And they reply"Please be informed that the Airline cancellation and our administration fee will be for per person, as per person and per ticket means the same."
It is very un professionals and what worse, the staff always don't pick up the phone, and one staff(Indian accent)) hung up the phone when I was talking! It is a NEW zealand phone number and he said they are in India? Time waster and made me lost lots of money.
Avoid at all costs. When I was booking it clearly stated 20kg per passenger checked allowance. When I received my etickets, it only gave the children the 20kg, with adults no checked in allowance. Contacting the company was almost impossible. By email they refused to take any responsibility. They offered to cancel my flights but at a cost of $1200. To add insult to injury, the same ticket with the full allowance of checked in luggage was available direct from the airline for only $100 extra. I am now contacting my credit card company for a chargeback as I just don't know what to do anymore. Please save yourself, don't use them. They should be shut down, absolute rip off and disgraceful company.

It is just impossible to get throught to customer service including the emergency' phone number.
We had no issues with the airline, we got a good price paid and booked. Coming back from our holiday we took the wrong covid test and needed to redo a test, and rebook our flight. It took some time to get hold of them, but they changed our flight ( we did have to pay in as it was our fault, but still got a better price than the actual airline) i would use them again!
If you want to waste your time! Waiting for your pending money to get back to your account after the ticket got canceled? Go with this website Budget Air. I booked my flight for $ 1351, and after 5 hours got canceled for no reason. When I called them it said the flight got canceled by airline, I checked for the same flight was still online but for $1530. This is the last time I will book through this shu**** website,
1. I book tickets on their site;
2. I get an email with confirmation, e-ticket and booking reference.
3. Two days left, I try to check-in the flight -- it fails; (they provide a booking reference on the site, which I use to check-in);
4. I find this site with all the bad reviews; first thought: "I lost my money, and I must buy an even more expensive ticket somewhere else".
5. I call their customer service -- after 20 minutes of waiting, I don't get an answer.
6. I opened up my email (from step #2); There I find an "eticket" attachment in which there is an "Online checkin number";
7. Using the number found in step #6 I was able to check-in.

After I wrongly purchased a flight ticket for 504 EUR through budget air in Jun 2015, I tried to contact them several times but it is almost impossible to get them to reply the email or pick up the phone.
In May 2016 the airline decide to refund the money but is their policy to refund the money back to the source of fund in this case budgetair. The airline sent me the proof of transition and I contacted budgetair again.
They hardly reply my emails, they confirmed that they have received the money but need to recheck with the partner airline. It has been almost 2 months and they havent confirmed with the airline, also they are not to replying my email.
BugdetAir Changed my flight 2 times. The second time I was confused so just accepted it. Turns out it was for a return flight 3 days earlier whereas my bf would still be there. Tried to explain my case to the customer service hoping that they would have a bit of empathy. And I can't possibly be the only one with this problem. But they have no f***. Absolutely useless, robotically repetitive, unfriendly costumer service I ever experienced.
So basically if you want to pay for a flight and have it completely changed. This is the place to be.
So all the other companies were quoting £1150 for flights London to Atlanta and Budgetair were stood on their own quoting £850. Seemed too good to be true, but I was on a tight budget so I called Virgin Atlantic as the tickets were for their airline. They said it was probable as they had probably bought in bulk and were selling them off (this was a week before the flight). Make sure they are in ATOL he said, I checked and they weren't.
I decided to get myself some decent travel insurance and use my credit card, this however doesn't give you as much insurance as you may think but I took the chance. I held my breath and processed the order, it cost me £35 to pay my credit card but worth it. Within a couple of hours my e tickets had been emailed to me and my reservation was listed on the Virgin website. The only hiccup was that we couldn't choose our seats. All went well so thanks BudgetAir you saved me nearly £300.
Absolutely terrible. I bought a normal prized ticket - with clear arrival and departure from Belgium to India and back- via BudgetAir.
In a span of a week and a half, they have changed my ticket at least 5 times - it's almost daily. It's not safe for a female to travel to India without proper arrangements. I'm going for the first time, and I need a driver to pick me up when I arrive in India, and you keep changing my times. And, on the way back, instead of arriving at 10am in Brussels Airport, I arrive at 10:30pm - close to midnight, and then still have to catch a train out to Ghent. Absolutely unacceptable for single, female travellers. They need to be fair and careful.
I truly don't understand how this company thinks it is appropriate to allow their partner Aeroflot to keep changing my arrival and departure times!
If you don't have the ticket available, don't advertise it.

They finally refunded my money for the booking that they canceled - after weeks of waiting. And they said they will not refund booking fees!
I realized it is their strategy of earning money. They put offers out that they know in advance that they will not fulfill. Later they cancel and don't refund booking fees and you can't do anything about that. It is in their T&C. Nice business, isn't it? Why is this possible to have T&C that openly legitimize a fraud? I don't get it!
This company is a SCAM, most epic $#*!show. We had to book 3 tickets, booked thru them, got confirmation for all 3, later found that 2 tickets have been bumped cz the price wasn't available. NO HELP WAS GIVEN BY THIS WEBSITE, NOTHING AT ALL.

I spoke to an individual about my ticket that was canceled by the airline and yet won't refund me for the correct amount. The budget Airline individual was very rude and started profiling me and calling me Pakistani due to my last name and my travel. He threatened me with banned me from Qatar Airline, from Pakistan and so on. He even threatened me with sending cops to my house and stated my home address to where he'll be sending cops because I'm committing a crime by asking for refunds for the flight that was canceled by the Qatar Airlines. He stated I need to take that complaint to the airline and not them. I believe his 1st name is Benjamin.

Imagine taking 7 months to respond to multiple emails... budgetair told me they needed permission from the airline to refund. Said I had to show proof and id get the refund. I showed not only proof but gave a reference number they could contact the airline to open the file and see my refund was approved. They agreed eventually and said the fee is 35 GBP to refund. And I'd be getting back 366 gbp. And i I said sure refund. Finally 7 months later they respond to my ten emails following up and said you're refund is approved the fee to refund is 382 GBP and I'll be refunded 19 GBP. IM SORRRY WHAT? You just raised your fee 350 gbp over the 7 months you ignored my multiple emails? And yet I still haven't even received the 19...

I booked a flight using their services. Two days before my actual flight, BUDGETAIR changed my flight date without asking for my permission. Now, I am stuck with a ticket that conflicts with my schedule.
I reached out to both the airline and travel agency. The airline said the travel agency accepted the flight changes. The travel agency said that the airline changed my flight.
Do NOT book with BUDGETAIR.
Somebody used my credit card to purchase ticket, I notified the credit card company and Budjet Air US, they said that my reservation won't be cancelled until I make a payment of $100. The worst customer experience ever!

My flight was cancelled and as per airline they asked me to contact agency ( in my case it is buget airway) to file refund. But customer support guy asked me to contact the airline for refund.
These budget airway people are using covid as opportunity to make fraud on people refund money.

Answer: Yes it is that bad. Stay away, you never know if your booking will go through or not. They charge ridiculous service fees so if you dont have the correct type of card (mastercard, visa, debit, credit etc), they will charge you upwards of $20 minimum to make your booking.
Answer: I know I am answering this too late but trying to cancel through Budgetair is a NO GO they do not answer the phone or emails it is a complete and utter scam.
