with every booking and if you dont have it, you have to pay a mere $80 extra. They are not a scam because it does work but be prepared for pathetic customer service and extremely poor booking services. I will never use them again, id rather pay slightly extra from any one of the thousands of other booking sites.

This company literally didn't tell us the flight was cancelled, we found out for ourselves the day before departure, then will not refund me or respond to any communications. They are deliberately uncontactable too.

Hilariously, when leaving a TrustPilot review they will answer within a few hours so they look like a real company, but never ever use them, they are the literal definition of thieves.

If you took someones money walking down the street and walked off you'd get in trouble, but no this company still trades and pretends to be a real company. Horrific.

Bad customer service. I asked my friend to book for my husband and he got the name wrong. We received an email from them saying booking confirmation wait for your ticket. They will process the e ticket so as soon as we checked the wrong name we emailed them so they wont issue the e ticket with wrong name. We did not get any reply. Unlike any other agency, they reply right away. Until we called the emergency number. They said they will fix it. They fix it by cancelling my booking and the refund will be in 4 weeks time. We lost the booking. Lost a cheaper option and Not enough money to book. We did not receive any single email from them apart from notification that booking has been cancelled. Despite of several email. No reply at all. They are not helpful.

Do not book through BudgetAir.com; just book with the airline direct. I booked a round trip ticket London to Toronto and paid for an extra package that would waive fees to permit changes. I then had a change in plan and had to fly to Madrid instead. On the phone, BudgetAir.com told me that no changes to the destination were permitted and that the extra package to permit changes did not include changes in destination and only included changes in day. They then told me to get permission from the airline to make the change.

I spoke to the airline and they provided verbal permission to change the ticket but stated that the travel agent had to connect with the airline directly. BudgetAir.com refused to get in touch with the airline for the waiver despite spending hours on the phone with both parties.

My issue is still not resolved and I will likely have to book an entirely new ticket.

Very bad experience - avoid this company.

I cancelled a flight that I accidentally booked twice, because BudgetAir's loading time when I booked the tickets was unloaded, I thought it didn't charge me so I booked it with another agency again. When I realised, I asked BudgetAir to cancel my flight, they agreed, but it's now been 4 months they still haven't given me the refund. I called numerous of times and now they have just told me that they did not send the request to the airline to have refund! Totally ridiculous I am now searching legal action against them.

This company is awful. I booked flights with them over 3 times now and every time they switch times and dates. This time was the worse, they said the airline canceled my flight 15 days before flying and I won't get my refund until 20 weeks from today. When their worker on the phone said 10 days! Such bull$#*! as I Reserved hotels and transfers and now I need to pay double for a flight. I will never book with budget air again, and you should stay away from these scammers. They say they are reputable but they aren't, this company is fraud & they won't even help you when situations like these happen. Such imbeciles work at this company. Never again!

Worst costumer service i have ever experienced. They don't care about you, your time or your money. I just ended up waiting for them to help me with a tiny change to my booking for a whole damn week after iv'e payed extra for their stupid premium package or whatever they call that, and now they just ignore me. Never received the answer to my request and probably won't get it and i can't do anything about it cause the airline i'm flying with cannot do changes to bookings made through Budget air. What kind of a business that respects itself will do this to his costumers?! I am so furious. Just don't book with them.

I bought tickets from these scammers for a flight in April 2020 which was cancelled due to covid. I have been trying to reach these thieves via email since the last 8 months. Their Australian contact number is not working. I have sent them over 25 emails asking about rebooking my flight as the airlines has allowed rebooking with existing credit. These thieves are neither responding to any emails nor planning to start the Australian helpline. Absolute scammers... will never ever book from them or any agent in future. Have learned it the hard way... Its always better to book directly with the airlines even if it costs a bit more.
