Scam site from China
August 27, 2025

Scam site, do not order from here. First and last time I do business with them. Ordered an ebike, before the first delivery attempted UPS received request to return product to sender. Banggood plays dumb and currently is in the possession of my money and my product, their costumer support does not provide a solution, it's been weeks now and all I receive is an automated message that I should be patient.

Very bad experience. I have ordered a speaker from them 2 months ago (order number *******) and it was promised that it will arrive between may 8th to 18th. The speaker never arrived and the tracking info isn't updated for a very long time, making it clear that the package has been lost. I have been asking my money back with it for a whole month and today (June 8th) they have replied to me the same generic answer that they have replied to my previous messages - that they still didn't get a response from the carrier and that i should wait more (!). Seems like i will get this message even if i'll contact them again in the year of 2030 about this order. I advise not buying from this store. Every item exists in the major marketplaces, and the other websites and marketplaces offer protection if item doesn't arrive.
Don't endanger your money and nerves with this fishy website. You won't get any help if something happens.

I purchased a refurbished laser engraver from Banggood, and it arrived missing essential parts (tools, SD card, metal plate, power supply) and with a broken air assist unit. One of the rails was also mechanically defective. Despite sending detailed photos, videos, and explanations, Banggood kept stalling for weeks, blaming their supplier instead of owning the issue. They even requested a serial number from a different brand than the one I bought. They offered me a tiny refund (~$25) for over $100 worth of missing or broken items. After almost a month of back-and-forth, they still failed to resolve anything. I'm now forced to initiate a chargeback through my bank. This was a huge waste of time. If you value your money, avoid Banggood at all costs.

Defective product, poor customer service, PayPal dispute required. I purchased an ANGWATT F1 electric scooter (48V – 18.2Ah – 1000W) on Banggood.
After only a few uses, the scooter started displaying multiple critical errors (E2, E3, E5, E6), with abnormal voltage fluctuations, and then stopped powering on completely. I contacted customer support and provided all requested evidence. The seller offered spare parts to install myself (display, controller, throttle), along with 1000 store points equivalent to 10 USD. No serious solution was provided despite a clear and major defect on a brand-new product.
I had no choice but to open a dispute through PayPal to request a refund. I strongly advise against buying from Banggood. Products are unreliable, and the after-sales service does not take responsibility in case of serious issues.

I ordered a drone and it arrived on time but there was an issue with the controller. It wasn't charging properly. I contacted their support and while it took a few tries to get a clear response, they offered a refund after a couple of weeks. I wish the communication was faster

I was really excited to buy from banggood after seeing so many good deals but I had an issue with my sunglasses, it was broken. The customer service was a nightmare. They kept asking for photos and didn't seem to care much about resolving the issue quickly.

I paid for the product and all associated costs (including shipping, insurance, and any other fees) according to your terms. The problem is that you failed to fulfill the order, and instead of honoring your obligations, you prolonged the situation, likely hoping I would cancel the order myself. When it became clear that you would lose money on this transaction, rather than protect your reputation by shipping the item, you kept delaying it, forcing me to wait almost 3 months before refunding me with a smile and an insincere apology.

My review will help other buyers make informed decisions and avoid falling into the same trap. It's clear that in your effort to attract more customers, Banggood frequently lowers prices to unsustainable levels and then fails to meet its commitments. This dumping policy not only deceives customers but also takes away 10-15% of business from honest platforms that transparently display all costs.

Such behavior should not go unnoticed, and my experience will serve as a warning for others not to give chances to fraudulent practices.

I would not recommend Banggood

I would not recommend Banggood for two main reasons:

1. While they claim to accept returns for any reason, they don't disclose in their terms that you have to send the item back to China, pay the large freight bill and Chinese import duties. Of course, few people will want to return their purchases under these circumstances.
2. They make it almost impossible to contact customer service. On their website they only give you a few choices in which you may contact them, but often none of those choices applies to your situation.

There really is no point and buying from them, because most of the items are available through US sellers (e.g. Amazon) that have better return policies and Customer Service.

Ordered an RC airplane. Arrived in a timely maner.
However, when assembling the parts, I found one servo not functioning properly, which would have resulted in a crash. Tried to get the company to okay a return / refund, without success. Finally went through dispute process with PayPal.
Finally, BangGood agreed to refund - only if I box, pay postage and ship to China. I am sure that will be costly, and time consuming. I don't feel I am responsible for any expenses since the product is defective. It is obvious BangGood wants to make returns difficult enough so many will give up on returns.
I would advise caution and be aware if something isn't right, be ready to do battle...

Yet another automated faceless corporation

Their publicity states that dispatches from the EU occur within 2 days, this is not true, I ordered 10 days ago and my order still hasn't been dispatched, I have contacted customer services 3 times and I am fobbed off with the same excuses every time, that they are working on it and that I will hear from them within 24 hours, I hear nothing, it is lies, lies, lies, I cannot wait at home indefinitely,How long does it take to process an order? They are not honest!

Bad customer service

I made a purchase from this particular website which turned out to be a bad purchase. I purchased a mobile phone device which upon arrival appeared to be defective. It wasn't charging. No matter how many hours I left the mobile phone charging, it showed no indication of charging and no indication of operation. I spoke directly to Banggood customer service staff opening a ticket and the process ticked for days until the ticket was automatically closed without any help. Now I have opened another ticket and they have started telling me the same things they said to me in the first ticket before it was closed. The first ticket was closed because their last reply was: "we will update for you as soon as possible, please wait patiently" and I was just waiting... As you can see, the company in question has bad service and is fooling the customer by giving them fake hopes that he will answer him soon and this never happens until days pass and the ticket is automatically closed.

Be very wary

Be very wary, what you order you may receive something very different. I have been sent an item completely different to what is advertised. I ordered a mini roof cover, not a full cover for a large car which I was sent. When I contacted for a replacement for correct item or refund, they asked me to send sku number by mail. I emailed instead and their response was correct sku! But the item does not match what is shown in the ad or what I purchased. They have not offered refund or replacement.

Bought a smartwatch and realized after it was sent no chance of cancellation. When the package finally arrived I contact Banggood for a return label. Package never opened still in its original packaging. I followed their return policy knowing I would pay for the return postage. Jumped through all their hoops!
Took pictures of the unopened package and filed the request. They agreed to the return, that was 2 weeks ago. One excuse after another. Said they are waiting for a third party approval. I think this is their game plan. They try to wear you down and hopefully you'll go away. If it takes this long to get a return label that I never got to this date, how long will it take to get a refund? Refund? Slim to none! I'll take the hit! The watch is fine it didn't have the feature I was looking for. Unfortunately I found that after I placed my order.
Worst online retailer I have ever experienced!

I bought battery operated chainsaw that arrived with two batteries. After 8 hrs of attempting to charge those batteries they wouldn't charge. Reached to banggood for return and refund they started to ask me to perform all kind of tests and requested I should have some special tools which I didn't have. They even asked to find someone who may have such tool to help me with the test which I told I don't have anyone to help me. They refused to take the item back and suggested to refund me about 40%. This is a scam they sent out a defective product they refused to take back and would not issue a full refund. Be aware of these folks they will be happy to take your money and they are at no obligation to honor their written commitments. They keep writing back and forth with the hope you go away or get tired and accept the minimum so be aware.

Update still no response from Banggood they hope you settle for less than a full refund even you provided them with proof that their batteries are defective. No they want me to take partial refund and buy batteries. This company is an absolute scam. They claim they have a refund policy and when you follow through as indicated by their own written policy they don't come through. Do waist your time and money on this company. I know it's tempting to buy from them but when things go wrong you are very much on your own.

Sending faulty product

Another cheap chinese company sending faulty product. Pathetic customer service, ticket no **************086, order no *******, paypal case id PP-R-GUH-******* i orderd a watch which was faulty, it had a screw missing and its not charging up, when i try to return it, their pathetic customer service did't listen, and thier fraud paypal partners are also supporting them, by not listening to the customer feedback, i lost usd 37.15 to them, request you to don't lose your hard earned money to these frauds

Bad customer service

As soon as the order was received, we opened the package and saw that the product was missing from the manufacturer\'s packaging. We received an empty package without the product.
After properly informing customer service, I opening a ticket, they wanted to avoid the hassle and put me through a time consuming and complicated process because they don't want to lose their money.
Based on the video I took and recorded the moment when I open my package and it is clearly visible an empty package, without the product inside, I could also assume different things about the photo they showed me as proof that the product was inside the package. The conclusion is yours to make.
