I would have give negative star if i would have option for that. They are ridiculous. No customer service. No public number for call even if there is emergency. I used first time and i regret for it. I would strongly believe not to ever use this website.
My flights to Australia booked via BudgetAir were cancelled due to bad weather. I have called Budget Air 11 time to date and emailed them 3 times and have been told various things regarding replacement flights, none of them came to fruition. Indeed I was told by one operative to contact the carriers direct, find seats and come back to Budget Air with flight details which I duly did but even then they did not want to know.
Do not use budget Air, like practically everyone I have received very poor service over manyyears from Mobile phone companies and the like, however, this experience takes it to another level. If you have any problems at all with your flights then you can contact Budget Air all you like but in the end you WILL be left high and dry!

Worse customer service I ever had. I tried to add my infant to my ticket. I called and chat several times to them. They did not add my infant and always asked me to call the airline provider.
I called them and they created the itinerary number but they refused to add that to my ticket. Also they hung up phone on me. I don't know who come a service provider can do that.
Yes they are cheaper but not worth to buy tickets from them. I would not recommend anyone to do that.
SCAM
SCAM, they give you an option to cancel flight within 24 hours but when you call them, they pick up the phone in less than 1 min. BUT then they put you through to cancelation department which they put you on hold for 3 to 4 hours. They do this so you don't have no chance of solving the issue. Thats cheap technic to scamming people. So disappointed and very costly

Book the ticket with this rubbish budget air 8th of March 2020 after 1-week airline announced all the flight has been cancelled try to call the budget air for refund the phone line being not functional email them five or six time no reply back don't know what what going to happen with my refund which is nearly £2700 pay by credit card contact my credit card company never gonna use this rubbish company I have got no money to run my house borrowing money from the friend and family and these Corona crisis
I have been waiting for my refund from BudgetAir since Feb. 2020. I have gotten a template response each time I have contacted them that they are waiting to get the refund from the airline (AirCanada). After waiting a long time, they told me I can only get a travel voucher which I cannot use in my country. I am so disappointed, I have lost a lot of money because of this. They told me to contact the airline, when I contact the airline they tell me to go back to the agent. Frustrating!
Will not own up to any mistakes of theirs. Will not coordinate with the airline to investigate the issue. Onus will be passed back to the customer to seek information and details from the airline and feed it back to them on the mistake they've done. What kind of "agent/agency" does that?
No contact number but a chatbot and an email address. So if you're at the counter trying to check-in and need help to speak with them, you're on your own.
Booked a flight to save a few dollars. Then the airline said my flight was cancelled. I called them to see if I'd get a refund, and they said I need to follow up with budget Air. Called budget and they said no refund. Even though there is no flight.
Budget Air has the worst customer service. They always tell you that they will contact via email and they never going to contact you. Next time you contact them they will tell you enhanced prices.
Hey everyone, sharing my own experience here: I am having the worst experience with this company. I have been calling them for a week to try and change my wife's ticket. They are unable to make the change because apparently they don't have data for new flights, IT HAS BEEN A WEEK. On top of that, they keep disconnecting my calls and I have to wait for 30 minutes to get connected to a guy. When I asked if I can talk to a manager, the guy said "sorry we don't have a manager, we are all working from home" So now i am going to lose $1200. It was my mistake to use this agency. Please don't repeat the same mistake so they can go out of business and stop making so many folks like me miserable.
We found them through sky scanner and booked the flight. Due to an emergency we had to change the ticket. First they asked for $125 which we payed. Then they asked for another $96 For no apparent reason. They said they would honor the seats we picked and played $127 extra for but without informing us they didn't book our seats. Every time we would call they would say call two hours later. We'd call two hours later and they wouldn't have resolved it, call later. Call later. Now we lost the seat, lost the ability to book the seat ourself and lost the $127. And wasted days of our time. Beyond mad
It is the MOST annoying flight booking portal! I booked my flight from Wego and a pop up from AirBudget gave me little cheaper rates so I went ahead in booking my flight with them.
I got an acknowledgment stating that I would receive my e-ticket later but that never happened! My money was wasted.
I would request Wego to not show up such scammed sites!
If your flight gets canceled, they will drain your money without offering any assistance. That's based on my own experience.
Budget Air is a complete fraudulent scam. Don't ever use this company. They do not honor their agreements. They have a computer send automatic updates from people that I am pretty sure don't exist. You can't call them. No real person will ever engage with you in any type of meaningful conversation to find solutions to your problems. Budget Air has been running from me for the better part of three months now over canceled flights due to Covid that was completely out of my control. I was not offered a refund or a voucher but rather still left completely in the dark. Every copy paste email they sent said they were working on it and that I would receive restitution for flights not honored. Now they just don't email me back. To add insult to injury this crappy company is still sending me emails trying to get me to pay for more flights. They are completely out of touch and I am out 1400 dollars. Budget Air is wack. Steer clear!
I booked the ticket. Called them 10 times. Hold and hold. Somebody disconnects it. Emailed them. They saying again to cal and cal... called emirates directly so that they can atleast cancel the ticket. Later. Still waiting someone to reply me or attend call

Don't use BudgetAir. I travel quite a lot and this was the worst experience ever. I've booked with BudgetAir, the payment was done and I've received the e-mail for confirmation. They cancelled my travel and I didn't receive any type of advice (the costumer service told me that they did send an e-mail for cancelation but in fact I did not receive it, not even in spam). So here I am, everything booked for my travel and no plane!
When booking through agents, they will tell you the price may vary based on the exchange rate. But when BudgetAir invoice you, they specific indicate "The following products will be charged directly by the charging companies in the following currencies" (CAD in my case), with this statement, I assume if I pay with CAD Credit Card, there will be no exchange happen.
Assumption is not reliable. Apparently their charging companies don't always charge you in the currencies as they mentioned, exchange happened and you have to pay for extra amount. When I tried to reach out to their customer service, first they directed to Westjet, after that they told me is my bank's problem... At the end, customer service told me, that their website is based in the States, so there is currency exchange and you can hang up the phone now.
I am confused, BudgetAir, you said you will charge me in CAD, what's the point of giving false statement at the first place?
This Site are scammers. They do not know how to treat people and just use API to do bookings and milk people out of money. They policies to change fares and even though their faults wouldn't acknowledge and adjust the fees

Answer: Yes it is that bad. Stay away, you never know if your booking will go through or not. They charge ridiculous service fees so if you dont have the correct type of card (mastercard, visa, debit, credit etc), they will charge you upwards of $20 minimum to make your booking.
Answer: I know I am answering this too late but trying to cancel through Budgetair is a NO GO they do not answer the phone or emails it is a complete and utter scam. Always cancel with your airline first to be safe like I did... Since early February Budget Air has yet to answer the phone or return my emails, AVOID USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

Answer: I did. It wasn't the flight I chose. Cancellation is difficult or impossible. This company uses any number of delaying tactics to avoid giving you a refund.
