I think this site is awful! The prices are cheap but clearly they need to bump them up to get better customer service. I placed an order in December for some boots. They ended up charging me DOUBLE the amount and bouncing my account which I had to pay an additional charge for... even though it was their fault. It took me DAYS to get a hold of them over this and they pretty much told me there is nothing they can do but give me the extra money they charged back. It's now 1/17/13 and I still have not got the boots. First they put the wrong address on them and they got shipped to another customer, returned and now that they are here my carrier won't deliver the dumb things without a signature... I do have a job so I don't really have time for this so they are pretty much on the verge of being sent back to them. I'm about fed up! This site is ridiculous and I've spend so much time, energy and money over something I could care less about. Screw you Totsy!
I absolutely love the deals on this website! The biggest issue I have is shipping. If you are ok with waiting a month before your order arrives and ok with some of them getting lost, then by all means order from Totsy.com. I have also sent emails to them about my order that never arrived (been over 2 months) and never got a response. Their customer service hours are from M-F 10-5 EST. Crummy! I went ahead and ordered again on 9/17 and still have not received a "shipped" email. UGH! Needless to say, I will NOT be buying from them again... depending on their customer service today after I call of course. Customer service is a big deal when dealing with a company.
Stinks. As a vendor, (the other side), The reason why ALL your orders are late is because they place the order AFTER they made the sale to us, and THAT's such a bad business model. This is the same thing with Zulily as well. I can't speak of other bargain discount sites, but Zulily and Totsy are similar, bad customer service, at least one month shipping wait because you have to wait for the products to arrive at from our warehouse to theirs, then they fulfill it. They don't even pay the vendors until 30 days after the order. Also, they charge back for everything we might have missed. This kind of business model really stinks and it's a lose/lose for everyone except for Totsy & Zulily that might have a fat wallet for a little bit, but it will catch on. That's what you get from a Bargain site. NO way around it, you get what you pay for: bad service, shoddy products, and bad customer service=headaches. I will never do business with them again as a vendor & customer.

***A lot of their fine jewelry is actually from China. If you get a piece from China, chances are the stones are fake and the gold may be just triple plated. Chinese sellers use these auction sites to sell their jewelry.
***Some of the "Brand Name" watches they sell are brands created for auction sites like this and the only value it has is what you paid for it. Ebay is the only place where you will find a lot of their "Name Brand" watches and jewelry. You will never find them in a real jewelry store.
***Prices are inflated. Actual value of the item is usually 10-15% of what they say its worth.
***The pictures on Bidz look great but chances are your jewelry or watch wont look as good.
***If you purchase a watch or piece of jewelry from Bidz and it looks like it has been used, chances are the watch or jewelry was a return item and placed back in the auction.
I made a purchase December 27.2017. Contacted bidz.com several times leading up to may about the status of my order. Every time a received a generic response stating that the supplier was back ordered and I would receive my order shortly. After submitting another complaint ticket (7 in total) I received a response claiming I needed to dispute the charges with my credit card company for a refund as I was not receiving my order as bidz.com was not doing business with that supplier any longer. My order was cancelled. I contacted my credit card company to find out it was past the 119 days they allow for a dispute. Bidz.com well no longer respond to my questions. I have lost $500 to bidz.com.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM Bidz.com. If you do please be advised you well need to dispute your payment with your credit card company within 119 day.

I cannot believe even penny auctions have partnered with buysafe.com. This is pathetic and is still gambling and I am sure people fall for this all of the time. Do yourself a favor and research penny auctions here on sitejabber before you sign up for bids.
After placing my order, I did not receive a confirmation number. The charge did go through my credit card and six months later, I still have not received the item. I have attempted to contact the company via phone and email. The initial response was promising, apologies for a troubled system and would I like a refund or the item. That was the last word. I have since disputed the charge with my credit card company who was kind enough to refund my money even though the dispute period had expired. Numerous follow up's have gone unanswered.
Not worth it. Order took about four weeks to ship. Sent me item in wrong size. I sent e-mail to customer service twice. Never received any response. I have to keep something I cannot use due to someone's error. Not really a deal. I know I can do a lot better elsewhere and will not order from Totsy again. Seriously- don't waste your time.
Ordered one of their private label rings at an 85% discount. Got it verified and appraised. Got free 2 day shipping and received the item before their estimates.
The new Bidz.com is poor in the shipment department. My order status had not been updated after 5 or 6 days, (not like the old Bidz) so I started calling Bidz to see what was going on with my orders. Each time I called customer service I got the same person, when I called the billing, I got the customer service person from before. Then finally the office manager got on the phone and was upset with me! After about 3 weeks, I finally received some of my orders but not all of them. Still waiting for an updated status on the remaining orders, but this is it for me.

Worst internet ordering experience ever. Stay AWAY! It took over a month for my order to ship. I email company, said i wanted to cancel my order & what do you know-it shipped the next day. My order arrived and was missing an item... I called the company and they said they would issue and refund withing 7-10 days. That was a month ago. Still no refund. I have since called the company and email. No response. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau ASAP.
I ordered a couple of product early November I had not gotten my items a month later.
When I called customer service they were not helpful and simple said my order was held back because of one item in my order. When I asked them why I was never emailed and informed about this, I got no response.
When I asked about shipping the items that were available already, the lady said that not how their business operates. The only solution is to cancel the order for the item that was outstanding. Then they can ship my other items.
This is poor customer service at its highest...
TERRIBLE, AWFUL, NO GOOD. Stay away. Do some looking around the internet and you'll find nothing but tragic tales of woe. They take your money, ignore your complaints and never ship your merchandise. I strongly suspect any decent reviews are written by their employees, who are too busy doing that to refund your money. You've been warned!
I have purchased many things from bidz. Of course had some issues time by time. But I have received all items I ordered. Last purchase two weeks ago and it's already delivered. I am satisfied with bidz service.
It took a month for Totsy to process my order. Some of my order involved baby's clothing, and after a month my child had little time left to wear the clothes before they were two small. The main item I had wanted in the order was missing, but Totsy did not notify me prior to sending the order. I have lodged repeated complaints but have heard nothing back from them.
They are absolutely horrible.
The first time I ordered was fantastic. Second timed sucked. I have been waiting since 9/3/11 for 2 cute Alex toys. $90 worth of toys -- they charged me right away and said my order shipped at the end of September. I received 1 out of 3 things in my order. Contacted customer service and they said they would refund my order. Waited and waited. Today received a notice that they refunded me 1/2 of what they owe me. Called and was told it would take 7-10 business days to refund the rest. WTF?

I placed my first order with Totsy about a year ago. I waited about 3 weeks for my order to be fulfilled, then I contacted them. They got right back with me and told me that the item I had ordered was no longer available, and they gave me a full refund. So that was not the best experience, but it was fair.
Fast forward to this year. I decided to give Totsy another try, so around the first of March I ordered two cute outfits for Easter. After I placed the order, I noticed that it said the shipping date would be around April 1. Uh-oh, Easter was March 31 this year. To my surprise, I received the two outfits 3 days before Easter, just about the time I was getting ready to go to the mall to pick out last minute Easter outfits. The outfits were perfect, the prices were great, and they delivered even sooner than they promised. So, I'm glad I didn't read all these negative reviews before ordering from Totsy. I will use this company again.

I ordered five books, each at $1 a piece. When proceeded to checked out my total was $5, I confirmed my order of $5 then was sent an email stating my total was $12.95.
This rediculous website says nothing about charging shipping or any shipping charged until after you have already confirmed an order.
I emailed them complaining about this and here is there response. "Unfortunately we are unable to warn our customers of early shipping or halt shipping upon request."
Thats it, so much for customer service. If only want to know that you are being charged shipping after you've confirmed an order, this is the company for you. But if you're like me and assume when you confirm an order the confirmed price you are agreeing is what you are being charged, shop somewhere else.
