My son has a Verizon government phone thru vortex, it wouldn't allow ANY calls, AND unfortunately there's no customer support number. My spouse and I share Verizon package, so I called Verizon and the rep was extremely helpful, got me a number! She was extremely friendly and as ALWAYS made me feel valued. So, THANK YOU! STILL best company out there!
I'm well aware of all the tactics this company deploys to exploit their customers...until today when I learned a new technique they use...by shutting off your phone while having a conversation. Truly fascinating they spend more time in the board room discussing draconian methods to profit from, than just being a trustworthy, honest company. What a deplorable company...

Verizon charged me for service I never ordered then sent me to collections. Before collections they told me multiple times the bill was an error and to disregard. Now this fraudulent account is showing up as a derogatory mark on my credit report and Verizon is refusing to talk to me about it. I am forced to either pay for this service I never authorized or take a hit on my credit. I feel bullied and robbed.
Tip for consumers:
No one at Verizon was willing to listen to me and help me. I tried disputing the charges multiple times and just received written correspondence that the charges are valid. No one would talk to me and explain what was going on and where the charges came from.

I called Verizon today regarding the status of my refund for the return of the phone. The refund was supposed to be $760.65. Not only was I on the phone for over 45 minutes but the person I spoke with lied to me saying he put my refund through and he would send me an email with the details, none of which was true. There was no email or refund. So not only does Verizon have the phone I returned but they took the refund too. This is illegal and totally unacceptable!
Tip for consumers:
I have spent over 6 hours trying to get back money that never should have been taken with no results.
I trade in my old device for 1,000 credit and the balance of the new device should be 200 dllrs more or less and when I checked my balance it shows over 800 dllrs and I verified my equipment was at Verizon. Apparently they will give you a credit of a 1,000 dllrs and the balance over 36 months contract that I didn't sign. If I want to pay off my device I'll be paying full amount plus losing credit of my trade in. This company makes business in a shady way. STAY AWAY FROM VERIZON
When it comes to typing out things I want to share about Verizon, there are actually no real negative thing I want to say. I could sit here and complain that every month my bill is too high. Or I could say the suggestive add-ons could be a little bit better. But instead, the one main concern I've always had and I've never see not one word about it is...
For a gigantic company like Verizon, I would think that there would be some kind of unlimited discount to their valuable customers. I'll use myself as an example...
1. I've been a loyal customer since 2006. That's almost 2 decades (18yrs). Way longer than any of my relationships, and just about half of my lifetime.
2. From starting off with a phone for myself and for my grandmother, I now have one phone for my oldest son, one phone for my youngest son, a phone and a tablet for my grandmother, and for me... I have an iPhone, iWatch, secondary phone (the line used to be used for my oldest sons tablet during COVID), and a new Orbic laptop/tablet.
3. I utilize the combos for streaming sites... Netflix, Paramount +, Disney+, Hulu, Max, Discovery+,
4. I always end up upgrading my devices instead of keeping it, and perchance leave to go to another service company.
It would be nice to get something back for being a customer soon 19 years. Oh, and sometimes the 5G doesn't work for... you know what I mean. Loads for browsers would be slow, or apps won't open.

I am stuck in the verizon monopoly. Have been in DSL land for the past 20 years. No upgrades offered. The worst internet I've ever had. The worst customer service. I just bought a wireless company and if that doesn't work out, I'll stop having internet at home, no sense in paying for a phone line I don't want and never having internet for $120 / month. Bleeping bleep the bleep off, Verizon!
First of all:
Bad customer service
No live agents and aiF you get a chance to talk to someone they charge you $10.00
Wifi and phone service are mediocre at BEST and this is in major US cities!
T-mobile bought all of verizon cell towers so thei service for Verizon is terrible now!
I am locked into a payment plan and they send me offers tgat are ONLY valid online but i cannot get online because the services are horrible!

After being told that it would cost $30 to setup a replacement phone by the store in Mankato, Mn, the technician in Sioux Falls, SD (Marion and 26th Street graciously helped with the process at no charge. Wonderful store and so helpful and friendly! Take note Mankato. Mankato store wasn't busy….just didn't want to do it!
Hours and mins of wasted time on the phone resolving nothing. Service has become worse in our area. I've been a customer for over 18 years and don't like change but time has come to say Good Bye!
Celeste was a great help with me today I was extremely frustrated and helped out a lot and I greatly appreciate it!
Do not go to Verizon! For no reason! Service is good customer service all of the supervisors are not never on same page. A complete runaround. I'm over it. I should had listened myself.
In April of 2023 we signed up with Verizon. Since then we've been charged double monthly, had our phones shut off while THEY OWE US MONEY, spent countless hours MONTHLY at the store where we signed up, and been stressed out of our minds. As of today- NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. Pics of line charges and No promised refund.
Tip for consumers:
It’s impossible to get the refund they owe us and promise us. It’s infuriating to have your phone shut off when they are the ones who owe me money for paying double monthly. It’s an endless, frustrating mess that you should avoid at all costs.

Since I had the phone 8 months ago people are telling me I'm not calling from the number I have it's a different number. Been down to the Verizon store four times and no one seems to want to help. I called the it help number they couldn't seem to help. So now I'm stuck with a $500 payoff bill because no one wants to help because I cannot use Verizon no more it's hurt my business
Horrible internet, slow as hell. Only thing they're good at is cell service they suck at everything else.
Verizon, makes there employees push products to customer, so they can get a commission. I called them several years ago to remove this second line product that didn't work properly because it made a static sound & they told me I couldn't remove it because I was in contact so stupid me paid on it for several years also ask employees agent to have this line removed & when canceling service, had texts a chat to investigate, why they never removed my service when, I called to have it terminated! But never got help.
Tip for consumers:
Never used Verizon, they train there employees to push There products for a commission & could careless about cumsumers needs.

Verizon cut off my phone without notice and then refused me access online to pay my bill by restricting my account. This because they randomly added a service and I did a chargeback because I could not reach them. The account was zero balance and on auto pay since it was opened. I think it's a scam to get late fees and reduce their credit card fees by freezing your payment capabilities online. The US needs FTC to jump in and stop this practice so people can manage fraud but also get notified if Verizon is adding charges or cutting off the phone. It was a nightmare to get it fixed. You must call SE Asia as the financial services in US does not generally answer, even for the store staff. It's a scheme that needs to be regulated.
My fiancé & I took his grandfather into the Buckeye location on Watson to activate his older flip phone that we were assured would be compatible with Verizon service. We walked into the store a few minutes after open, & there was already a line formed ahead of us. Only one employee was working in the store, & she said her name was Esme. We proceeded to sit for over an hour, waiting, while Esme chit-chatted with only q one single customer, looking through photos, & just generally making those of us waiting feel unimportant. While we waited, 4 other customers entered the store, & then left, due to not wanting to wait. We were repeatedly told by Esme that we would only be waiting "10 more minutes." Luckily, after over an hour of waiting, another employee came in & actually clocked in 40 minutes before his shift was scheduled to begin, in order to help us. While he was helping us, Esme interrupted to tell us that she didn't think they could even help us with our request. Luckily, she was wrong, & our issue was completely & quickly resolved by Caleb. He was very helpful & got us on our way as quickly as possible. Although we were grateful to Caleb, overall we were completely disgusted with the way Esme handled things. And unfortunately, this is a trademark of Verizon customer service. Avoid them if you can!

Verizon it has the worst customer service of any company I've ever encountered they sold us 6 phones that not only did not work in our area that they no did not work and they sold them to a 67 year old man that had to add no knowledge that they they they could check To see if the phones were would work in our area they knew they didn't when we try to call several times and argue these points they'd always put us on hold telling us that if they got disconnected they would call back the number a
T once did they call back not once did they ever make an effort to even hear our side of the story we got stuck with 6 things from them 2 phones 2 watches 2 tablets and a power booster they sold us none of which worked without Wi-Fi Those are outrageous they charged my husband the same charge for the same thing month after month recharging him again and again for a power booster and again and again for the tablet he had paid the whole thing off several times Yesterday we got rid of ve
Rizon thank God
App is terrible, and customer service is terrible. Man. Makes me want to switch carriers. Can't recover pin via there app or phone call. The app says pin reset sent your phone number on file. And never received anything from them. Absolutely waste of time.
Recently had major drops in our signal levels (bars), to the point of dropouts or inability to use online services. Screen freezes common. NO response from Verizon, nor any suggestions on how to get us better service. This is affecting our entire neighborhood. New problem.
Verizon Screwed up our bill and account every time we called, which at the end of a 20 year relationship was every month for 1-2 hours. Their customer service barely speaks english, and they continued to increase our bill every month despite telling us they had fixed it. Run away from this dishonest and horrible company. Wish we had left sooner. Switched to T-mobile and got better service and out bill decreased by $200 per month. I don't know how verizon expects to stay in business, shop elsewhere so you don't have to spend an hour a month on the phone straightening out your bill.
Just trying to add an additional cell phone to my existing account. After waiting on hold for over 10 minutes i started chatting with them. After the chat person asked 2 questions i had already spelled out in the text, i just called back and shouted agent repeatedly in to the phone. After getting transferred around i got to someone who spoke to me on a speaker phone far from the phone. Very unhappy.
The worst company, bad customer service bad company bad everything they charge me stuff I never agreed to they give me hard time even I change the company they still send me bills for stuff to pay. Horrible company
My Wife and I had the greatest customer service experience at Verizon's Sicklerville NJ. Store. Michael, their representative treated us like we were the most important customer and walked us through our purchase with patience, understanding, and professionalism. We could not be more satisfied. We purchased 3 I phone 14's and are getting the Fios internet.
