I ordered two posters and paid the expedited two day delivery for $15. When three days passed with no delivery I called Customer Service. I was told the product had to be prepared and delivery would be two days after that. Looking at the website, it says very clearly that processing time is 5-7 days and expedited delivery is 2-3 days after shipment. The reality was preparation time of 8 days and an estimated shipping delivery date of 9 days. I like their art, but very irritated by this deception.
Although, I haven't received my very first order from Art.com, I am irritated that the delivery time takes so long. I placed my order on 7/6/2020 and the delivery date is estimated to be 7/18/2020. Not happy.
ACK! Doesn't remember/expired by password. Sign up with new password. ERROR! Sign in with FB, doesn't have any of my past orders, try again...ERROR! Going to Hobby Lobby. Forget it.
Use them if you want to be e-mail spammed and cookied forever. The unsubscribe button has no effect, and direct appeals to customer (non) service are politely ignored. Zero regard for customer privacy. Too bad, because the product I purchased was quite satisfactory.
I tried to order asthma inhalers at Walmart site and received a receipt for three pictures of the medicine
Instead of the medicine. To cancel the order was a hopeless maze that never offered a "cancel" option. Quickly froze my credit care.
Can't believe all the negative reviews! I have gotten several pictures from them over the past two years and all have been high quality and just as ordered.
I would highly recommend using this site to get reasonably priced, high quality pictures!
Waiting more than 2 weeks for the order to come. After one week from estimated delivery date tried to communicate with art.com via live chat, unfortunately, support staff was rude, not qualified and responded with general answers. I was told PayPal payment didnt go through. I checked - it actually did. Got back to art.com, now they were saying the order had been put on hold by some verification reasons. I said - okay, but instead of waisted 2 weeks waiting, art. Com may at least have notified about it. Plus during this period delivery address had been changed, and I asked whether it is possible to change it. Answer was - no. I wondered for a good reason for that since order has not been shipped yet anyway. But unfortunately received no answer.
This was my first order with art.com I still have not received. I am afraid I am not coming back. This messy way of doing business is not the perfect for attracting new customers
I ordered a wooden art piece, very small and light weight. $10 shipping and it wasnt worth the item price either, but I suppose thats subjective. Shipping time was fine, but I didnt receive any notice until the day of arrival.
I ordered a Giclee premium Monet print and paid almost 70.00 with shipping. The print arrived and was only partially printed and only covered a very small section of the order canvas size. It cost me 12.00 to send this "junk" back to them. The guy at the frame shop was amazed that they actually shipped it. Ultimately, I was out 12.00 and a couple of hours of my time. Beware!
I ordered a poster that turned out not available.
Despite several contacts they never refunded and now they state that they closed there international business so they can't refund.
Definately a fraudulent company
I ordered 2 prints on Jan. 10. It is Feb. 21 today. They say my prints are delivered. They are not. Haven't been able to successfully communicate with them. If you are looking for art prints, try somewhere else. America is about competition to be the best. They, most definitely, are not.
Following up today (Feb. 22) after getting a reply from a BBB complaint I filed. They put the responsibility on me, it seems, to prove I ordered the prints (I have several screen captures of the tracking page). The only progress is they have changed the tracking page to make it appear the prints were delivered two weeks ago (this contradicts the screen captures from the interim).
Art.com is a big business that doesn't pay attention to what they are shipping. I ordered eight vintage travel posters mounted on a board hanger, ALL IN THE SAME SIZE, for decor in a furnished rental home. They sent only TWO of the correct size. The Others were smaller, or much smaller, and two were not even mounted, just posters rolled up in boxes. When I called they instructed me to take pictures of the wrong ones! They were all wrong! I still do not have an authorization to return. This order was around $550. Buyer beware, they have a slick website but their fabricators are idiots and the customer No Service people have no intention of letting you return anything EVEN THOUGH IT IS THEIR MISTAKE. Do not order from this company unless you're willing to take a chance that one of the idiots who work there will do something right. See below, a rolled up poster on the left compared to the large mounted one they were supposed to ship. And that's one of six incorrect items.
I ordered a picture for my son and his wife for Christmas. I tracked the package and saw it had been delivered; however, I couldn't find the package. I notified art.com and received a reply that they would ship a second package. The second package was due to be received on December 26. I was disappointed but figured better late than never. Oddly enough, my original package arrived. I contacted art.com to inform them and they supplied me with a return label. That is great customer service.
I ordered a piece and was told it would be delivered exactly one month after ordering. I continuously checked the status of the order and it never went beyond production. I used the Live Chat option on the website multiple times and was never given a straight answer. I was told my piece was somewhere in the warehouse, they did not know why it was not being shipped and they had no idea when it would ship or even arrive. Some supervisor emailed me telling me he opened an investigation on my order as to why it wasn't being shipped. The next day I received a generic email telling me the item was out of stock. It had been over a month since I ordered this, why did it take so long to receive this email? I ordered this piece with plenty of time before I needed it and now I have nothing. Never using this site again, it really feels like one big scam.
I should have checked out the reviews here first. They said that the latest delivery date would be November 30th, but it is now December 8th and still nothing. Their "track your package" function doesn't work -- It just (still) says "your order is being processed". I contacted them and was told that the delay is because it has to go through customs, but they didn't say anything about that at the time I put in the order.
I ordered a very large (42by72)Monet water lilies poster and paid $98. When it arrived, it was very blurry and the pixels were low. They have a return policy but you pay the shipping. THe cheapest shipping was $52. I wrote them and said they should not sale large posters where quality is compromised. Very disappointed and won't order from them again.
H
I placed an order of two items. I received them last week and was shocked as to what they actually sent. The items looked like they had taken a picture using a cell phone and enlarged the picture. It is shocking how terrible they looked. I am going to return them as soon as I can. I would not have paid a dollar for both of them if I would have seen what they were going to try to pass off as art.
I waited 2 weeks to get my print even through they said it would ship in 3 days. I finally opened it and it was the wrong print! I was furious. I have been waiting another week for the correct print to ship and just got an email at 2am this morning that it hasn't even shipped yet and it will be delayed. +1 star they let me keep the wrong print...
I asked for gift cards for Xmas because I was saving up for an art.com picture for my bedroom. When I went to redeem my gift cards I was informed that their system can only accept one gift card per order. I have never heard of such a thing! Is their system from the 1990's? So basically I have to spend a lot more of my money on multiple orders in order to use the gift cards that my family spent their money on. Customer service was horrible when I tried to get help on the issue. I am done with art.com (well, after I use all my stupid gift cards!)
I purchased a wall poster for my son on Dec 5th.I received an email confirming my order and a second email alerting me that my item had shipped. In early January I realize my son never got it so I find the information and email Art.com. I have never received a response.I follow the procedure to find the order on the website, I provide my email and the order # and it tells me they can't find the order. The company has got their money and feels no obligation to assist any further obviously. Thanks for nothing Art.com!
Answer: Don't be fooled, this company is a scam, they don't deliver and don't refund.
Answer: I found a print and wanted to have it mounted and framed.
Answer: They make their 800 number a bit hard to find and be aware that who you start speaking with has little to no escalation power to resolve more complex matters.
