I ordered an eighteen inch (18») vanity light from this company. On the site it says the light comes in three (3) different sizes. When I tried to place the order I couldn't check a box for the appropriate size that I wanted. I contacted them via chat and asked about that, and I was told to send a note with my order to specify the size I wanted to order!
It took two (2) months for my order to arrive. When I opened the box to my surprise they shipped me a sixteen inch (16) stubby light vs the eighteen inch (18) light that I ordered. When I contacted them about this, it was then I was told that this item only comes in one (1) size!
I contacted them and, their only offer is for me to keep the item at a reduce price or, I HAVE TO PAY TO RETURN THE ITEM TO THEM!
It would appear this company is notorious for the bait and switch tactic. They are falsely advertising their products and then they want to hold the customer liable for it!

I found some lights online and didn't realize that this company wasn't based in the US. I ordered the lights when the company was offering free shipping and they charged me 50 dollars shipping anyway. I contacted them and got no response. It took almost 2 months for the lights to come in and after inspecting them, they were horribly made. The lights were stained glass and there were gaps between the glass and the metal on all 3 lights. On top of that, when the electrician came to install them, he actually refused to because the hardware was so flimsy, he didn't feel that they were safe. I contacted the company and they told me that they didn't receive similar complaints and the only thing they would replace were the globes AFTER I sent them pictures multiple times. They also continually requested pictures of the box. Obviously trying to blame their substandard product on the shipping company. I repeatedly requested a refund and offered to send the products back and what I was told was that their customer service policy was that I had to pay return shipping and they would refund 5 percent of the sale. FIVE PERCENT! They sent new globes which were better than the ones prior but the hardware is still junk.
Needless to say, I found better lights on Amazon for a better price and one of the was broken when it got here. I called the company and they overnighted a new one that day. No hassle, no emails back and forth, no pictures. Just excellent customer service!
Seriously, save yourself the headache and junky products and just check Amazon. I wish i had started there. I still have these lights sitting in a box because i will have to pay to send them to the dump. So it's going to actually cost me more money to get rid of them!
I'm an online shopper, and I've bought from these people three times, the first two sucked, but I managed. The third time, ill never do it again. I ordered a jacket, a cardigan and high-waisted pants. They first emailed me saying that the jacket I wanted was out of stock, and I had to pick a new color. I was upset, but managed, and finally, they got her, after a month or so. And the pants I ordered, weren't them. I ordered ones with the knees cut out and detailed. The ones I received were plain high-waisted pants. And the worst part is, there was no button hole, I was flabbergasted, as they had the hem all sewn around where the button would go, but no hole. And I emailed them, saying I wanted the correct pants, but they are only offering me a 20% refund and told me I could find a local place to fix them and it wasn't a big deal. And I called them out on their crappy service, as they are so proud to flaunt their "good" service. I'm never shopping here again. Don't be and idiot, and save your money, seriously, even if you buy the same thing, but for a lot more, your better off.
Update: Their sending me the correct jeans, but won't take the old jeans back for some reason... I don't know what's up with this website. And I'm not even sure if they will send me the jeans, or just say they will to shut me up. The thirteen days are over anyway, so theirs nothing I can do now. Except warn all you to stay away from here. It's to good to be true, don't order from here. And something I noticed on there site, their are no bad reviews. Any time I review something it never seems like it goes up, and they keep up their stupid starter graph. They have it set up to where only good reviews can be left, this website is a scam their after your money, nothing else.

I purchased a orange color hoodie sweater and they sent an orange. They kept arguing I made the mistake and they can't fix the issue.
I purchased 3 "light fixtures" from this China-based online company. Two of the fixtures arrived requiring total assembly. I mean total assembly. It was a six pendant light. Each wire had to be attached individually to the base. Unbelievable. There were no instructions. I emailed back and forth for days only to be told "just attach the wires to any other wire, the colors don't matter". My electrician (yes, you will need one.) indicated that the wires should not be interchangeable but he will figure it out. The second fixture was a sconce made of very cheap resin, not metal as indicated. The third fixture was advertised as a 14 bulb pendant and was pictured and described as having bulbs, but was sent with none. I only bought the fixture because it came w/ the "Edison" bulbs which would have cost $7ea in the U.S., so this was a good deal -so I thought. I would not have bought it if the bulbs were not included. I emailed and asked where they were. I was told it didn't come with bulbs and was referred to the recently changed product photo/description. Luckily I had a screen shot of the photo/description at the time that I ordered my item. After I sent it to them w/ an email demanding my bulbs, or postage to send the item back, I was ignored. After several unanswered emails, I opened a dispute w/ Capital One. Only THEN, did B. Halo offer to send the bulbs if I closed the dispute. I refused to close the dispute until I received the bulbs. In the meantime, Cap1 reversed the charges. B. Halo then somehow had my card re-charged for the original amount and still did not deliver the bulbs. I am in credit card dispute hell now and still have not gotten what I paid for.

I found beautiful halo from facebook actually. I found a shirt I loved but it was the only one I liked and I didn't want to order too much because of the chinese/american size difference. I ordered on September 26th. I paid with paypal so it had already come out of my account. I wait a couple of weeks since it takes a while to come from china. After no shipping email, I emailed them and they responded back that my item would ship out on Oct. 20th. The 19th comes around and they send me an email saying they are out of stock and they will give me ONLY an exchange and 5% off. They really emphasized that it would only be a exchange. I then did a lot of research on this company and they do this a lot and tell people they can only exchange. I guess not a lot of people know they can get their money back... I'm glad I paid with paypal so I would not have to take a trip up to my bank where they would treat me like I stole the money. I opened a dispute in paypal and immediately got on email from bh telling me they would give a full refund if I closed the dispute. That was a HUGE flag for me. Once the dispute is closed you can't open it again and they most like would not have given a refund anyways. I escalated it up to a case since technically asking to close the dispute is illegal. It pays to know these kinda of things. I provided the emails to paypal and they made a judgement really quick and I got my refund. Will not go back to that site. After they saw I escalated it up to case they actually sent me a very bad worded email. But hey I got my money back... please do your research before you order from chinese websites. If you have to order from china go through ebay or amazon or always use your paypal. Your always backed that way. If i had closed the dispute, I'm 100% positive they would ceased contact and keep the money for themselves. That's not how it should be. If I pay for an item and you don't delivery, then it's only fair and right that I received a full refund. I don't get how so many people don; t get that. Oh and all the positive reviews are actually done by the site.

Answer: I charged mine on my AMEX card as they will protect you, so the chargeback worked BUT now they are calling me daily, 3 months later, to return the dress. I have heard this is a nightmare as they want you to send it back to china at a huge posted cost. Can't win with HALO!
