1) The website does not work properly: I am yet struggling to add/buy extra luggage, as functions do not work. I called them up they said to buy luggage directly from the airline site (which is fine), but the code they give you does not work on the airline's site. I told them this they cannot really help. The only way for me to buy luggage now is to call airlines directly, which will cost me a lot, as not the UK number.

2.) They also do lots of scam with offers like pay £50 extra and you can change your ticket dates or time for free. Not true, they will charge you for that, they just twist words to make it sounds like you could do that, but when it comes to the point of you actually wanting to change your date they will tell you why you cannot and will change you anyway.

Honestly, in 10 years of flying and buying from different resale sites, this is the worst experience ever.

Though as a said people on the phone are nice, this is the entire fault of the management and company itself.
Do not think they will last long with such an approach.

They take NO responsibility if flights change which is often the airlines but Budget Air will keep your money and blame it on the airlines. Do NOT book via these scam people. We are out $416.

The WORST!

Extremely unprofessional staff. The worst experience I had with them. Recently I bought a return ticket from them from KHI to CPH but unexpectedly my stay got increased one week and I have to changed my return ticket and pay them again for rescheduling the ticket but when I arrived at the airport after a very long travel and thought I am gonna take some rest for next couple of hours I got to know that the airline didn't have the record of my ticket and they denied my boarding. Ohhh
I would extremely request you all to please stay away from them.

Like so many other reviews Budget Air is WORTHLESS,, don't know why they are still in business,,, they will respond to your email about canceled flights and say it is out of their control, they are not able to send you a refund, etc etc,,, like everyone is saying……pay a little more and get a reliable service.

Do not book!

Worst experience of my life. Bought tickets back in March and noticed my last name was listed twice. I asked about it and they said as long as spelled correctly was valid. Then two weeks before my trip they asked me about wrong name? Email said to send a scan of my passport and if any corrections needed to be made would notify airlines and send me new ticket and NOTHING. I arrived at the airport thinking everything was good and GUESS what. I was denied boarding pass because my name did not match my passport. EVERY time I tried to call this company the call was dropped. EVERY time. I had to call emergency number listed in the Netherlands and was told I would have had to call 24 hours before. Except I emailed TWO weeks before and like I said they drop the calls. Please do not book with budget air. There is nothing worse than travelling for the first time out of the country alone to get to the airport and go through this. I made every attempt possible to make sure everything was correct. No refunds or compensation of any kind is being offered. They are nothing but a scam. Save yourself! And do not book with them.

I have a concern with my booking as it was falsely advertised that my baggage allowance would be that of the airline allowances, however, once I received confirmation this was not the case. I specifically chose this flight to have 2 checked bags included per ticket but my confirmation claims I only have 1. I contacted the airline and they said the flight I have booked includes 2 checked bags but Budget Air is not reflecting this. I have called and emailed as per Budget Air's request and have not had the matter solved nor have I received a response. The woman I spoke to, who changed her name on different days from Karen to Susan, was rude and kept interrupting when I spoke rather than listening to what I had to say, hence why I know it was the same person. I asked for a manager to call back within 24 hours which did not happen. I also requested a refund and again this has not happened. I have contacted them 6 times regarding this matter, and once I was even hung up on. The customer service does not exist with Budget Air. I just want the baggage allowance to reflect the airlines policy rather than having to pay a ridiculous $240 per bag or a full refund so I never have to deal with this company again. I would never recommend Budget Air to anyone or use again.

BEWARE OF FRAUD

I highly recommend staying away from this company. I experienced a devastating case of fraud (in short, they could not provide the services they sold me and didn't reimburse me. I had to cancel a trip and still pay for it). This was a horrible, degrading, and painfully expensive experience. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

If you have EXTRA money and want to flush it in the toilet, please consider using Budget AIR.com to book your travel tickets.

I have booked my fight through them. In total, there were 6 flights booked.

One of the flights got cancelled. I just asked to rebook me to a new flight.

Firstly, budgetair.com AGENTS only do CHAT, you can't talk to them over the phone. I am CHATTING to them for 3–4 days but no results. Today I Chatted with AISHWARYA S That was the CHAT name who just asked me to give them more $$$$ so that they can book another flight for me. I was telling AISHWARYA S that 5 flights are OKAY. Only one last flight needed to be changed. But THIS AISHWARYA S was telling lies one after another.
1. First lie — THAT you will get answer within 24 hours from Budgetair.com for your inquiry. When I informed AISHWARYA S that this was not the first time I was reaching out and there are many 24 hours passed and no email received. Then AISHWARYA S said that it will be 48 hours. At that time, I said that 48 hours is passed too. But no email received from Budgetair.com yet.

AISHWARYA S wanted me to give Budgetair.com more money. So that all of my 6 new flights can be booked again. I am so frustrated with Budgetair. Com that they are not trying to fix ONE flight which is cancelled by the airline, instead asking for more money to rebook the entire trip.

Please don't use BUDGETAIR.COM.

They don't care at all about blatantly stealing your money. 600 euro down the drain. They take 2 days to reply to emails and don't have a crm system to track communication. Complete joke

Not reliable agency

This agency is a not responsible company. Just they take care of money.
They made us huge loss and no compensation.
Even they didn't pay back us their commission after they cancelled our flight.

I contracted COVID and provided all requested medical documents as to why I could not make my flights. 10 months later and I still never received the full refund I was promised. BudgetAir advised they had forwarded my case to the airline, when I contacted the airline, I was advised that they had received no such documentation or update from BudgetAir.

BudgetAir has no intention to ever process the almost $1K USD refund I am owed despite policy advising that all positive COVID results would be provided with a full refund.

They close their contact number during busy periods, only offering an email address that provides generic responses. They will take your money but hold no accountability for when it comes to returning refunds, communicating with airlines or operating in a fair and ethical way. I know of other people who have also experienced this with BudgetAir.

Avoid booking with this company AT ALL COSTS.

From what I've been reading BudgetAir is managed by Travix International BV (in short, Travix) with company head quarters in Amsterdam, Holland. Travix was however acquired or taken over by Trip.com Group which is based in Shanghai, China at the beginning of this year. This therefore means that somebody new is now running the BudgetAir show and if we are now playing by Chinese rules then GOOD LUCK with getting a REFUND. I'm actually down by 18 Malaysia Airline tickets purchased from BudgetAir with no apparent way to contact them as of now, will book directly next time, no more third party agents. BTW, Trip.com Group also operates Skyscanner which is another third party agent selling plane tickets, so BUYER BEWARE. The above information can be verified via Wikipedia.

They misspelled one letter on the actual flight ticket when issuing it. My sister just missed her flight. Airline wanted Budgetair to make the change and Budgetair is not reachable. Their website doesnt work properly. NO HELP AT ALL SUCH A WASTE WE WILL HAVE TO BUY NEW TICKETS.

Fraud!

Never EVER use this website to book your flight! I booked a flight to Madrid through Budgetair and soon after, I received an Email in which they said the Airline provided them wrong seat information and they apparently were unsuccessful to rebook my tickets, so they refunded the amount immediatelly. This was TWO Weeks ago. I still don´t have my money back and they don´t answer my Emails and it´s impossible to get them to talk to you on the Phone. In the Email I already sent them the booking number, but as i said i never got a reply from them!

Appalling service
October 22, 2021

Because of covid and travel restrictions I needed to change my flight, again. Although the airline told me that it is possible to do so, the travel agent, Budget Air, does not want to solve my issue, saying that I need to do it through the airline. I contacted the airline again, several times as instruvted by Budget Air, and they told me once more that because I DID NOT purchase my tickets directly with them, the travel agent was responsible for solving my issue. But the travel agent tells me again and again that I am tje one who has to talk to the airline. Obviously, I bought my tickets through them, surley they are the ones who have to resolve the issue, not the airline. Awful service and customer service. The way they are trying to get out of it is morally unacceptable.

Budget air doesn't care about their users and costumers. They send me my boarding pass with the wrong name: "FirstName Mr LastName".

Security didn't let me thru and the airlines as usual don't care about people nor their customers so they told me I was on my own and they couldn't help me. I wasn't surprised... that's what airlines do usually.

I had to pay an airport staff with access to internal airport to print my boarding pass right. That very nice airport staff didn't even work for the airline and she wasn't expecting me to pay her.

Budget Air said they can't fix my boarding pass because they basically make money when their costumers loose their flights and the airline re-sells their seats. The worst part is that I had to pay for Budget Air's negligent and incompetent mistakes.

Never Use Budget Air
September 1, 2022

I purchased a ticket on Spirit Airline from them and cancelled it within 24 hours. According to US Department of transportation, such a cancellation should warrant a full refund. I contacted the airline a week after my cancellation and was informed it was informed the funds were released on the day of cancellation. Then I followed up with Budget Air. I could not find any working customer service phone lines. Eventually, I found an email address. My emails to them have been arduous to say the least. Each response has been generic, as though previous emails were neglected. I was told my case could be escalated but that also reached a dead end. One personnel said it will take 6 to 8 week another said 4 to 6 weeks. I also called their intermediary partners Travel Fusion who said they got the funds from Spirit Airlines and release to Budget Air. I sent all these correspondences to Budget Air and they keep insisting my refund is being processed. No clear concise timeline and it looks like I may have been scammed. Never use this agency is my advice.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This travel agent is one of the worst i have ever dealt with.
I booked a flight through them and cancelled it shortly after. As requested by Budget Air i sent a written confirmation that i wanted it cancelled and i would only lose a few hundred pounds. 2 days before the flight i get a check in notification from the airline - budget air had not even cancelled my booking at all.
Then when i call up and ask them what happened, they said no one had cancelled it now and if i still want to cancel it will cost me almost the whole fare - leaving me hundreds of pounds out of pocket.

I have complained many times to Budget Air and no one even responds or bothers to correct the problem.

WORST TRAVEL AGENT OUT THERE - AVOID!
