Stay away from Beyond the Rack. I had purchased few tops which I had returned because didn't show up as it looked on their site. The sizing was off too. I had credit on my account of $160 which vanished. I called the toll free number provided on the site and was told since the company was bankrupt and bought over by new owners that my credit would not be returned. This is disloyalty. The name of the business is the same! If they bought the company they should also be honoring the old credits on everyone's accounts. Total FRAUD. STAY AWAY!
I recently purchased several items from BTR and have spent several phone calls and too much time trying to straighten out discrepancies. There were two orders already shipped,,, one to the wrong address and the other, a pair of shoes in a bag with one size but the shoes the wrong size. I am currently not impressed with their customer service or the quality of the merchandise. I'm patiently waiting to receive a few other items, one of which I was told last week was there at their distribution center and would be shipped right away but today told that they were not there yet. Hopefully I will get satisfaction with the forth coming orders but until then I am joining the ranks of the naysayers for BTR. Also customer service... Try being more courteous to your customers... It's a big turn off. You have your money for all of my orders sooo please send "all" of my merchandise.
Order Process Length: 5 Weeks & 5 Days (from placing order to receiving)*
Customer Service: Non-existent. I spoke to one of their customer service agents via Live Chat when the order didn't ship out at the date THEY provided me at check out. She explained would get back to me with an estimated ship date. I still have not received that courtesy check up.
Overall: I only glanced at Beyond the Rack because an e-mail informed me I had obtained a $20 credit. I happened to find a product I was using at a steal of 3 for $15 (Reg. $15 each) and placed an order. Given it took over a month to even ship my order from their company and the negative reviews found here, I shouldn't have considered it!
Not only does this company not deliver on timebut that is the least of their problems. The items do notvremotely match the description or pictures and the quality is equal to a child sewing doll clothes by hand out of rags. I have never been so shocked in my life. I should have read reviews before ordering. I spent $150 and cannot afford to be cheated and lied to. I also do not have energy to fight them. Just DONT DO IT!
If BTR has not delivered your product or have forced a credit vs. refund on an item they have not delivered you can log a dispute with your credit card company. I did this on a Celine bag that was ordered in April and they claimed they did not have. They issued store credit and stopped answer my emails. They also would not let me talk to any kind of manager. MasterCard offers 100 days protection and I believe Paypal offers 180. All you do is call them with the purchase date and expected delivery date and they will refund your money. BTR has 45 days to challenge and the only way they can do this is if they can prove you received the item.
I've been trying for the last two months to get my money back.
They don't answer me. It's ridiculous.
I will keep contact them everyday until they F*cking refund me.
I've ordered black boots and they sent me pale blue ones.

This is the first time I have order from Beyond the Rack and I will never order anything again from them. I placed my order on March 5th and still to this date have not received my items. I went on the site yesterday and spent an hour on their chat with a rep. Line. The first person took 8 mins to respond to every question I had until I finally gave up. The second person was much quicker, 4 mins response time... lmao! What a joke. While I was waiting for my answers I got on the phone and called them. 1 Hour and 10 mins later I was finally told that my order was returned to them and they had no idea why, my address was correct and there should not have been any problems. Now they are telling me that they will re-ship my order! Wow, does that mean I need to wait another 6 weeks! Never Again! I want my order or Give Me My Money Back!

Similar situation to most here. Basically in a nutshell: purchased an item, waited 2 months, contact them, asked me to wait 2 more weeks, contacted them again 2 weeks later, cancelled order, issued me a CREDIT for THEM not having the product. Still struggling with getting my refund 5 months later. DO NOT purchase from them. Everyone here has warned you.
They tell me the Lost my credit. I have been battling with them for months. Ignorant son of a &**^$#%^. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. They have changed there owners and clearly they don't give a $#*! for customers. Wishing them all the worst that can happen to a cie. The CSR I have spoken with the most times is Johnny. It almost doesn't seem like a real person. BEWARE
I ordered a $120 dress for my daughter, it didn't fit. They said no problem to return. Just pay the $10 shipping and a refund would be made to my credit card.
No refund was given. I paid shipping to return the dress and they said the money would be only a few days. They did confirm they had received the dress. After weeks, then months. No refund and they kept the dress too.
Ordered lady dress for Christmas which took me 2 months to recieve and never got them for Christmas.
Spent $200 and the quality of dress was extremely low!
Based on the instruction in the package I had a year to retune them, i tried calling them and no body would pick up. It took me almost a month to reach them and then they said return policy is changed to one month! And thats because they have changed the ownership and they suddenly changed their return policy from one year to one month without a notice. I will call consumer protection and complain against them. Its all illegal and it should be closed.
Ordered a leather jacket from the site. Came in a reasonable time, but I made a mistake and ordered a jacket that was too small.
Now that I'm trying to get a return label to return the product I'm getting ignored. I sent an email asking to exchange for a larger jacket, that took them 8 days to respond to, in which they said that they can't exchange and can only return for credit, and asked if I wanted a return label. I promptly asked for the return label and now haven't heard anything from them in almost 30 days.
I've since sent several emails as a reply to the message I received, and as a new thread and have heard nothing.
This is guaranteed to be the last item I buy through beyond the rack.
I'll just stick to Amazon from now on.
I've ordered items a few times from beyond the rack. It always comes after the date they said it would. The last i ordered the item was delivered 3 weeks after they had said it would be. I complained and they gave a credit so I had to order from them one more time to use up the credit. Well sure enough the item was suppose to arrive 2 weeks ago and I still haven't got it. They don't even bother to email you and apologize. I will NEVER order from them again!
I ordered a pair of Tom Ford Sunglasses last Jan 31, confirmation email said it will be shipped on Feb 2. Nothing came days after that. Called up customer service and said there was a delay and it will be shipped on March 2! Called again on Mar 9 to track my order and customer service said I should receive it on March 16! This is UNACCEPTABLE! Don't even start explaining to me that its been expedited coz I know what that word means and i know how long it takes to reach the recipient when it's expedited! Keep your $10 gift cert BTR! I'm done with you!

I ordered a Starbucks K-cups back in May. June 2nd I spoke with Jim to ask where my product was. He said it had not left the warehouse yet but would let me know when it did. June 3rd I get an email from Jim stating that they are in transit from the supplier. June 5th I noticed my credit card was charged so I "assumed" that the product was on its' way to me since you are not supposed to charge a card unless the product was sent. June 6th I called and spoke with a very rude "Sam" and I finally asked to speak to a supervisor which put me in touch with "Gabrielle". At this point she told me they need the funds to pay the supplier so the supplier would release the product. Another words. Using my money as sort of a bridge loan. At that point I cancelled my order. They will never get another sale from me. I think their way of doing business has some bad practices.

We charge your card when you order is processed as these orders are placed directly with our suppliers. This is one of the ways we are able to offer you such discounted prices. We only authorize our suppliers to send us their merchandise once the event closes, at which point we know exactly what to order for our membership as a whole.
As a private shopping club, we're ordering select merchandise on our members behalf. Working this way helps us secure great prices and selection for our members on an ongoing basis, which is what BTR is all about.
Upon receipt of your order, our suppliers ship the purchase orders to our warehouse for inspection and inventory confirmation of the merchandise. Once completed, we prepare to ship to our customers.
Typically, we ship out our orders at 2-3 weeks. At times we do run into delays that are uncontrollable with our suppliers but we will always send an email update to let you know that status of your order.

This company is something to behold. As I have read, numerous customers have never received their orders that were promised. But, take it to the next step, the company refuses to refund my money for an article that I ordered and paid for but never received. Their answer to my many many e-mails and telephone calls about getting my money refunded has been to go to my credit card company to get my refund. Why should I do that when it is them that has my money? I asked. Due to circumstances of the change over, so I am told, is the reason they will not refund my money. Yet, when I look at my order status it says it was refunded. So very untrue! This is so unacceptable and I will never ever order from this company again. Absolutely never again.
I have had the worst service with them after 7 weeks of waiting for them to contact me and let me know about the shipping I decided to contact them. To find out that they didn't have supplies left for the order that I made. They never took the time to email me and notify about the problem. What type of service is this?
Beyond the rack is not a good company ,I bought 5 items ,in the 5th May and 9th May, canada post returned all the post parcel, i hope beyond the rack reship all orders, but they just reship 1 pair of sunglasses and refund the cheapest one scarf,the other 3 items they looks like don't known everything, i gave them almost 20 emails, and they looks like don't want to do anything.
This happened to me 2 times that I paid for an item and waited for 2 months to get the item and then Beyond The Rack canceled the order after two or three months with no reason and refunded the money after a long time. So this is the truth behind the scene of this business that they sell items, get the money, invest poor customers money somewhere else for their own benefit and keep many customers waiting for two or three months to ship their items then cancel their purchase with no reason put"item refunded" label on the order on their website and then poor customer wait for another 2 months to get the money back. Actually, they sell one item to many customers and then get hundreds of people's money (imagine at least 100 customers pay $100 each everyday= $10,000 everyday) this is how they make a profit. It is fraud. Stay away from this website.
Finally received a credit on my BTR account, only took over 6 weeks to get it. Haven't signed into my BTR account in a few weeks and was shocked to see they took my credit from my account back. The only thing a rep said via chat was "yes it seems to have disappeared." So a credit that I had to wait so long to get, they took back with no explanation and then was told I have to wait another 48 hours to see it back in my account. This place is a joke!

Answer: Advice: The reviews are truthful. The company was in bankruptcy/receivership and the new owners deleted all the previous credits of customers. Trust them? No. Get your money back and shop elsewhere.
