I ordered a "Giancarlo Bassi Kayleen Handbag" for my wife. We did not receive it within the 6 weeks it was promised. Communications were very difficult. Excuses were many. Finally, about 3 months maybe after ordering, we were told it would be shipping soon, sorry for the delay, and they gave us some kind of credit for another order (right). The handbag has no brand label at all. It is probably a fake. Just stay away from these people.
I used to order great stuff. It was a super site. Niw they haven't been able to supply my last three orders and owe me 500 they won't refund back. Total scam now and I have to go through PayPal and mater card to try to get my money back. Don't shop here. It's a trap.
I ordered " in stock" items about 2 months ago, I e-amiled them and a few days later I got a waybill number that does not exist. How are these guys till in business?
I will definaely dispute the charges... order from China, cheaper with way more integrity..
I have been waiting for ten days to find out when my chair will be shipped. It turns out that the delivery window of November 15 to 20 Was absurd. To date I do not have even have tracking. ( it shows the supplier created a label but it has not moved or changed since November 9). Every customer service individual is surly and tempered with me. Likey because they don't have any information either. This will be my last purchase with BTR. Next time I'll go to UrbanBarn in store... I AM very dissatisfied with the lack of communication. And level of communication from this business to its customers.
I initiated an online complaint over a week and a half ago over a Keurig product that I ordered. It was not as described when I received it. Several times I have tried to escalate my complaint to s Supervisor because the Customer Service Rep was not directly addressing my concerns and giving me the run around. I still have not had my complaint escalated. I've been in Customer Service for over 25 years and I am appalled at the lack of accountability that BTR staff display. I have shopped here for several years and I am fed up. I won't be buying anything online any time soon!
First of all BTR requires weeks/months to get an order since most of their merchandise is coming from China. Secondly, they only give credits if you return an item. Thirdly I had a credit of $75.00 I was trying to use and be done with them. I place an order and was told that it was out of stock, place another order same result. Finally after 2-3 months and several emails. I requested that since they can not fill my order they should just refund my money and I will go away. The reply was they will not refund my money becasue they are new owners of the company and I should contact the Consumer's Affairs.
I was ordered some items from BTR and they twice send me apologize not in Stock.and not cackling my money just gave a credit. And suddenly when I like use this credit it's dissappear.
They really making people angry

Items took forever to come, one time they cancelled my order and did not advise me until 2 months later. I had a credit of $300 plus and one day i logged in and it was gone. I emailed and called multiple times no reply at all. Finally i got a hold of someone there months later and found out the company got bought out and the representative said they saw my credit but would need authorization from a higher up to reinstate within the next 24hours. They obviously never got back to me. When i called back again i was told too bad we cant honor your credit anymore and to make a formal complaint with consumers rights. No warnings, no options, just too bad so sad say goodbye to your money. THIEVESSSSSS!
I clicked on this website from a pop up ad and decided to join. I entered my name and email and on the next page they asked for my aol password! Are these people for real? Who in their right mind would give a company their email password? I won't get back on this website.

Ok so I ordered an item A month ago, was advised that it would be shipped from Oct 9-16th. It didn't happen. So I sent them a first e-mail friday, asking if they knew when it would be shipped. I got no answer other than "we have received your e-mail and customer service will contact you". Sent another one this morning, still nothing. I can understand that there could be some delays, however the customer should be advised... This was my first and last time ordering from them. I shop online ALL THE TIME and I have never seen such poor service and never bought an item to find out it wasn't shipped a month later... Ridiculous.

I ordered a few items from the site recently and had absolutely no issues with ordering, payment, or shipment and receiving my items. I read the fine print to make sure I was aware of how long it would take to recieve my purchase (they are up front about this). I cannot speak to the quality of all of their items or whether they are knock offs as I only ordered a few fabric/metal belts. I do recall ordering a pair of nyla boots from here a few years ago and experienced no problems at that time either. I did have a several weeks wait (3-4 weeks) for the boots. They let me know the progress of my shipment when it shipped. Hope this helps.

I ordered 2 pairs of boots at the end of Nov. The first pair I ordered the wrong size and was very worried I wouldn't be able to fix it etc. But it was no prob to cancel that order then just place a new one. I did have to wait 5 business days for the full refund but whatever, no big deal. The boots took about 2 and a half weeks to get to me, but the website says that shipping takes a bit. I just wanted to leave a GOOD review becayse there is so many bad ones. I had and have had a great experience w Beyond the Rack. I'll definitely use it again. Any questions I had were answered thru facebook or email. And paying 80$ total with shipping Inc os pretty awesome I think. So I give BTR a huge thumbs up!
I reccomend this to all of my friends, several (6) of us use BTR constantly. Due to the nature shipping times are usually long but they tell you that up front. I don't order anything from them that I need over night and I have got some great deals and some of my favorite personal and household items from them. Thanks BTR!
Ordered a dress advertised in one size and received a different(the wrong size). It took seconds for them to charge my credit card when i purchased it but 45 days to get a refund. To make matters worst, I had to pay to ship the dress back to them. Ridiculous!
Today, 12/15/13, I also received an email from this company stating I had a balance of $15 on an account I never opened. In fact, I had never even heard of this company. Smells like a scam to me. When I tried to call the service number, the line was constantly busy.

I bought a celine trapeze. I was so happy at first because the price and shipping are all good!
But I just recently found this Celine is faked! I am so pissed off!
Every Celine bag should have a leather label with the serial number stamped on it. The label should located inside opf the pocket. But I didn't find any label or serial number! And also, the lining is strange too.
I had a live chat with their online customer service, they asked for my order number and said will look into for me, let me wait one moment. And now it has been half an hour, nobody respond!
I will never shop here anymore!
"This company is nothing more then a SCAM! I ordered 2-pack curtain panels and only received half me order, charged the full price. Instead of sending the second panel I was told to return the item, because "it's a known issue with the supplier". They would not send the other half of my order or reimburse me for the half I was overcharged.
This is outrageous, a "known issue" and the company won't even stand behind what they are advertising. If this was a known issue, why was I not informed? Why are these curtains still avaible and advertised as a 2-pack for sale on the website. Lazy costumer service and fraudulent as the company admitted to knowing this would happen! They are in the business to rip people off.
My invoice in the parcel clearly states 2-pack panels, why was it shipped from their warehouse with half the order? They don't read or follow invoices? Buyer beware! SCAM, it's all a scam. Do not waste your time and money. "

Besides the fact that the "estimated shipping time frame" is HIGHLY inaccurate (you can expect your items to ship much after the time frame is over). The customer service is non-existant. I wrote an email 5 days ago requesting to cancel some items ordered, and still have yet to hear back. Previously I wrote customer service regarding some items they refunded because "there was some issue with the supplier" and heard back immediately. Convenient that when I want to cancel some items they would choose not to respond. I'll stick with Zulily.
I have spent well over four thousand dollars at BTR since they opened. I'm in Montreal, wanted to support a local business. It all started to go downhill last summer when I ordered a red Kate Spade handbag for 285$ plus tax and as it turned out it was FAKE. I sent it back and demanded my money back. After weeks I got an email saying I could only receive a BTR credit because the bag according to them is authentic. That exact same bag is now selling for over 480$ on their site! I have lately returned ANYTHING that isn't a known brand. The quality of all other clothing is HORRENDOUS. Most branded clothing, shoes and accessories they receive are factory rejects. Yes if you shop very carefully you might get a 15%-20% deal on something overstocked that is authentic but don't waste your time. Alex if you read this, you are the only good thing going on at BTR, please go work elsewhere as this company is bound to go down in flames.
Apparently, Beyond the Rack has new owners and has deleted all the credits in customers accounts. The name hasn't changed and I was given no notice that I would lose my $101 credit. Not happy and will never do business with them again.
Before you do business with Beyond the Rack please ask yourself if this a fair and ethical business practice and if you comfortable dealing with them.

Answer: Advice: The reviews are truthful. The company was in bankruptcy/receivership and the new owners deleted all the previous credits of customers. Trust them? No. Get your money back and shop elsewhere.
