I needed to change a flight. BudgetAir were slow to respond and their first quote was for NZ$5,034! I asked them to check flights a few days later as El Al advised me of good prices on that day. Slow to respond again and then came back to me with a quote to change flight as; Airline change fee NZ$135 + Difference in Ticket Price NZ$55 and NILL Administration Fee. This would amount to NZ$190 but they specified NZ$290! - a little bit of creative accounting? Regardless, I told them to proceed without delay but once again they were slow to answer and when they did, it was to ask me to confirm that they should proceed! I again asked them to proceed according to their advice on Ticket Price change - how many times do you need to clearly make a request before the message gets through?! Another delay in their response in which they advised the price of the fare had increased then had the audacity to sign off with "... Have a great time..." and "... Kind regards...,... Customer Service..."! I don't know where the "... Customer Service..." kicks in. Well, 6 days later I'd had about enough to exhaust my patience and approached the local El Al Airlines Agent for assistance and received prompt courteous same-day service. They only charged me NZ$184 to change my flight. LESSON: ONLY DEAL WITH COMPETENT AGENTS. Paul A.

THE WORST EVER

THE WORST EVER - Save yourself the trouble and do not ever, under any circumstance, buy plane tickets with them. I unfortunately did. I bought a ticket to Singapore at quite a low price and the next day, the prices for tickets to Singapore went up considerably. To my utter shock, I received an email the next day from BudgetAir saying they cancelled my tickets and that it was due to my credit card "not going through". Extremely surprised, I contacted my credit card to see what the problem was. They told me there was no problem at all - in fact, BudgetAir did go through with the transaction but cancelled it subsequently. I called BudgetAir to understand what happened and to top off the already bad experience, the employee was a disagreeable, inconsiderate man who screamed at me on the phone and told me that he could do nothing to help. After trying to have a conversation with him and failing, I told him I'd have no choice but complain, to which he replied "oh, please go ahead and do so!" and hung up on me. My friend later told me she had a similar experience to mine - BudgetAir cancels tickets when the prices are low and they could sell them for higher a few hours later. NEVER AGAIN for me.

Do Not Use at any cost

DO NOT USE. I wish I could put less than 1 star. I bought a flight through Budget Air not realising how budget of a company they were. No way to speak to anyone except on live chat. I had to change by departure flight over a month before my due date and had to pay £200 fo do that which was fine. I waited for me new ticket to be issued but didn't receive it. I contacted them again to be told my outward flight had been cancelled but the new flight hadn't been booked for me like they should have done. I the had to pay another £400 and was assured I would receive my new ticket within 24hrs. Still nothing materialises. After 2 weeks of chasing daily still nothing even though every time I spoke to someone I was again assured I would receive within 24hrs. It was then 2 weeks till my flight so I had to rebook direct with the airline. I emailed budget to complain heard nothing from them till 24hrs before the flight was supposed to depart and they finally got round to issuing me my ticket even though that had been requested over a month and a half ago. They now say they can't refund me any of the money I paid. Total Joke of a company, they are basically there to try and scam as much money from you as possible. DO NOT USE.

Avoid … the worst
July 9, 2022

Made well over 20 calls to Budget Air in reference to my trip to Greece. Budget Air processed but never issued my return tickets from CPH to EWR, and the flight kept getting auto canceled by SAS due to not being properly ticketed. Customer service was so bad that at numerous points I was lied to about flight availability, attempted to force me into taking a totally different flight and even had an agent hang up on me when I demanded to speak to someone in charge of ticket issuing. To top things off, according to their own policy, they would inform me about booking on a new flight should any flights be canceled. And as things would be, my SAS flights home from Greece were canceled due to the pilot strike. Thankfully, SAS stepped up and got us on a Lufthansa flight for the same departure day. After emailing Budget Air about our flight cancellation on July 6, I still haven't heard from them …. Been home for two days already. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY …. EVER.

Once you buy ticket on budget airline your money is gone and you will never get your ticket. Budget air is fraud and criminals you cannot find them by phone or by email.

Despicable and dishonest

Refuse to refund cancelled flights. Airlines refund them; they simply pocket your money, refuse to respond to emails and don't answer phones. There is no way to contact them. Kiss your money goodbye

Bought ticket via budgetair.com website. I received an email that flight my got rescheduled and my flight is in 30 minutes. Gate get closed 45 minutes before departure for every international flight and i got 30 minutes before the departure. So i got info after gate is already closed. How come anyone on earth get onboard of that flight. Can anyone answer? So had to go to airlines counter and check in counter. Everyone advised to contact budget air since i purchase thru budgetair and airlines can nothing to do. So to get on board another flight i had to buy another ticket and get on board. Later on contacted budget air and they responded flight was cancelled and they will refund me within few weeks as soon as airlines make the refund. After one week i got email saying airlines refused to make any refund and for further query i shall contact to airlines directly. After numerous email budgetair responded its my fault and ticket was exchanged. In case of exchanged ticket there is no refund. I gave them the money receipt and every details but budgetair asking me to contact airlines as always. Can you imagine how harassing it is? Its completely scam and stay away from budgetair or any conglomerate of Travix International BV.

Unprofessional, misleading services and overall, A SCAM.
When purchasing a flight from Europe to Singapur, no conditions of the flight were clearly stated to me. Now that I want to change/cancel it, they are providing me with misleading information and not giving me any possible solution.
On the top of that, I contacted the airline and told me the conditions of my flight were totally different of what I was told from BUDGET AIR.

GOOD LUCK
NEVER AGAIN.

VisitingDue to some unfortunate reason, I had to book through Budget Air instead of just using the airlines website. For a start, the flight seemed reasonably cheaper but not by much. But once you factor in their "service charges" I ended up actually paying more. They booked me in without entering the necessary contact information in the Airlines systems. Which meant that I couldn't reserve any seats in advance because it required SMS verification.

I first tried to contact the airline, who instructed my travel agent, BudgetAir. I did that, and no matter how many times I tried to explain the situation to them, they refused to help and only offered the same "You should book your seats through the airline website" reply without even trying to understand the issue.

I ended up visiting a physical airline office to book my seats. Which defeats that whole purpose of online booking. The whole thing is very regrettable experience and I'm never booking through them again.

There are not enough words to describe how terrible this company is. Their customer service is atrocious. Their communication is awful. They straight up LIE to you. We booked through Budgetair and were put on West Jet flights. Flight went from 15 hrs to 55 hrs, West jet said yes of course we will refund you but Budget air has to call us. We received an email that said hey your flight schedule has changed and then the only available option on the email was to confirm the change THE EMAIL DID NOT SHOW THE NEW ITINERARY so we had to confirm in order to even see that? So they trapped us. Budget air said they did call and that the refund was declined (West Jets policy states that any flight changes THEY make over 1 hour in difference trumps the non refundable rule) so they lied to us. Second time, they said that West jet had to call them, or email them, or supply them with a waiver that confirmed this policy... like what?! West Jet said, no uhm they need to call us as THEY are your travel agents. So I said hey Budget air dude, do you think you could please call them again? Now that they have added all these notes on our file stating why our flight was changed (because they had to land 13 Max 8 planes which is no ones fault) and he said No. Neat, thanks for not even pretending you care about your customers.

BudgetAir.com is Worst & Unreliable! NEVER EVER do mistake to buy Air ticket with BudgetAir.com

This is very disappointing despite continuous follow up with 14 Reminder since 7th July 2020 (more than 2years and 5months passed away) cancelled booking BSA-******* intimation was received from BudgetAir.com but still they did not refund Ticket amount USD 505.40 with unjustified and illegal excuses as COVID-19 impact ended across the globe life return back to normal but not for the customers of BudgetAir.com excuse of Airline taking long time to refund keep lying, false promises and contradict statements.

Some time they asking to contact with airline for the refund but airline in return saying to contact where (the BudgetAir.com) buy the ticket to whom payment was made.

I request International Consumer Court/AITA/Trip Advisor/Sitejabbaer to black list the BudgetAir.com to protect the right of Customers/travelers

My wife got screwed by BudgetAir a month ago when Delta cancelled a leg of her flight. She tried to get BudgetAir to reschedule or rebook another flight, but they said that she needed to go through the airline that she was booked with. When she told them that Delta said that she needed to have BudgetAir take care of it because they can't do anything if the flight was booked through a third party, BudgetAir said that there was nothing they can do because their policy states that if the airline cancels then the customer has to rebook with the airline. How can there be a way that both the airline and BudgetAir has policies that cancel eachother out...well if there is a scam by BudgetAir of course. This was bad enough, but I had a flight to the states get cancelled as well, same issue and same ending...I will have to buy another flight. So, if you love to get scammed and thrive off of horrible customer service, then you should surely book with BudgetAir. You could also save money and grief and just skip being treated like garbage and use another company. If BudgetAir steps up and does the right thing I will edit my review, but I doubt that will happen.
