I ordered from Nordstrom for shipping to Australia on 27 February 2022. Currently, as at 15 March, the items have not left the US. There is no customer support until 21 working days have passed. Of course the event for which I ordered the products will be over by then. So, don't use border free. Instead invest in a post box service such as one offered by PayPal. Cheaper, more reliable and loads faster.

I orederd from border free October 3rd, sent the money and waited. I tried contacting them by email but no response. I decided to look at the reviews and I was disappointed and concerned with my order. I was going to accept my loss when I got an email saying my order has been delivered to my door on October 13 and when I got home the Mavado watch was in a protected package. Border free doesn't return emails but they do deliver, thank you for your service.

I ordered sunglasses from Saks Off Fifth from the US to Canada. Borderfree handled the shipment. I worried when I saw all of the bad reviews and my order hadn't moved past the processing stage in a week. I politely emailed them and no response. After sitting at 'item processed' for 7 business days, the shipment was handed over to DHL. It was on hold and approved by customs in a day and was on my doorstep the next day, which is amazing considering how far it travelled in that time (from Illinois to BC). I was worried at first but am satisfied that I received my order in perfect condition within the expected delivery time (granted, I did pay $55 for the best shipping option).

There is a website (borderfreeus.com). They introduced their self as a branch of borderfree.com. They made me to deliver their packages then after two weeks when it came to payment time they didn't answer my calls and emails. I know their office address and etc is fake, but I have their USA phone number. I need your advices where I can report this scam? Should I report it to my county police or somewhere else?

I use them bc I refuse to abuse Amazon workers, so, that means I have to wait maybe two weeks. But I always get my stuff and it's even sweeter for the wait, imo.

I ordered a Patagonia bag to be sent to Thailand from eBags. This was the first time using the Borderfree service. Initially, aside from the initial receipt of order by ebags there was no communication for about 6 days. Then I was notified that it was shipped to Borderfree. Once at at their facility I was given constant updates via DHL tracker. The bag arrived ahead of time by a couple of days. I would use the service again. Aside from the initial quiet time everything was processed smoothly...I will use them again.

All these negative reviews made me scared I wouldn't get my order, or that I'd have to deal with a bunch of nonsense. But, although the package sat in "Preparing Package" for 5 days, which didn't help my anxiety, Borderfree did move the package along to the international courier and my package arrived in 8 days. This is actually a pretty excellent shipping time from US to Canada. I'm happy.

I had a great experience with them. Items shipped in a reasonable time, shipping costs minimal, and an issue with the origin company missing an item was rectified quickly and politely. They even refunded the shipping cost for that error (they should have, but lets be honest, many companies wouldnt). I purchased about $150 in items and there were no crazy fees. Really I have no complaints and I think I experienced everything one could have experienced.

I was extremely concerned about my two orders with Borderfree after reading the mass negative reviews online, but to my surprise the experience with them was relatively painless. I ordered from Adrianna Papell and Dr. Martens and both packages arrived on their expected delivery dates fully intact with the correct items, and were delivered to a PO box with no hassle - something which is pretty rare shipping from the US to rural Australia.

I was not charged twice like many other reviewers and the payment did not go through my PayPal until the package was shipped, as they describe on their website. I did call their toll-free helpline to get an update on my packages as they had sat being "submitted" for a week, and the person who I spoke to was quite helpful and nice despite being from an overseas call centre.

Other things I would keep in mind when shopping with Borderfree:
- It takes them a ridiculously long time to answer emails, you're better off calling.
- The time your order sits being "submitted" is included in the shipping time, it doesn't push back your delivery date like I thought it might have.
- I placed an order several months ago which sat being "processed" for a week before being cancelled, which I believe is due to the item going out of stock before Borderfree alerted the company in question of my order. Be wary that your order isn't really confirmed until it is "submitted".
- Borderfree's returns policy is complete bull. Pay extra attention to what you're ordering beforehand because there is no way you will ever get your full amount back doing a return.

Overall I think the key to having a decent shopping experience with Borderfree is more just keeping a very close eye on your order, and if anything seems a little off giving them a call. However, if you have the opportunity to use a local or more reputable shipping company I would go with them instead - I feel like using Borderfree is taking a risk on your order and there's about a 50/50 chance things will go to hell, I just got lucky!

Shortly after placing my order through Target and discovering BorderFree, a company I have not ever heard, was going to be in charge of the contents and delivery, I decided to look them up. Initially I was shocked by all of the negative reviews and at the same time concerned with my purchase. However, as it was already too late for me to opt out from my order, I decided I'd just wait and see for myself. Fortunately my experience was quite the opposite the majority these people had as I had a positive experience with BorderFree. They surrendered my package across the American/Canadian border in which from there I knew I was in good hands.

When the package arrived I found it was packaged in a stiff and safe manner. The only downfall of BorderFree is that internationally they take quite a while to process and send out your order. Also, their tracking service and ETA's are off by many days. If you're upset that they denied your order, grow up, stop complaining, and read their Consumer Terms & Conditions of Use as everything is clearly stated right then and there as to what to expect when trusting them with your content(s).

Overall I had a positive experience. But like I did myself, read their conditions beforehand and give them a try and very likely you'll have an average experience.

Bought a large 3ft fairly heavy trunk from ebags.com via borderfree. Wondered if the free delivery offer would be honoured - from USA to Australia on a heavy item was approx $200 freight. But within 10 days I received the trunk via DHL couriers and there were no extra charges for duty or taxes and Yes got the delivery free! SUPER HAPPY!

I ordered 2 pairs of prana pants with 34" inseam. That option is really hard to find in europe. The price was good since it was on sale and the time was ok. I ordered with fast delivery service since it was only a euro extra and the delivery was fast. But the time from order to the product was actually shipped was more than a week. The handeling in customs was great, ordering from outside Europe can be a real hassle in Sweden.

I recently used Borderfree for the first time and I think it's important to note a few things about the service. It's operated as a brand of Pitney Bowes, which is a global leader in logistics. If you've ever made a purchase on ebay from a foreign seller using ebay's international forwarding service then you have already dealt with this company.

I was not double-charged as others here report. But to some people it may appear so. For some reason I don't understand, American companies often put a hold on funds for purchases at the time of purchase, and then deduct the actual funds at a later point in time. This is also how Borderfree appears to have handled my order. When I placed my order, they "reserved" the entire amount and then actually charged my card for each individual shipment. I was not double-charged, however and the initial hold never actually appeared on my card.

Tracking was acceptable, but I think the company could do a better job of explaining the process. As far as I can tell, your order is shipped to them, they ensure that everything is there and document it for customs, then forward it. Pricing is a little too high in my opinion, but it could be worse.

A few other things that could be improved:
- Borderfree purchasing page on Target is painfully basic and slow. Many items say available for shipping in search results but are not when you visit their their individual page. You can workaround this by putting them in your cart directly from the search list.
- Promotional codes do not work. Even the codes shown specifically for borderfree did not work for me.
- Price could be lower. I feel Borderfree is making a lot of money from this.

I'm not sure why there is so many bad reviews and I feel so bad for those who had an awful experience but I had quite the opposite! My package did not take too long to arrive, all the tracking updates were accurate and it arrived on the right day. I was super worried that I would be charged double or my package would never arrive because of the reviews, but I hope you all get a refund of some sort :)

Disclaimer: I'm a genuine customer who had one experience with Borderfree. It was alright.

I order a buncha stuff from Ulta and because Ulta does not ship to Canada directly, I chose broderfree. My order cost me CAD$122 (purchased over $100 and got free shipping). My order was placed on July 9th, 2017. This is my first time ordering anything from Ulta and using Borderfree, so I got a little bit suspicious about the company. I searched the reviews about Borderfree and THEY WERE ALL NEGATIVE. I was so worried that I wanted to cancel my order immediately. Now here's the part Borderfree could've improved, I did not find the way to cancel my order. I emailed them twice but couldn't wait until the reply. I called their customer care phone num and they did pick up pretty soon. The guy explained to me that Ulta has to ship to them first then they will ship to Canada. Typically, it takes about 5-8 days for Ulta to ship, then another 5-8 days for Borderfree to ship to Canada.

FINAL RESULTS: It took 8 days for Ulta to ship and my package arrived in Canada on the 18th of July. I got a notification from Canada Post that it was somewhere in Ontario. Now I'm finally feeling good about this shipment! It's the 22nd today and I received a notification that it arrived in B. C. yesterday, so I'll be looking forward to seeing my package on Monday!

MY THOUGHTS: Borderfree did their best to help with international orders, I mean they were a bit slow but not THAT slow. Overall it was nice, I just thought they deserve some positive reviews because I'm satisfied with the experience.

WILL I USE BORDERFREE AGAIN? Maybe, but I honestly wouldn't choose Borderfree if it wasn't my last choice.

I read this negative reviews after I ordered from Nordstorm. I was afraid that I couldn't receive the shipment but it finally delivered to me today, although it took over 2 weeks, but i understand this as the shipment has to be delivered to borderfree first and it tool time for customs clearance.

The package was not good but I am not sure if this was done by Nordstorm or borderfree.

I purchased from the Uk two dresses and returned one to exchange sizes. They then processed a refund for me this was back in August. Club Monaco claim the fund has been made to my original payment card but to date November 14th I have still not received my refund. Numerous e mails to Club Monaco customer assistance they have told me a Borderfree representative will call with 24hrs thats was 6 days ago. Totally frustrated and now and would not recommend purchasing from Borderfree.

Exactly same experience as previous reviewer from Australia. I ordered shoes from Ireland for my son which were expensive enough to start with. I had to return shoes as they did not fit and had to cover all duties, taxes for receipt of shoes and cover all return charges. I would have expected to pay for return charges but not the rest! I ended up with no shoes and the refund did not cover the oost of the shoes or any of the other expenses incurred. Lost out approx. 100 euros in the whole transaction and no shoes! Never again! Be warned!
