I needed a needed a new printer. Geek Squad recommended one while sitting in front of my computer and the old printer. I could not use it because I did not have BlueTooth. My brother returned it and got me a different one (both Canon). This one was recommended by the store personnel. It was the crappiest piece of plastic I ever hope to see. It jammed constantly so he tried to return it. Best Buy refused to do anything. My dear brother has wasted hours of his valuable time. He was told to contact Canon for return mailing instructions. I am handicapped so I cannot deal with this by myself. I am now the happy owner of a HP -- from Staples. Next up -- a Canon complaint.
If you're going to take 3 hours to fulfill an in store pickup order, don't say it's guaranteed in an hour. Just say how long things will actually take, pretty simple, just don't lie to your customers.
Their easy return policy gives you the confidence to make the purchase and the ease to return it if it doesn't work.
Their prices are always the best, or at the bare minimum extremely competitive, as well.
I've always been a fan of Best Buy, and even recently I just ordered and online item for in-store pickup, and it went really smooth, also I love the merchandise and the prices, very competitive.
Overall, you can't go wrong with Best Buy, they're great!
Best Buy exceeds my expectations EVERY time! I can not say enough about their sales techs. There has never been a time that I have went in with a question that they have not taken the time to explain something thoroughly, It's as if I am the only one they need to help at that time when clearly there are many others. The Geek Squad! OMG... wonderful! Personable, easy going, explains everything. Can you tell that I love Best Buy. Did I say that yet? I Luuuuuv Best Buy.
On November 27,2015 a great printer for a great price was ordered. Only a few left. Decided too good a deal, ordered 2 more for my daughters. Within an hour, one was cancelled--none in stock. Three (3) days later, second one was cancelled--none in stock. Today, December 10,2015, 13 days later the last one was cancelled; the reason--processing error. I called the store the same day I originally ordered the printers and the store customer service person said the items offered were not available in the local stores and had not been for a while--they (Best Buy) were having difficulty with the online sales because of heavy volume. You would have thought they would have been prepared for the one thing that was exactly what they wanted--HIGH VOLUME!
I really loved this place, and could not believe that I had never been before! The food and spicy chicken curry, this is delicious food service and also responsible catering services, was excellent. There were some tasteful, appetizers delicious food menus selections on the coromandel cuisine menu that I don't see on every other Indian restaurant's menu. We really enjoyed everything about our meal
Have not yet had a bad purchase from Best Buy. Purchased a microwave and computers from them. When I've had computer problems have taken back for service and the price for the work done was reasonable. Things that I have taken back for exchange were done without squabble. That's the way I like it.
We bought a range from Best Buy specifically because we were told they could deliver it Wednesday. We received a call at 3:30, they would be late, about 3 hours. Four hours later, no range and no phone call, so we called the store. "Oh, they had to reschedule your delivery." Nobody called us. They didn't seem to see a need to let us know. Another call to Best Buy and we were told they would reschedule us... for Saturday... maybe! They couldn't schedule us for Friday because they had a full schedule of deliveries... wait, what? We're wondering why, if they couldn't deliver our range today, why are they not making us a priority on the next working day? But they're not. They don't seem to care. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. They don't care. They did offer us $25 for our trouble, but my husband took off the entire afternoon to be here for the delivery. They don't care. Best Buy may have some great deals, but if you're looking to get something delivered on time, don't hold our breath.
Bought a total tech support plan, only to find out what I needed they didn't do, after being told they did. Then they just refunded it without even trying to help. Called the number 'for the store', to get transferred to some call center. Was transferred by one person from the call center to the store, and talked to an employee who seemed helpful, but when I asked for her name, she hung up. Tried to call back and now was told, they could not transfer to the store. So Best Buy is so untechy that they cannot even transfer a call. You cannot call your local store. They tell you that their total tech does all this stuff until after you buy, then says it doesn't. Don't bother with Best Buy. They are the Worst Buy, and don't even have enough sense to know it.
I bought a 48" Toshiba led T. V. After 2 1/2 weeks, the screen had a purple line top to bottom about 6" from the left side. We tried to take it back. Best Buy has a 2 week money back policy. I missed it by 2 days. They said it wasn't their problem. I had to call Toshiba. The t. V. had a 1 year FACTORY warranty. They wanted me to package the 48" t. V. up, pay for shipping, & send it to California from Alabama. Toshiba would check out the t. V. & let me know within 60 days if they would take responsibility or blame it on me. I chose to keep the t. V., never buy another Toshiba product, never buy anything from Best Buy, & tell everyone I know about my experience.
I never received my order that was supposed to be delivered in a few days. I followed up after almost. 2 weeks and saw that someone from Shipt picked up the order to deliver and then canceled it two days later. Absolutely no communication about this from Best Buy. I have done a few chat supports to resolve this and get my order through store pick up and keep being told a later and later timeline for reviving a confirmation email that would allow me to pick up my items in the store. I can't believe they are able to run a "business" like this. Quite honestly it feels like a complete scam at this point.
I ordered a computer from Best Buy. It cost $1760. After a month I still have not received anything. Apparently Purolator has it, but for some reason they won't deliver it. Maybe they lost it? I contacted Best Buy about the problem. They said I could get a refund, but not until Purolator delivers the computer back to Best Buy. I need the money to order a computer from someone else. Why should I have to wait for Purolator to deliver the computer to Best Buy. I have been waiting a month for Purolater to deliver it to me. It is not my problem if Best Buy ever gets their property back. They are the ones that chose to give it to Puro-later in the first place. Best Buys business practices should not be legal. If they are, that is.
Ordered a washer(stackable), they said best buy didn't provide us so we can't do anything and just left a washer in the garage and gone! All they had to do is that just swipe a old washer to new washer(same stacking kit) since it's the same brand!
Bought a Samsung phone and service contract. 2 weeks later, the software had an issue and needed a reset. I took it into the Geek Squad desk and they said they no longer work on Samsung phones and would only mail it to the Samsung factory if I paid them $80 in advance and it would take "A couple weeks" to get it back. I later found out on my own there was a Samsung service center in the area and they fixed it while I waited in warranty at no charge. Best Buy was trying to scam me out of $80. I went back to Best Buy asking for a full refund of this service contract purchased only 2 weeks ago which they are obviously not honoring. The offered me only a small portion of what I paid for this scam of a service plan/contract or whatever it is. I ended up never getting a penny of the $110 I paid. They kept telling me to look at the fine print on the contract.
I was extremely enthusiastic when I saw the trailer and I bought it immediately.
However now, I find it too fancy and not realistic anymore. By far, COD 3 Ghosts is the most real experience and I can not get out of it, even after more than 6500 escouade vs. escouade fights!
As in some other similar stores - the shworoom really rocks! You can come and hold/test/consult about everything, so when you decide on the purchase - you already know what you`re buying! And then its time to search for the best price and the most reliable shop for you.

We bought a 65in tv and scheduled it to be delivered on January 2. It's now January 8 and Best Buy has decided to cancel our delivery twice. The second time they didn't even tell me it was cancelled, they just never showed up. I called their customer service line and they refused to make good on the delivery. They also refused to give me a refund so I can't go somewhere else to buy a tv. They also refused to reschedule my delivery until they get the tv back to their warehouse, after arbitrarily deciding to not deliver it. They also refused to let me speak to a manger, saying I have to wait for them to call me. Truly a frustrating experience.
The only site which cannot be beaten on a electronic purchase due to its lowest price offered. In case if you find a better price somewhere else which I bet you cannot unless you are a Costco/Sams/BJ member like me, still bestbuy does a price match for you which no other retailer does!
Over an hour and on hold again trying to talk to a supervisor of customer service. I ordered a product at the store that had to be shipped to me. 5 days later it is returned to the warehouse 2 states away. No calls, no emails. I called several times to customer service to have the product reshipped to me. Cut off at one point waiting for a supervisor. I called back, half an hour and still trying to get the issue resolved. This will be my last try using Best Buy. So much for the brick and morter stores. It is Ebay.com or Walmart.com. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service.
Answer: I am sure there is a catch-like a 2 year contract. No one gives you a phone for $1
Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
Answer: Great question. Let us know if you were able to get reimbursed.
Answer: I chose Best Buy tech support because they seemed to offer a good deal on support and I bought my products there. I'll go elsewhere now.

Answer: Write a genuine review for a product you buy from there, get upto $25 gift certificate
The company's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding installation services, product returns, and customer support. Many reviews highlight issues with rushed installations and poor communication, leading to repeated service calls. Customers frequently encounter difficulties with returns and refunds, often citing long wait times and inadequate support from customer service representatives. While the company offers a wide selection of products and some positive experiences with online orders, the overarching sentiment suggests a need for substantial improvements in service reliability and customer care to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
