The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding installation services, product returns, and customer support. Many reviews highlight issues with rushed installations and poor communication, leading to repeated service calls. Customers frequently encounter difficulties with returns and refunds, often citing long wait times and inadequate support from customer service representatives. While the company offers a wide selection of products and some positive experiences with online orders, the overarching sentiment suggests a need for substantial improvements in service reliability and customer care to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Stay far away from this company. Their price match policy is a joke and their customer service is a joke.
I mean well this is a great site and all I had almost everything electronic I had to give it three stars since the prices of always found lower prices but they do have quality merchandise it ships well but again I have to exaggerate the prices you can find them somewhere else unless it is an item that only best buy has.
You can never get tired of going to this store... so many new items to pic from and very helpful staff always!
I bought a 48" Toshiba led T. V. After 2 1/2 weeks, the screen had a purple line top to bottom about 6" from the left side. We tried to take it back. Best Buy has a 2 week money back policy. I missed it by 2 days. They said it wasn't their problem. I had to call Toshiba. The t. V. had a 1 year FACTORY warranty. They wanted me to package the 48" t. V. up, pay for shipping, & send it to California from Alabama. Toshiba would check out the t. V. & let me know within 60 days if they would take responsibility or blame it on me. I chose to keep the t. V., never buy another Toshiba product, never buy anything from Best Buy, & tell everyone I know about my experience.
I find that Best Buy has a good assortment of Computer Monitors and Printer Ink at reasonable prices.
Price is high, you will find better price in any specialized store and the credit card is the worst in the market.
Over priced and not in stock. Hard to find someone to help you on the floor.
Prices are not usually the best (Amazon is better) and stock is inconsistent... sometimes in sometimes not.
Returns are VERY VERY limited and there are NO exceptions. There prices are SO expensive too. Bad business model. I have refused to shop there for ever. Crappy management obviously.
I just keep coming back here when i need something
The transaction appeared to go through at the time, however, got an email requesting validation of info the next day. That's cool. Gave info, but Still hadn't been completed the following morning. Eventually received confirmation ordered had been processed the next day. They actually pulled a credit report on me for a Visa paid $250 microwave. I don't like that. Other entities now assume I have debt with Best Buy. Ugg.
I used to shop at Best Buy all the time. Recently bought a computer for my family. We went on vacation, came back and decided we didn't want it. Not opened or anything. Well their return policy is only 14 days and I was on the 16th day. Terrible service. I will only buy online now.
In my opinion, Best Buy is positively the " bottom of the barrel "as far as electronic stores are concerned. I held 15 minutes to speak with someone in the Geek Squad (an appropriate name). Nobody ever answered the phone - the same thing happened when I called back to speak with a sales person, manager or any HUMAN BEING! I then called the toll free number and finally talked to a knowledgeable individual. After explaining my plight, he called the store number that he had available and, together, we held for one-half an hour with nobody ever answering - only spoke to an automated device. Finally, I suggested that we give up, because I was tired of holding the phone and was ready to prepare dinner. He was very apologetic that he could not assist me further and gave me the number of Executive Offices I plan to call them tomorrow and put in a formal complaint. This entire situation is bordering on the ridiculous. I guess the people at your Veterans Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana store just did not want to work, so they put the phone on robot mode and had a party in the store. I will never purchase anything from Best Buy or any of its affiliates again. They may not need my business, but I surely do not need them. In my opinion, they should go bankrupt. I will purchase any future electronic items from A-1 Appliance.
I will only but my electronics through this store. If I have any problems they bend over backwards to help to resolve the problem
Recently had 2 experiences with sales "associates" at BB:
Told sales person I wanted to get a holder for my TomTom GPS. Guy promptly picked out one that only fit the Garmin. I noticed the pic on the box and found the correct one my self.
Next, went to another BB and asked for an adapter to fit an older monitor to a newer computer. Salesperson showed me the one they had-it didn't look right, so asked one of their
"geek squad" if there was any other option. He promptly sold me a $49.99 gadget for connecting extra monitors. Of course it did not work. Spent hours on line finding the correct connector-finally did-for $4.95.
Great open box bargains. Credit Card has good bonuses. Geek Squad free assessments helpful. Wish they would ditch Verizon.
I have bought electronics, WD Hard Drives. Great service. Excellent prices. Fast and efficient, knowledgeable. Fast delivery to your door.
Answer: I am sure there is a catch-like a 2 year contract. No one gives you a phone for $1
Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
Answer: Great question. Let us know if you were able to get reimbursed.
Answer: I chose Best Buy tech support because they seemed to offer a good deal on support and I bought my products there. I'll go elsewhere now.
