This isn't the first time I've ordered from Stauer. Each previous order was handled well, and items received in a timely manner. Very nice jewelry items at good prices. These purchases will be prizes in the raffle held by the non-profit organization to which I belong. We had a couple of necklace and earring sets last year, and they were popular prizes. I expect these will be, as well. Thanks for the coupons, helps a lot...!
Your advertising is a gimmick. AARP magazine ad doesn't say that the chain isn't included. Web site changes the prices after items go into cart. Discounts appear and disappear seemingly at random. Your shipping charges are ludicrous. It doesn't cost $19.95 + $4.75 insurance to ship a 2 ounce item by regular UPS. You're just trying to make back some of the "discount" on the items.
The jewelry will take your breath away. Stauer carries jewelry in so many different gem stones you will get dizzy just looking at their catalog. I've purchased about 50 rings over the years. I love their watches too. I have about a dozen of them! Many watches and necklaces were given away as gifts.

Cheap crap. Maybe if you spend 4 or 5 hundred dollars you might get something that doesn't fall apart (literally the bezel fell off when I replaced the dead battery it was shipped with) on the first day. BTW their internals are plastic with Chinese characters (they're made in China that's why it takes so long and costs so much to ship) way to rip off octogenarians living on fixed income.

I ordered an item for my 50th anniversary. It never showed up and I never received a notice that the item was no longer available. I had to make other plans. When I looked at my account it indicated backordered, later it was cancelled but I never received a notice of any kind. Better communication with customers would be a great service and don't offer items that aren't available.
Wouldn't honor my membership certificates. Never received them and wouldn't replace them.
I have used Stauer in the past and I like the quality of the products. I was once a member but Stauer failed to send my certificates and wouldn't send replacements. Because of that I quit using Stauer. I recently decided to give them another try and bingo, poor customer service still and products advertised that are no longer available. I think I just made my last order.

I got the earrings from Stauer which I ordered to my spouse birthday but was really disappointed. One of the earring was defective (gap in the middle of the earring caused it fell apart, Did't expect it from Stauer. I thought its products have good quality control.

Stauer aggressively sells Platinum memberships when customers call to order products. At three different times, I repeatedly stated to the agent that I did NOT want a Platinum membership. When I received an email confirmation of my order, a membership was listed and included in the charge to my credit card. This is a dishonest and unethical practice to include memberships in customers' orders without their consent or even when a customer specifically says that they do not want a membership. Unless you check your emailed order confirmation carefully, you might end up paying for something you did not order.

Placed order for my Eagle Eye glasses and received them in 4 to 5 days. Glasses were as advertised. I wear them on bright sunny days and also partly cloudy or thin cloud days that are still bright. Glasses are very comfortable.

Recently my wife has reconnected with a cousin and they have become good friends. The cousins husband collects Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. We are invited to a barbecue at their house and we will give him a model 1957 Corvette from Stauer.

The 1957 Corvette is a gift for a relative who collects Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. Even though the scale is larger, I am sure he will appreciate it since he is a "car guy".

Before deciding to order this Swiss Noire Bienne Leather Watch, I searched the Internet on Seiko, hoping to find one that is made in Japan, suits my taste, and is affordable--only to no avail. Anyway, this Swiss watch looks great to me. Hopefully, it would last long for me.
Stauer gives an informative description of each watch presented on its website. I read it carefully and found it helpful for me to make a purchase decision that would not be based mostly on emotion.
Basically, it was a Swiss-made watch, for which I have faith in its quality. Hopefully, it would last more than ten years since the design looked simple, elegant, and timeless.
I got my set yesterday and it's beautiful. I did get charged the wrong price, but I called and the Customer Service people I spoke to were wonderful and corrected it. It is an amazingly beautiful set for the price. I will definitely buy from Stauer again!
