I've watched and bid on this site for weeks. Sure you see others winning some items at what you would consider a great deal but try it, you won't win. They definitely use bots to bid. I lost most auctions by $1. You'll never get a great on this site and will only win auctions when they make money. Trust me you can get these items cheaper elsewhere. Don't believe me? Well go ahead and win something, go get it appraised or try to resell, then you'll see.

Paid for 3 items on July 9. No response from bidz for over ten days. Sent an email to enquire what happened to order. Reply from bidz that one item was sold out yet this same item was on auction just this week at a lower start price than that I paid for. The item closed with no bid. Bidz say they will refund the money (just the one item?) and no information on the other items. Very bad business practice. I wrote to ask for total refund and will definitely not buy from them again.

I have been shopping on bidz.com for many years and most of the time the experience has been very positive. And before there was a good selection and good customer service that I could actually call to. And now it is a different story. In over two months I neither can get my merchandise or a refund for my money. We exchanged e-mails for the last two months, and except for false promises, nothing has happened.

I have ordered twice from them. The first time it took over 6 weeks to get the item and it was ripped and looked worn. When I tried to return the item it was like trying to break into fort knox. So many rules and hoops to jump through. Not very user friendly. The second time I ordered I got duped by a coupon code. I should never have ordered but the same sh#t happened again. Only order if you like getting used items and getting them months after you order. Would rather shop on ebay.

Theft of my money
June 12, 2018

Last October and November I was shopping for Xmas presents on bids, big mistake! The company took my money and didn't send my items. They kept telling me they were on the way and kept me from calling my bank in a timely matter. They continued to tell me that they were 'taking care of it.' They took $3000 dollars from me. If you buy anything from them and don't receive it, call your bank or credit card ASAP, they have a time frame.

Avoid this company

My last review of this company was for the most part good, but I have had a recent experience with this company that has changed my mind about there business practices. I recently purchased a Buy it Now item and I have emailed this company 4 times and phoned this company once and have yet to receive any form of communication other then the standard "will respond in 1-2 business days". I purchased the item in good faith and that I would have the item in time for a birthday gift. Bidz promised 5 to 7 days shipping time and when last checked- more then 15 days have passed and the order is still open. All attempts at communication have failed. Is this company going the way of the previous company did? Chapter 7?.
My advise is to avoid this company as I have a very bad feeling about this company's future. I have probably lost $520.00 Canadian and that is a hard lesson to learn.

I ordered a few items between 2011 and 2016 without any issue. Ordered items in October and November of 2017 for Christmas but never received anything. Despite months of communication with their customer service, I still have not received what was purchased.

I will not recommend this website to anyone. Over a month that I placed an order and still have not received the item. When I order something a pay for it right away, so expect the items to be shipped in a reasonable amount of time, but a month? Will never order from this website ever again. Stay away no matter how tempting their "deals" are.

This website is nothing but fraudulent. They never shipped my order yet they billed my credit card. All e-mail correspondence has gone unanswered. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. The attorney general should investigate them for fraud. Tell all you friends. Use this site at your peril.

Lost my order
September 30, 2011

Lost my order - said it was my credit card's fault (which I use every day) - order confirmation received - credit card pre-authorized - order disappears after 3-4 days - email response time non-existant - customer service phone reps clueless - site down once a day for "maintenance" for the past week - much better options like zulily or gilt

If I could rate Totsy lower than 1 star, I would do so.

This company is either the most disorganized company on the face of the planet, or they are a bunch of con artists.

I have twice applied my $30 credit to an order only to be charged full price. They always promise they'll fix it, but somehow that never seems to happen.

Stay away from this company at all costs

I love deals!

I love deals! So you can imagine how happy I was when I found this site. The shipping took some time, but my products came in perfect condition! Ordered a scarf, books for the kids and some shoes for the kids. I'm not used to sites like these - where shipping is about 3 weeks. However, I called customer service and the girl who helped me was SO sweet! She explained the process of their shipping and how the company worked. I would totally shop Totsy again despite the longer shipping times. So worth the wait when you're getting items for MORE than half off. Thanks Totsy <*******

Customer service was nearly nonexistent. I ordered 8 items on 11/21/2012, received 7 of them a month later (and one item was not represented accurately in the listing photo), emailed Totsy to find out where my missing item was, then didn't hear back. I finally posted on Totsy's Facebook page, which is apparently the only way to get any type of customer service. After a couple of emails, I was finally told -- on Christmas Eve! -- that the missing item was no longer in stock, and that my money would be refunded. Too bad for me, because that was supposed to be a Christmas gift. After reading the other complaints on Totsy's FB page, I can see this is pretty much how Totsy operates, and I won't be buying anything else from them.

I've ordered from this site a few times, and each time I've waited over 3 weeks to get my items, with no update communication from the website. In addition, I tried to buy a VOUCHER that clearly stated in the description that the redemption code would be EMAILED. Then when I went to check out, thank god I noticed they were charging me $7.95 SHIPPING! For an email!? This is probably the last straw for me. I also do not like how everything is final sale. Every single item I have been interested in during the 2 years I have been a member has always been non-returnable. This is just not possible with little kids. I'll stick with Hautelook and Gilt from now on. At least they have return policies on their kids items.

Following on from a bad review about none receipt of goods and poor customer service; i did eventually get a credit about 14mths later. Re-bid on the same and another product. The other product was despatched after complaining but the original has never been received and now there website is not contactable.

I understand this has happened before... so I say never use any bidz / buys related site.

***BUYERS BEWARE****This company has a standard 15 business day shipping rule so don't expect to get your item quickly. Also, if they ship late, which they did in my case, they offer no sort of customer service. I was charged shipping, which was $7.95 when I was supposed to have free shipping per their website, and they refused to refund it. Customer service on the phone and via email is awful.

Scam company
January 23, 2018

I ordered a watch from Bidz. After many months of waiting I got a letter from them that it was on its way, It never arrived. I contacted them and they said once it goes out they dont refund,
I also ordered a man's watch which wasnt what I wanted. Followed their instructions on how to return. Got extra insurance at the post office and they advised me that Bidz had received the return but now 3 months later Ive received no refund,
The tracking notice that they sent showed about 20 stops all over the USA and Im very curious about how the company does business.
Dont be sucked in by this company. It is a scam in my opinion based on my experiece,

I'm done with Totsy
August 22, 2012

I'm done with Totsy. This is the second time that after waiting for 4 weeks to get items they casually send me a note indicating the item is no longer available. I purchased two complementary items this last time and now I only have half of the gift. Great. One would think they can tell you that right away. I'm done. It's too bad as they have nice, cute stuff.

So far not good

So far not good. I ordered my things on November 16th and it is December 5th at night and they just sent a message that my order is ready to ship. Are they kidding? All the orders I ordered from other websites were delivered 2 weeks ago and this shipment has not technically even made it onto a truck yet. I won't be ordering from them again.

I wrote a review a couple weeks ago and gave 1 star. After paying for my items in March and still not receiving them a month later, I got an email from someone named Grin from Bidz. Make a long story short, he said they had new vendors and could ship different items or maybe the same. They couldn't give me a refund, which I was really upset about, so I asked him to credit my Bidz account for what I had paid. He did that the same day, so I went to auction and found the exact same watch I had ordered before and won the bid. It was like 10 bucks cheaper and says will ship in 5-7 days. We will see. The same day, which was yesterday 4/18/18, I also made an offer on a pair of sunglasses, it was accepted and it actually shipped out today according to tracking number. Maybe they are trying to do better. I guess we will see. I hope so. Do better Bidz because I have loved your site for almost 10 years.
