I ordered a gift from the wedding registry to bed bath and beyond. I never been so disappointment to any store as bad as this time. Tonight, I received the package that I ordered since I had to return the 1st one due to damaged box (you cannot gift it, it's embarrassing) It's in a box but they packaged it in the plastic bag. Why? That's a box then it should be in the box. Tonight, it's the same thing! It was shipped in a bag! So... Of course the box is ruined and worse thing my item is broken (mini food processor). Now, I don't have a gift on time for the couple. Thanks to you BED BATH AND BEYOND I'm having to return it again for the 2nd time around. I have been dealing with this 1 item for more than a month! This will be my last trip to the store. You just lost another customer. I am super disappointed and very unsatisfied with this purchase. Shipping is way too long, wrong packaging and broken item. What else could go wrong!
I purchased 2 queen beauty rest mattresses from Bed Bath online 9/5/2020 items were in stock and delivery on or before 9/15/2020. It's now 10/8/2020 and still no date on delivery. I spent hours on the phone with customer service only to be told they can't and won't do anything. I explained I have kids sleeping on floor and ordered based on delivery date. The refuse to cancel order and issue a credit.
They don't care about the customer period. Do not but from them several stores sell the same products with people that care about getting you your product.
Beware if you buy.
I placed an order for a comforter set on 9/3/2020 and it "shipped" on 9/5. Great service, right? Well on 9/16 I still hadn't received my order so thought I'd track it again to determine what happened. The tracking number came up "waiting carrier pick up". Frustrated I contact Bed Bath & Beyond and couldn't believe it took over an hour of god awful hold music to get someone on the line. Someone based in the Philippines who I could barely understand and ended up repeating what she said and what I was saying. In the end she said she would check the warehouse and send an email. She did none of those things and the next day I called and again went though the same only this time suggesting they place a new order and have it ship 2-day via FedEx. That didn't happen and on about the 18th I called and this time waited 45 minutes, I asked for a refund. The man from the Philippines (I asked where he was located because it's very difficult to communicate) said he would process the refund and I should see it back on my card in 2-3 days. Today is 9/22 and I've contacted my bank to dispute the charge because I have yet to see my refund. I'm done with Bed Bath & Beyond and will NEVER do business with them again. It's absolutely terrible customer service and even upon an attempt to contact their corporate offices I was hung up on before I could speak to a person. Sheesh, thanks to Chase Bank I will receive my money back.
I bought something online with BBB & I now wish I hadn't! I have had ongoing problems logging in to their site. One time my credentials work another time the same ones don't. I have had trouble seeing where my item, which cost a lot, is in the process. It has just been frustrating & I wish I hadn't haven't done this. The email they give you to check on the status of your order is a non-working email address. I will never make the mistake of doing business with them again. It has been a frustrating experience.
Zero stars. Basically stole $500 from me for a bed I ordered and they never delivered. I sit on hold for an hour every time I call and they give me the run around. Gonna have to sue I guess. Will NEVER trust BBB again!
And for 4 days there is no answer to mail or phone.no chat. Only. These good reviews are contradicted to the reviews in trust pilot and others
I purchased a gift for a bridal shower. The gift arrived at the bride's home without gift wrapping or a card. I took the time to write a personal message but it was never received and they did not know who sent the gift. It was only by coincidence that I was identified as the sender. It's impossible to contact customer service. They only provide a phone number that no one ever answers.
Package got delayed almost 20 days and it took 1hr 30min to get connected with customer service and they initiated refund and offered 20 percent off which is available for free to every one. I will never order anything online with Bed Bath & Beyond. Writing review because it might save some time for others good luck.
Martini glasses thrown in a box with no packing. Fortunately none broken. Two hand towels ordered were thrown in the box., no tags, obviously used, returned or who knows where they were from. Will never buy there again.
Never received product. Asked for refund. Customer service stated they would refund money within 3-5 business days. That was 5 days ago. They owe me $45.34. Said now I have to wait 10 days for money. Reported them to the Better business bureau and the New York State Attorney General.
Since the 13th I have tried multiple times after holding on the phone for more than 4 hours and not being able to cancel through internet because of lack of employees I was told that I surpassed the 15-minute window?. How can one cancel an order when you can't reach anyone by phone for hours or email. The next day I tried again by Tech and I literally kept getting texts over and over from 12:30 in the afternoon until almost midnight at night I was assured that the situation was handled at that time but I have yet to receive my refund my order was $154 and some sins and I received a $26 refund. This is Ludacris and I have never heard of a business that cannot be reached online and then to take 3 days of waiting in excess of 15 hours to resolve a problem is unacceptable. It would not surprise me if Bed Bath & Beyond does not go bankrupt very quickly.
Ordered a cool lamp online but packaging was unprofessional and disgusting. Ordered it along with another product and Instead of you guys using a separate box you open the lamp box and placed it inside. For this, i'm NEVER shopping here online again.
This is not the first time but the fourth time I've had an issue with an online order which for me it's a waste of money because I have to Uber back to return it and then Uber back home. This is a real disappointment especially for me because I joined the Bed Bath and Beyond membership club which I paid for. Free shipping does not mean send it to customers any kind of way!
THEN, when I did get the box opened the lampshade was cracked and the lamp was very rusted in certain places. I'm just gonna keep it because again it's gonna cost me more than what I pay for the lamp to return it. I don't have the time and energy anymore to go back-and-forth with this company. I've even tried to call and I was on hold for four hours. SAD
I placed an order then had questions about the order. I e-mailed but they sent an e-mail back saying they aren't responding to e-mails, just texts and phone. It took forever to find the phone number to call, only to be told that my wait time was over an hour. I hung up after one hour, forty minutes as no one had answered. So much for customer service.
This is one of the go to place when I need something stylish for my home. Their collection is huge, and the prices are reasonable.
I ordered 7 baskets and paid for 7 baskets. Received my order with only 6 baskets enclosed. I thought it would be a simple fix. Call customer service but can't get through to anyone. Have currently been waiting on hold for 1 hour and was told the wait was 30 mins. I found a customer chat window and 'missing items from order' isn't an option and there is a 4 1/2 hour wait for that. They offer text help and that wait is 7 hours?/. It's (Bed, Bath &) BEYOND frustrating! I get that times are more challenging with Covid but in this instance, it's more of an excuse for extremely negligent poor customer service. They took my order and my money within seconds and yet there is no one to help me with their mistake! I will NEVER give them my business again. At some point, I've got to let go of the missing basket because my time is much more valuable.
I ordered a kitchen knife set for my mother for her new remodeled home/kitchen. I made a mistake with the shipping address and cancelled within 5 minutes. Went back and reordered and it's being 5 days and not only the order has not shipped, but the money for the cancelled order is not on my account. I am trying to reach customer service and the wait is between 45-60 minutes. I used to buy from them. But I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN.
I purchased 3 of the same items on July 19th. On July 21st, they were delivered. Once the boxes were checked, I realized they sent me three of the incorrect items. In fact, they were not even close to what was on my receipt. I immediately made them aware explained that these items were needed for an event on August 1st. I did order the correct items, Bed, Bath, and Beyond made the mistake. Customer service told me I needed to return the items before they could send my correct items. I'm not sure how me fixing their mistake was priority, especially since they had my money. But they sent me a return label, and I put those labels on all three boxes and put out front. They were supposed to pick up that Monday, but they were still on my front porch when I got home from work. I called on Tuesday and they said they would come on Wednesday. All boxes were out there all day. When I returned from work, one box was gone and two were still left on the front porch. Needless to say I still to this day have not received my items that I needed yesterday. I'm currently on hold trying to fix their mistake AGAIN! And have been on hold for 1 hour and 17 minutes. I need everyone to know how frustrating this company can be. My daughters college registry was also with them, for this same event, and she has only received two of the 13 items purchased from people. If you can find your items somewhere else, you are better off. I work 50-60 hours a week and do not have time for this inconvenience. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, just avoid or go in person.

Do not EVER order store pick up. In fact I would avoid this store in Poughkeepsie in general charged me for two orders because they neglected my comment and was charged twice. Contacted better business and it will stick to the website! Heave my advice and shop online. They did NOTHING to try to make up what happened
I am waiting over 10 days for them to say my order has been shipped. Then, after hours of trying to talk to someone, they said, "Sorry, I don't know what you want from me"... terrible customer service! They never notified me to tell me my order was out of stock. Then I am dealing with a customer service representative. Never order things from here again! These are scammers.
Answer: It's not hard to get them on the line, but they are all foreign so they didn't understand exactly what I was talking about

Answer: Bed Bath & Beyond is a scam! They took my money and NEVER sent my order and won't give me a refund! The worste online shopping experience I have ever had!
