If I could give them 0 stars I would! They waste time posting dumb contests on their facebook page all day and spend less time helping their customers. They have no phone support so you have to wait & hope they will get back to you in a couple days. Oh please, a couple days is too long in this day & age. And their live support, don't rely on the live support section claiming it is open for live chat, I tried it but was told it ended 11 minutes prior to my post instead of taking the time to actually answer my question. Then when I said I wanted to cancel my serivce, I never went live with their site since it SUCKS! They said no refund. Give me a break. I will spread my experience to all! Horrible service, they are just greedy and looking for the $$$ that is all they care about! No problem... they will see where that gets them!

BluDomain offers stylish and reasonably priced websites, however, their customer service just crosses over what their developers have to offer. The templates are often delivered late, the bugs are fixed long, emails rarely returned and the phone doesn't answer. With such service it's impossible to run your website properly. I'm rather usuing Readyphotosite now. Their templates are nice and functional and the service is great!

AWFUL customer service. Just awful. The templates are nice and easy to use, which is what makes it tempting even after reading bad reviews. But when it comes time to launch your site, be prepared to wait, be prepared for there to be bugs, and be prepared to be ignored. It may SAY on their site they will get back to you in 36 hours, or that they will respond to your issues, but they won't. You will get no response from a human, and your concerns won't be heard. Maybe in another 2 weeks my site will finally be launched, correctly. Who knows. What kind of people work at this place? It's just awful. Awful and a waste of energy and irritation.

As with every other review, they are horrible at responding to customer concerns, appalling business practices. Three years in a row now they have put my site into " redemption," without even sending and invoice to me through PayPal, and now my site is down again, never received an invoice and Aundrea Hassleback who claims to be the CEO, will not even respond to my emails. I think we the consumers should all get together and file a class action law suit against Bludomain. There are enough of us who have had this situation with this so called company. Never ever use them..

I wish I could avoid giving them even one star. I have been with them for 2 years. I ordered a new site. After many emails and 2 weeks later, still no product because they can't find the order. I paid for it with Paypal, what's there to find? 2 more weeks later and not one response. I have had to dispute it with Paypal. They have no phone contact. Even the # given on the charge statement is for Paypal. Unbelievable! Do they not know they have competition? NEVER use them or anyone who does not have phone support.

I thought blu domain was awesome! Their templates are really easy to use- i got the brooklyn one. At first they took a week to answer, but it was over the holiday. It seems as though Samantha has the most orginization skill in the company- when I asked for help, she responded immediatly, so after the first week everything was a breeze!
Given, I'm not hosting my site through them, I just did a template purchase... I've been using siteground for years and they're a great hosting company- I'd host through them and get the template through bludomain if you have an option... It'll cost you an extra $100, but it's worth it!

I have had numerous issues with BluDomain over the years but typically they get resolved eventually. You have stay on top of them and baby sit them, I wouldn't host through them. Recently their RAID servers failed and according to them approx. Over 1000 clients lost their websites and emails including mine. They gave me another template and I have to start all over, not to mention no emails for the past several days and lost. I would go with WordPress and stay clear of BluDomain. Not to mention I was never billed for a my renewal last time and my site was shut down. BluDomain is selective on what issues they respond with. This morning they told my emails have been restored, six hours later no emails and they will not respond to my email inquiry buy they will respond to Template inquiry. Bludomain responded with a minute of this review but not to my customer service questions, I guess its all priorities.

Lee, when a catastrophe - server issue happens it's extremely frustrating. Your comments are extremely insulting and most everything you have stated is 100% untrue. We have worked on this issue with urgency. This has never happened to us in 15 years but once. It is not over 100,000 clients and no one from BluDomain told you this. This situation requires sensitivity and patience. We haven't missed a beat - our clients are our first priority.

Their customer service suck soooo much that I'm really close to buying tickets to Colorado (from Poland where I live) just to tell them this in the face.

Three days ago for some reason my email got down. I reported this thru theirs "submit a ticket thing". Guess what. Nothing happened. So i went on their live chat where someone assured me that saving my problem should take less than 24h. Guess what? Still nothing. Another "submit a ticket" and another live chat where someone promised me that someone will take care of my issue sometime today (that means yesterday). Guess what? Once again NOTHING happened. I also send three emails to their project manager (also no response). I was hoping to talk to them once again on the live chat but guess what? It should be open for 30 minutes already and there is no one there... I'm starting to think that their customer service just doesn't exist...

My contract with this joke ends in November and one thing's sure - I'm out of there.

Aundrea Hasselbach of BluDomain.com attempted to scam a client of mine out of additional payment when we tried to move her domain out of BluDomain. When pressed further she did not hesitate to lie to me in order to attempt to justify her scam. Worse yet, Aundrea never attempted to verify my involvement with our shared client, simply accepting my word that I was working on the client's behalf, which poses a very significant and very real security concern for any current and potential BLuDomain.com customer.

This company will not follow their own terms of service, and absolutely will attempt to scam you at their first opportunity. They will also allow anyone at all with passing knowledge of your website/domain to write in and make changes to your account. Do no, under any circumstances, sign up with BluDomain.com.

I have been with Bludoamin for over 10 years. Last year I had multiple problems with my site being shut down. I paid my $100.00 hosting fee and then on three different occasions my site was shut down because I did not pay. Each time I had to provide bank information to confirm I had paid. After three times Bludomain apologized and said they would give me a free year of hosting. Fast forward to receiving my invoice for 2018 hosting. I have sent at least 6 e-mails concerning this issue. I have not received one response. I absolutely hate these companies that make it impossible to reach an actual human. I find this extremely poor customer service and I highly recommend you do not do business with this company. Bludomain is fine if you never have a problem but as soon as you do thet are no where to be found.

Im very sad and disappointed with Bludomain because my site is down since March 20th, I already paid my domain fee on January and my hosting few days ago, I sent 2 tickets and emails and there is no answer at all! And this is an emergency, now that I'm working from home I need my website to work with!
I don't know what else can I do.
This is not the first time this happens but I have had a quick response, I don't know what is their problem now.

Absolutely atrocious customer service! I have also paid for my website this year and Aundrea has claimed they have not received my payment despite the fact that I've sent multiple confirmations of this and it's come out if my account. They have now shut down my website without notifying me and are being completely unresponsive to my emails. I highly recommend you DO NOT USE!

Aundrea at Bludomain has a serious attitude and is so unprofessional! They sent me a Paypal request for $100 after 7 years of not "subscribing" and when I asked for details she could not provide them! Just told me that if I wasn't "willing to pay" then maybe I should move on to a different company... well Aundrea... I am! Thanks for nothing!

Our hosting fee for all of our sites is $100.00 yearly. Nothing has changed in 20 years. She threatened BluDomain that she would write reviews everywhere because she doesn't want to pay the annual hosting fee that has been the same for over 20 years. A website can't exist without hosting. We simply can't give her hosting for free & we understand if she wishes to move on to another company if our fees are in her budget. If she's not willing to pay then yes another company is best for you.

Blu didn't bill me for my domain, and then shut my site down. Any advice as to what I can do?

Last year they lost my entire site when supposedly their server died. I was one of many people this happened to. Since my photo business is not my primary business, I didn't get around to rebuilding it until last month. Last month, just as they have done for the last 3 years, they did NOT send me a bill to renew my domain and just took my site down. I have been submitting emergency help tickets, sending emails and messaging them on FB and they are blently ignoring me. I found, by reading reviews, this is common practice for them? Can anyone give me advice on #1, how to get my site back, and #2, how to hold them accountable? How can they continue to get away with this? I've filed a complain with BBB but I feel like we need to put these crooks out of business at this point.

Don't use them, heed the reviews and don't use them. Avoid the outages, the lost of data, the outdated templates that don't function. Here's them apologizing on July 4th, 2018 for another outage. "We are personally sorry for any inconvenience that we caused some of our clients during this server failure." Zero stars needs to be an option, anywhere but bludomain.

Dear be afraid - we have been in business for 20 years & this has never happened to our company. Incredibly frustrating but it is a machine. We have 1 star because this platform is for negative commenters such as yourself. We are the most advanced web company in the industry. We hope you never have to experience as a business owner. This company has the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. They say you'll get your website by 11:59pm of the day you register. It's took 5 days to get my website, then they sent me a wrong password, which took another several days for them to respond. I had no access to my website to create it. I sent multiple emails with no response. I shut down my previous website to create a new one through bludomain. I had clients waiting on my new website to be up to view their recent photo sessions. I think the only positive reviews written about this company were written by the company itself to bump up their ratings.

I have archived website and now no where to be found.

Hello Kim, you have been emailing BluDomain. You paid your hosting fee however you haven't paid your domain name renewal. You sent us receipts of your domain name renewal from 2019. It's 2020 we haven't received that. We're trying to help you, resent more invoices but so far no payment.

Refuses refund

BluDomain lost my entire website, blog and 6 MONTHS of emails! That is HUGE! All of my work. Countless hours. 5 days ago I paid for another year of service and I don't want to continue OBVIOUSLY. I do not trust them at all. And I wasn't happy with my website anyway. I asked for a refund and this is what they tell me, "We can only apologize for the inconvenience and do all we can to get your web presence back. We are compensating new websites & support. This was a catastrophic event that could not be predicted or prevented". NO NO NO! How terrible is this. Terrible customer service. Do not go with this company. Do not!

Mollie, Mollie. We have already addressed your situation & emails are not lost they are in recovery mode, that unfortunately takes time. We didn't lose your work - you still have that somewhere I hope. We had a server failure that lost websites. They are replaceable and our own concerns right now are getting clients back online. It's super frustrating and as you stated you will not accept our apology. We hope you have a better day.

Can I do negative stars?! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. It took some threats to get a response by email... and they REFUSE to make phone calls. I would NEVER recommend them to ANYONE!
