Fake agency- all fake -go somewhere else- dont waste your money here- lots of hidden charges- you cannot go out once you already book a flight
I wanted to purchase a ticket from Banglore to Auckland for 19/05/2022. Checked it through sky scanner. It showed a different price and when I actually reached the payment screen they charged me Rs 2399 more than what was mentioned there.
When contacted customer service they just got back saying prices are are dynamic and keep on changing. I had the screen shot of the original price and the actual higher invoice. Also, not to forget that their website says "ALL INCLUSIVE PRICE, NO EXTRAS". So basically these guys are running a scam and their complaint need to be raised with the regulatory authority.
The explanation keep on changing every time. First they said they have checked the longs and the price charged is correct.
Second they sent an email saying that there was a discount already applied for using master card, and since I used a Visa card, that was removed. It just does not make sense. Coz they never mentioned that the price includes a master card discount.
SO BASCIALLY IT IS ALL COMES TO ME AS AN EXCUSE.
They Lure the customers with cheaper prices and charge a higher amount once you book it. Also the price will only change on the last payment page and it will remain the same through out your process of filling the form. This is how they make money.
I don't recommend buying anything from these guys as due to any issue if you want to contact the later. Their customer service is just none existent.
DON'T RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSEL AND DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE.

Never ever go near them
Booked tickets for my parents for 15/08/2023 going to pakistan. Spoke to James paid ticket price. Got the confirmation of tickets.
Checked the online status of tickets on Qatar Airways today and it says (TICKET GOT CANCELLED)
Called budget Air to find out what happened. First couldn't get hold of any one foe 2 hours. Finally asif picked up and said will check and get back to u. Waited another hour no response. Called them back and after half an hour of continuous calling he picked up. And said the ticket prices went up for that flight and they cancelled the ticket. Without informing me.
Asif asked to call back in 1 hour to find out if they can do something.
1 hour gone, calling them continuously for 1 hour. Now they dnt answer my phone.
My parents visa expires on 15/08/2023. And I m left less helpless.
Asked them to transfer me to the manager and I dnt think they have a manager.
They didn't send any email telling me ticket got cancelled. Now the tickets gonna cost me over £2000. And no one is answering the phone.
Poor poor customer service. And its a scam. Dnt ever book tickets with them.

I had flights booked with budget air almost 6 weeks before my flight. 10 days before my flight, i thought i might manage my booking to see if could reserve my seats. To my horror i'd found my flight had changed without my consent. I wasn't contacted directly as i think i should have been for such a thing. My new flight was a complete inconvenience with a total flight duration of over 30 HOURS! With a stopover of over 9 HOURS!
After contacting budget air to complain about the flight i hadn't booked, i wanted to know what would proceed if i was to cancel my flight as i was not in any way at fault.
I was told i'd be contacted my management within 24 hrs. I wasn't. After 24 hrs i called back and was told i would be contacted by the end of the day. I wasn't. After 48 hours i was told i'd be contacted very soon. I wasn't. After 72 hours i called back as i was now less than a week from my flight and the issue had to be resolved immediately. Only then was i told i would have to pay a fine of $450 on my one way flight.
Do not trust them as they will lie to you until you get on that plane. Every time i called, i was placed in a phone queue for minimum 30 mins (once 1hr 12min).
They didn't troubleshoot or even try to help, in fact gave me attitude like i was a bother. WOW!
Scam trash, do not buy. Only purchase tickets directly through the airline. These people are not affiliated with any airline
I canceled my flight 18 months ago since then I've been trying to get my cash back and they aren't even replying to my mails.

Absolutely appalling customer service.
After noticing a typo in a name on the ticket I checked the website which states to phone if the flight was within 4 days. In the first call I was on hold for 32mins before I gave the customer service' rep my booking information. I advised her of the issue with the name on the ticket and She took the booking details and then stated the the computer was running slowly today. After waiting for 4 min without hearing anything I asked if she was still there and she stated yes, I'm here you need to wait'. After waiting another 4 mins I asked if she was there and did not receive a reply. I waited another 3 mins regularly saying hello' and are you there and didn't get a reply.
Hung up and called back immediately. On hold for 28 min before being connected. Again gave the booking details and was told to wait. I waited 6 min regularly saying hello' anyone there'. I stayed in the line this time as I could hear background noise including laughing (I'm glad they were having a great time at work while I waited and called out to them). Eventually the lady answered my calls and stated I needed to send an email to amend names.
I advised her that the website states I need to contact via phone as the flight was within 4 days. She stated that she was unable to do it and I needed to send an email.
The email was sent three hours ago and I am yet to receive a reply. What absolute rubbish customer service. I am a frequent traveler and rarely write negative reviews, however this company is the worst I have come across.
What an absolute waster of 1.5 hours of my life. Thanks for nothing.
What an absolute shambles this firm is! Nearly ruined our New York trip. A simple name change (Dave to David), that should have taken a few minutes once Budget Air had notified British Airways of the need to change nearly turned into a full cancellation and re-booking simply because their "procedures" took time. As it was, had they managed to initiate the change, they would have charged me over £100 for doing so (where is the justification there too?).
British Airways said there was no excuse for the delay in doing this and that they would make the change as soon as Budget Air requested it. They never did. We ended up turning up at the airport on the day, going to the British Airways desk and within 15 minutes and at no charge, the job was done. Thank you British Airways - great service.
Budget Air you have no idea the stress you cause your unfortunate victims just because you are greedy b******s who couldn't organise a p*** up in a brewery! 6 phone calls to your firm in one day, including 3 to your emergency telephone number, none of which were answered and all simply dropped out after 20 minutes on each occasion indicating the type of customer service you offer to your customers. I can honestly say that this has to have been one of the worst travel booking experiences I have ever had in my life. Needless to say, you won't be getting my business again nor anyone else's if they read this and have any sense.
You don't deserve to be in business and to be honest, you shouldn't be - hiding behind a Dutch company registration so you don't have to belong to a customer protection body such as ABTA, as you would if you were based in the UK. Rip-off. Stay clear. Never again!

A year ago they cancelled my flight (well Emirates did) and they still haven't requested a refund for me.
Purchased a ticket for my son that is in the Air Force to fly home on leave from Japan to Arkansas for $2622. Did not receive ticket until day before flight 3 weeks later. Flight was cancelled due to a typhoon. No communication had to call airport in Japan to find out anything. Flight was then rescheduled. Received an email the day before 2nd flight saying it was cancelled as well due to bad weather. So my son had to change his leave dates twice. Asked for another reschedule and the only thing we received was a message saying they refuse to reschedule and that my credit card would be refunded in 8 to 10 weeks. Had to come up with another 3 grand to buy a flight from a different company. They would not even give us a credit towards another flight. It's not been 3 months that I have been paying interest on my card. Everytime I attempt to communicate with them they try to place blame on other places and it ends up with well we are waiting for the airport to refund and when they do we will refund you. I even asked if they could call the airport and check the status since we are well past the 8-10 weeks. And they said there was no guaranty on time I said yes you guaranteed it would be 8 to 10 weeks. And why doesn't your company have insurance to refund your customers out of the money you collected from them. Also really strange that they said they had no way to contact the airlines to check the status of my refund. Like noone there has a phone. Just seems like a fraudulent company. I have spoken with a lawyer but was told it may not be worth it over $2622 with them being in another country and may or may not even be a legit place.
Where to start... If you are looking for a short answer, this company is full of crooks and i strongly urge you to book anywhere else. Long answer...
I booked a flight months in advance, and i had to make a change (plans change, obviously) when i booked my flight it said refunds are not possible, ok cool thats on me... But when trying to change my flight, i was put on hold several times (hung up on the first time) to be given what i assume can only be excuses from someone else because the girl i was speaking to had run out of them. I was told that they cannot make any changes and i would have to call the airline directly. Which i did and they have nothing to do with this transaction. I called back and told budget air this, and they said i also cant change it because it is a package deal for two separate airlines and they are working together for this package (complete bull$#*!- they are competitors). Then i was told that she has released an "osi" which is the ticket information so now westjet would be able to see this on their end and be able to make changes... i didnt buy it but what else could i say.
So. I call westjet once again and told them this new information. In which they did some digging and heres how it works:
The actual ticket is purchased by a company called "hahn air" in GERMANY... then they partner up with budget air to package these tickets they have purchased and sell for more. So budget air not only has total control, but has no issue with lying to customers and give them a huge run around.
Westjet has also put in a complaint because they are misrepresenting their company.
On top of all this, their emergency number is a number in the netherlands which you can find in tiny tiny writing at the bottom of the itinerary... so youll be wasting more money trying to figure this out.
Complete sketch way of running a business.
All in all i am out 300 CAD, not to big of a deal. I think the main thing that comes of this is awareness that this company is complete garbage and i hope no one has to deal with what i just did.
BUDGET AIR - if you ever stumble on this i have attached my reference number and would love to chat with whoever runs that circus you call a business
Why does it cost more than a new ticket to change a ticket?! Please advise as to why your employees will see it fit to put the phone down in my ear?
I was extremely happy with budgetair at first. I found a decent ticket, and when I tried to book it, it didn't go through, which was probably my fault cause I left my computer open to do other stuff, and was inactive too long. However, here is where the negative experience begins. My card was still charged, so immediately, I sent an email asking for that charge to be dropped, I made it specific about which charge i wanted dropped and the exact amount. The charge was pending, so I hoped they at budget air could remove it right away, and then the charge dropped on its own.
So, I booked another ticket using budget air. I assume the customer service agent who responded to my email was tired, because they then canceled my second flight, and refunded me for that flight, which was my actual flight. It was a different price than the charge that I actually asked to be dropped. So, at this point I lose my ticket, and my funds are locked for a week. So, I have no incentive to book again, at least not until my money comes back into my account. Then, through an annoying email correspondence with many different customer service agents, I was eventually told the reason they canceled my flight was not because (as the original agent said) I requested a refund, (even though in the email with the first agent that was what he said) but rather because the airline didn't have seats and they couldn't rebook me. I dont know about you, but it all sounds fishy and like they didn't want to accept their wrong doings and mistakes. They didn't try to make up for it in anyway, all they said was sorry for the inconvenience.
This is my first review here, and I just wanted to share my experience with you all. I hope this helps in your decision making.

Answer: Yes it is that bad. Stay away, you never know if your booking will go through or not. They charge ridiculous service fees so if you dont have the correct type of card (mastercard, visa, debit, credit etc), they will charge you upwards of $20 minimum to make your booking.
Answer: I know I am answering this too late but trying to cancel through Budgetair is a NO GO they do not answer the phone or emails it is a complete and utter scam. Always cancel with your airline first to be safe like I did... Since early February Budget Air has yet to answer the phone or return my emails, AVOID USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
