Not as pictured

First time ordering. Extremely disappointed. (Toronto order) not sure what the Nova Scotia order looks like. They were not like it was pictured on site sadly. As you can tell hardly any greenery at all. Since they are a mother's Day gift during a time of isolation its heartbreaking to see what she received

SCAM

Bloomex is a big scam. They have pics of beautiful flowers on their website but what you get is far from the pic you saw. Actually, I bought white daisies but what they sent were some creme coloured roses that already had brown petals. I complained and they said it was in the fine print that they could substitute other flowers for something of equal value if what I ordered was not in stock.
After a week these ugly roses have still not opened and they're getting very brown. I paid $44.99 for daisies and got brown roses. My wife was out grocery shopping today and picked up a beautiful bouquet of daisies for $9.99.
If you want nice flowers I highly recommend you not use Bloomex and look else were. I actually went to post another review on Google and noticed that they had 3,000 more reviews than last week when I posted. SCAM

If you are looking to surprise a loved one with a nice bouquet of flowers you will most likely end up being very disappointed as I was. The quality of the flowers was appalling with customer service to match. Giving them plenty of opportunity to correct the issue all I got was feeble excuses and by the looks of it a well rehearsed response, obviously lots of complaints... I will certainly not be using this company again and strongly suggest anyone considering using Bloomex look elsewhere to save disappoint.

Get you act together Bloomex and deliver what you are supposed to, the flowers delivered didn't even match the website. You had your chance to make good, hence the well deserved feedback!

Disgusting dead flowers
December 29, 2022

I ordered flowers for my mom that were supposed to be delivered Dec 24, they arrived December 27 brown and dead. Disrespectful and disgusting. Do not use this company it's a waste and theft of your money. The company and employees are obviously uncaring. I've used them before aswell and the flowers have never been the same as the photos, always a disappointment.

Scam company
June 29, 2021

I've ordered 100 roses for birthday present, they delivered 27. That's $110 wasted. They refuse to take it back and give money back, only offering $20 store credit. It's a joke, they say they didn't had enough and substitute it with different flowers. Maybe its 63 invisible roses that i dont see.

I ordered a gourmet hamper and was sent a lot of cheap substitutes. Absolutely NOTHING like the advertised item nor items from their advertised list. Getting nowhere with customer services. Finding lots of bad press online which I wish I had seen before ordering. Will never use again. Absolute scam. Pictures are what I ordered and what was sent. Allegedly valued at $100 plus postage.

I ordered flowers for my best friend to lift her spirits and was so excited to find a beautiful lavender bouquet on the website. Once received, I saw that it looked nothing like the picture on the website where the picture had included a few lavender roses and the bouquet received only had one rose in a very different color. The flowers were in poor condition and when I advised the company by showing them pictures of what was received, they said they're within their policies and apologize for my unfortunate experience but at the end of the day, was not willing to do anything to rectify the situation. Horrible horrible customer service. I will never buy flowers from here again > :( Please save your money! There are so many other competent florists who care about their customers, Bloomex definitely isn't one of them. I have attached pictures of the flowers on the website and what was received. You will see, they look nothing alike!

Rip Off
April 12, 2020

I ordered and paid for three deluxe CHEESE baskets to be delivered to my children in Edmonton and Westmount. Only one basket contained one small item of cheese. I phoned in my order so I could explain exactly what I wanted and was guaranteed 6 cheeses and 4 boxes of crackers in each gift basket. Your customer support telephone is out of service, your chat option tells me to email and your email option sends me an automatic response. I am out $300.00 for boxes of cookies, tea and tuna?! Adding insult to injury I was given a 15% discount on my next order?! Not happening. Terrible company that has lost my business.

My wife's birthday ruined.

After no less than seven calls on this day there were no flowers to arrive at all. I was told they are minutes away over a period of 8 hours.
I have been embarrassed and humiliated as my wife thought I did nothing for her birthday.
Bloomex are a scam. Happy to take the money and deliver nothing. I have been made a fool of by these scammers. I will shout it from the roof tops to all that will listen through social media and wherever I can to warn people of this. O stars is too many for this excuse for a business. Bloomex for flowers? Don't bother. Zero is what you will receive.

Bait and Switch = SCAM

Bloomex claims that they have substituted flowers of equal or greater value as part of their policy when flowers ordered are not available. Please see the attached pictures. This must be a bad joke! There is no similarity whatsoever. Besides, the fact the flowers arrived frozen so therefore damaged. They refuse to refund me and have since blocked my emails and phone calls when I demand to speak to a manager for a full refund. First photo is what I ordered. Second photo is what my friend received.

Never again

I wish I had read the reviews before spending money and being embarrassed by the quality of my gift. Unfortunately Bloomex only allows complaints within 24 hours- I think this is totally unreasonable as it is not always appropriate that the recipient would want to complain about the gift you sent them- it is embarrassing for both parties- I wrote a very friendly and understanding email to customer service and was rejected and then called, again in a kind, gentle way, and was still told nothing can be done after 24 hours- I feel upset- but more embarrassed -that my gift was of poor quality. I don't think it is reasonable that in the case of a gift you can expect the recipient to complain - that is embarrassing to both parties- I happened to send plants, so I only found out that the plants lost leaves the 1st day when it came up while we were discussing care of our plants.
Won't ever use them again.

Terrible quality control
August 8, 2023

I ordered a gift basket for my mother from across the country. Unfortunately she didn't tell me how terrible it was until the second order. The chocolates were old and getting white, the caramel corn was one big lump, the cherry candies were stuck to the wrappers and pretty much inedible. I called Bloomex after the fact but nothing was done. I will never order from them again. If I could put zero stars I would.

Deluxe fruit basket
August 3, 2023

After my brother took a massive heart attack I sent him a fruit basket with a little teddy bear. It cost $127.00 I had no problem with that as the basket on their website was beautiful. My brother received about a bag of apples and a few oranges. I was horrify to see what he received. I called the company they told me to write a complaint by email wishing I did and never heard back. Do not use this company!

Received my Mother's Day arrangement from my son. The flowers were brown tipped, wilted and some dead. I emailed Bloomex with photos and their response was that it was in accordance with their policy. They did not look anything like was ordered. Worst experience ever!

Poor

Saw an amazing full flower bouquet arrangement online, bought it on the phone with bloomex. When the bouquet was delivered, only 5 flowers were sent in the bouquet. NOTHING like what I paid for (bouquet came up to 52$ with tax and same day shipping). Not even worth the price I paid. Poor customer service.

Approach with Caution

Started to place an order with these guys. They ask for the payment information before getting the delivery information. After entering my payment information, I decided to cancel my order and couldn't because I hadn't entered in the delivery information. Check my credit card app and already had a charge pending even though I hadn't completed my order. Tried to sort out via the online chat. First person completely ghosted me. Second person did the same. Finally emailed their customer "service," and while they did get back to me somewhat promptly, was told my only options were to either complete the order or get a credit, ON AN ORDER I DIDN'T EVEN COMPLETE.
I opted to complete the order and have it sent. Get the order and open it to see that it is partial assembly required. Spent $75 on something I didn't want and had to arrange ourselves.
Will not use ever again. Will tell everyone I know to not use.

Terrible
July 20, 2021

Ordered flowers for a birthday. They arrived when opening the box the vase was smashed and the flowers were damaged and had glass pieces all over and in them. Was very unsatisfied and talked to customer service who would not refund me no matter what. Been talking to customer service for 5 days and still don't have a suitable solution. I honestly would not recommend Bloomex to anyone. It was a terrible experience and if you're order for anything comes with problems expect to just get F****d. Please don't just read my testament read all the others with terrible experiences. If the customer service was better I would've withheld my reviews. But I don't want good people out there getting ripped off

Bloomex Gift Baskets

My husband recently received a Bloomex gift basket (GTA) ordered by his sister in England. It was beautifully wrapped and delivered to our door in a sealed box. The assortment of goodies is awesome! We were so impressed that we ordered a similar gift basket for a helpful neighbour. Communication from placing the order to delivery was excellent. Highly recommend!

My wife got her flowers today that were suppose to be a nice bouquet of roses, carnations and white flowers. With some chocolate truffle candies. The white flowers were already wilting and somewhere broken. There was about half the thickness of the bouquet on the picture, and there were no chocolate truffle candies at all. I wish I was seen these reviews before I use this company. They're a rip off for sure, and even if they decide to reply to this review they're just trying to keep their lousy business going. I don't want anything from them lesson learned.

I ordered deluxe pink roses which were terrible!
30% of the buds were rotten. I asked for a refund but they said it was just "guard pedals" which met their quality control as to description and colour. No refund.
I was too embarrassed to give this to my loved one.
I definitely don't recommend using this company!
