I've been with boost mobile since day one. Back when it was Nextel. Note all I asked for was a credit for having bad service An I told them I would have to go to a different carrier the supervisor encouraged me to find another carrier instead of giving me a $10.00 dollar credit because they have 3 towers down in my area down. An he said it could be down 2 more weeks or 6 more months. I would not recommend boost mobile there customer service is terrible the service is wobbly at best. Calls keep dropping text not going through. I looked into track phone service An it is solid service. People make your own decisions but I would take this review creditable An look before you buy. I have been on auto pay for years now when my month ends I will not renew with boost mobile. I hope this will help at least one person make the right decision.
Tried logging in with my phone number or email on new app and I keep getting the doesn't match our records pop-up, yet when I call the customer service number it's recognized there asking if this is the number I'm calling about. Customer service agents (5 so far) kept giving me the run around telling me "Rest assured you will be able to log in soon with the new improved app". WHEN? My wife has a Boost 4G and was able to login with no issues. Mine is a 5G and still isn't working with the app. I can make payments with an agent and keep my service active, just can't use the app to do so. C'mon Man.
I have consistently been a Boost customer for over 10 years now, I took the first phone with me to Iraq back when they had the government approved push to talk $40 phone. Didn't get to use much but that phone went through it all. Never an issue! Fast forward to now, I have the LG Stylus and only pay 30 dollars a month for unlimited text, calls internet, downloads and anything else I can find. With Sprint taking over I have seen no changes yet and I am hoping this doesn't turn into anything, maybe Sprint can learn how to keep customers from the Boost people.
They cannot port a number properly. They have no idea wha they are doing when it comes to transferring a number, even when it is their own device and their own SIM. Spent hours on the phone for nothing to be resolved. Will just switch carriers. Unreal. Customer support out of the US.
I have been a loyal customer to Boost Mobile for the past 14 years. I use to love Boost Mobile but now I have to pay / "RESTART" my phone bill every 3 days! ( I pay $60 every 3 days!) just to get basic speed internet service. It's ridiculous and if you do sign up for Boost Mobile you will get one of the two notices
Attached as pictures after 3 days of service! $60 should last a full month of unlimited everything at fast speed. I posted stating that you have to repay / restart your phone bill just to receive basic service. It is a rip-off. How do I run out of data after 1 day? I don't watch movies on my phone or do anything that could possibly use up my whole months worth of data! DO NOT sign up for Boost Mobile!
Lets start with customer service... that it has become very hard to understand anything they are saying for one... So my young son dropped his phone and cracked the screen you can't see anything on the screen so I called boost and they ask for a pin. I dont know the pin to my son's phone and neither does he because he never put a pin on the phone. They told me that they cant help me. So if you have a family plan with these guys make sure you get every Factory pin number that they have on your phone or you will doing what I'm going today switch phone service ASAP...
The coverage is very spotty especially for internet. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. They keep your phone locked for a whole year until it can be changed to different provider and that should be against the law.
Every time they advertise phones on sale the are out of stock conveniently. It's a scam. You have lost a good and loyal customer. I wouldn't even give 1 star but I. Order to rate boost I have no choice.
Emily gave such refreshing customer service to me at this store that I will return to purchase another phone! Thanks Emily! Brought a Samsung A21 and she was so helpful and pleasant that it made me believe in humanity in tough times once again thanks Emily you rock! H. H.
I have been a loyal customer for 15 years. The one time I needed boost to credit me. They refused. I begged them to leave my phone on reason being funeral inquiries about burying my son. Shame on Boost mobile. They are uncaring and unsympathetic to their customers. They Suck!
This is the worst phone service I've ever had, don't get it! I have unlimited data and it only works 1 week out of the month. Tech support is absolutely no help. Stick with straight talk or something else because this is ridiculous. Also will occasionally break contract and cut service off 6months before it should
Boost Mobile doesn't warranty what they sale. I have a 2 month old Motorola. It stays hot and will burn you. They gave me the number to motorola service that wanted me to send the phone back first. I'm so glad I don't have a contract with Boost Mobile. I've been a customer for 10 years. Good bye boost mobile.
My phone was lost and/or stolen. I reached customer service with ease. My problem was quite complicated as I needed a print out for the last 45 days of all my calls and texts. Red assured me that she would not get off the phone until I had a smile on my face and problem resolved. She xx exceeded her duties even offering to disconnect service from back on the 22nd when my phone disappeared. She got all my informatIon quickly and efficiently. The world would be much better off if there were more people like her in it!
I am with boost n i got my phone on sale. Beware different boost stores charge different prices n have different promotions. There is no such thing as unlimited with boost. I never have enough storage space. My lte service always goes out from time to time. They got so much $#*! like apps that come with the phone u dont need or want. They send me a message after two weeks of paying my bill to tell me i used all my data n it takes over 30min to hour to use phone because of it. Considering another move for phone carriers
I was a faithful customer to Virgin Mobile for 13 plus years. I love the no-contract deal. The service was great never had any major issues with them. My monthly bill was $35.00 a month. Virgin Mobile went out of business and switch everything to Boost April of 2019. Ever since the switch month after month, it has been a disaster. The same data plan I had with Virgin should have switched over to Boost. Every close to the end of the month I was running out of Data and because I purchased a new car in 20/20 with no cd player, I now have to stream for music so that forced me to upgrade to Unlimited data for Boost. It works maybe 35% of the time. And on Cloudy or rainy days forget it. I am now obligated to spend $55 a month not get to enjoy the service I'm paying for. This for sure is a terrible business absolutely no empathy for their customers. Especially in the middle of a crisis. They ought to be ashamed of themselves charging people for services that they are NOT getting.
Horrible customer service, if and when you can actually speak with them. It's like their routine was et up to deliberately waste your time and give up and just live with the issues or buy a new phone, it's a bit of a scam.
I bought 1 GB of extra data ever receive it the said I used it which I didn't. Boost steal people money plain and simple. Now all iPhone users don't have option you have to have the $40 plan. Customer service keep you waiting just to tell you they can't help. Then have a nerve to send surveys to see how service is. What a joke. And you can't get phone unlock to go to a new company until you had service for a year but they don't tell you that in the beginning.
I have been w boost 5 years. The customer service is horrible they do not care they will overcharge your credit card. They mistreat you on the phone. Most speak broken English and will mess your account up. I have choose to transfer all lines to Xfinity.
Had to get grandson new phone my insurance gharged me more than it was to buy the same phone which was a piece of crap screen went black second day he had of course had to call boost got no satisfaction from them i i got was what did you do to phone i and my son have been a faith full boost customer for years but in the last few years nothing but trouble so we switched to Cricket a lot nicer group of people to deal so that means boost lost 6 customers at one time i hope they are happy they
wont have to deal with us any longer i am sure glad that i dont have to deal with them and there nasty attitude
Boost used to be great but the last 2 months, and particularly in August, the service has been terrible. Boost actually blames the customer for their poor data service, because they don't want you to know that they are throttling your supposedly unlimited data down to 3G or worse. Some of your apps will not even work. It is time to go elsewhere. Bye, Boost!
Answer: I hope so. I want to join. Its not right how they steal money from hardworking people like me.
Answer: You can contact them, but do not bother, they all are trained to act like they know what they are doing but in reality they DO NOT CARE!
Answer: They are worthless. I would not ever recommend them. While their promotions are legit, their service quality sucks.
Answer: Need to change phone to another PHONE. My phone was stolen
Answer: Metro by Tmobile is definitely a step up from Boost. As with all cell phone companies in the store or on line make sure you check out reviews like You Tube before you purchase.
