The shopping / ordering experience was seamless. The product is everything your web site says and more. Haven't had a pair of sunglasses this good, clear vision wise, since my pilot sunglasses in the USAF. Really clear, crisp visual detail. Excellent!
This company should be ashamed of myself and so should I. I generally find something that I would purchase from the catalog, have a special code and then the price goes up and the code doesn't work. What a bunch of BS - and apparently other folks feel the same. I will now instantly throw out and take myself off the email list. My money can be spent elsewhere with a much more customer service oriented and more honest firm than these jokers!
Bought one of their advertised watch specials (supposedly discounted $199). Very cheap in all aspects and not even worth the dirt cheap price I paid. Started to come apart the very first day. I will not buy from Stauer ever again.
I would never order from them again! I ordered the end of October for Christmas and with 5 days until Christmas still have not received my order and they don't know when I will. They keep stringing you along and say you will have it on time and now here I am without the gift! Terrible customer service and they could care less! I see they have bad reviews other than mine. To bad I didn't check first.
I went to Stauer web site to buy my wife a gift.
Had an idea what I wanted.
Right when I got in, pop-up came up to offer $50 off, if you were to spend over $100.
Had to provide e-mail and accept receiving BS in the future.
Searched site for gift and checked out, the $50 was not done automatically.
I called next day, was told that the order was being processed and there was nothing he could do.
Customer service instructed me to call back next day.
Called next day, was told that they couldn't do anything because the order had already been processed.
I didn't make this $#*! up, they offered it.
Pissed me off, Idiots!
Cheap crap. Maybe if you spend 4 or 5 hundred dollars you might get something that doesn't fall apart (literally the bezel fell off when I replaced the dead battery it was shipped with) on the first day. BTW their internals are plastic with Chinese characters (they're made in China that's why it takes so long and costs so much to ship) way to rip off octogenarians living on fixed income.
I purchased 4 items from this STAUER. Only one item a Raffinato pair of earrings were satisfactory. The other 3 were so cheap, I would not give them as gifts. 1. a leather money clip was not leather but rather a cheap leather plastic imitation $49.00,2. Dolce Murano necklace $49.00 the chain broke in my hand when taking it out of the box and clip holding the glass hanging droplet was discoloring and not milled properly at the edges. 3. A Snowflake pendant $25.00 which was advertised for it's sparkling crystals was dull with no sparkle at all. This company has a poor customer satisfaction rating on the internet. I wish I had researched STAUER before I purchased from them. Buyer Beware!

This bracelet which I bought for my wife is rather attractive, however, it tends to unfasten on its own while she's wearing it. This poses the possibility of losing it. The fastening feature is too flimsily made and the bracelet has the tendency to fall off her hand, unknowingly.

Over the past 15 years, I have purchased several watches from Stauer and they were generally good and always attractive. But I never went beyond men's watches until 2022. This year, I have ventured carefully into jewelry for my wife and a pair of Italian deck shoes for myself. So far, my wife has enjoyed the jewelry and the deck shoes, although expensive, seem to live up to the hype in the catalog. Customer service has always been excellent and, so far, I have no legitimate complaints.

I ordered this as part of an Anniversary gift, the delivery date I received on ordering was before our anniversary but it arrived well past the date of 7/14. So it was late. I would not have ordered these items if they could not arrive as promised.
I received my order, and was not pleased with the packaging, and quality of the item. The necklace looks cheap and more like a plastic or glass imitation, not the natural appearance I was looking for.
I will be returning the order.
Got the knife in and I really like it, however the blade has a spot of discoloration on the right side. Also on the left side of the blade there is a small crack or nick up near the spine of the blade close to the handle. As you know condition is everything with collecting.
Experience in purchasing, this product was sensational, however when the product arrived. I was not satisfied with it overall appearance. I was purchasing this product for my wife's birthday, and she was not pleased with it either. It was shipped pack this week.
I have ordered products for several years from Stauer. I have never had any problems with their products. I have had many complements with them as has my wife. I am awaiting an order now and my wife keeps checking the mail and says that she can hardly wait for it to arrive.
The jewelry will take your breath away. Stauer carries jewelry in so many different gem stones you will get dizzy just looking at their catalog. I've purchased about 50 rings over the years. I love their watches too. I have about a dozen of them! Many watches and necklaces were given away as gifts.
Stauer LLC is not a watch company. It is an E-Commerce business, located in Burnsville Minnesota, that started up in 2002. Perhaps the town is well named based on complaints from consumers. Basically the company has stuff made in China and sells it on the internet. It is not an original scheme, Chinese companies do it all of the time.
If you go to Stauer's website it is a virtual hodgepodge emporium of clothing, housewares, jewelry, lotions, ect. It is like an upscale surplus store online. Anyone who believes that they are getting quality merchandise, or a good watch here, is begging for trouble. The website also sells Swiss Alpine Military, Swiss Tactical, and Nautica watches. Stauer also offers a "high end" watch brand called Charmex that are allegedly Swiss made.
Evidently the company stocks anything they can flog for a profit. You can't blame Michael Bisceglia for trying to scam a buck here and there, because people didn't do their homework.

Recently my wife has reconnected with a cousin and they have become good friends. The cousins husband collects Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. We are invited to a barbecue at their house and we will give him a model 1957 Corvette from Stauer.
Set up a new account with separate billing and shipping addresses, went to place the order, had the wrong ship address, corrected that, then had to enter the billing address again when entering the card payment. Also not a fan of the shipping cost final add on. (Hopefully attached to this description was the customer service interaction which followed, in which I described the entire issue with their policy).
