I called up aramex to pick up a schedule and upon reconfirming with them, when the delivery possible to almaty from ajman, They said maximum 5 days, based on thier committment, i request them to come next day and they informed anytime between 3 pm you are comfortable for collection, i said yes, Inspite of calling them for confirmation at 2 pm, they said collection boy will reach at 3 pm but he turned at 5.35 pm was in a very hurry, he just nabbed the parcel and payment, the next day by evening i got an update in their portal by 11.35 pm that the courier is in hold for shipper id and Invoice not available. Immediately i send by mail and followed the next day three times to get acknowledge whether they received or not. I got reply they have received at 10 am and shipment is scheduled for today on priority basis and in tracking the portal, the shipment has left to destination from the origin destination at 11.04 am and during next day tracking i found the same showing it has left 5.pm from the destination of origin. Third day same results and My staff has left for airport today without receiving Parcel. For sending 45 aed parcel we paid 140 dhs inspite the service was pathetic, They couldnt deliver in time, Very pathetic customer support.
They picked up a parcel from Cape Town to deliver to Hermanus on 12 December. Travel time from Cape Town to Hermanus is one and a half hours. I tracked with the waybill number that the parcel was reloaded onto another truck at Stellenbosch this morning at 6:04 with a comment "On way to final destination" I was expecting parcel to arrive around 11:00am as has happened with other couriers. At 3:00pm no delivery. I phoned Aramax and my call was answered after 10 min of ringing and listening to how Aramax delivers lightning fast. I asked where was the parcel as has not been delivered. They would get back to me which they did not. I phoned again later and asked them to contact their driver to find out what is happening about the parcel. She put me on hold for 5min and had to listen Aramax delivers lightning fast umpteen times. She got back to me saying they cannot get hold of the driver as he is not answering his calls and is most probably on his way back to Cape Town. I asked when can I then expect delivery and she replied Tuesday. That is now 6 days that they have the parcel in their possession for a trip that is only hour and half away. I have sent an email to the sender of the parcel telling them of the none delivery. I have never experienced this sort of attitude with a courier before but will definitely not use them in future and will let all how about this disgusting service.
Very bad service, always late and have bad customer service!
I receive at least 3-4 shipments a week from multiple courier companies (DHL, ARAMEX, UPS, FEDEX); ARAMEX is absolutely the worse courier company. They never deliver on time, their delivery boys claim they contacted you or came to your doorstep while they never did and then postpone your shipment to another day and you have to run after them calling Aramex and rescheduling. The worst thing is the that the customer service personnel that are supposed to calm you down and solve the problem actually add to the problem by being either ignorant, or rude or giving stupid excuses that the delivery boys can't make it because of weather conditions (I live in Dubai what weather conditions... If I was living in Canada with 3 meters of snow outside I would understand). The problem is that most of my shipments come from Amazon and I have no control over the courier service that they use. Every other shipment that I receive from FedEx or DHL or UPS arrives ahead of the estimated date and their delivery boys and customer service are absolutely superb; if I had the choice I would only use DHL or FedEx for all my shipments.
Aramex & transparency, A company without responsibilities!
Recently I had a very bad experience with Aramex. Their extreme neglegance led them to lose my passport. Communication with Aramex after the event was a waste of time.The only thing they have done till now is the expression of sorrow. According to them the maximum compensation they can pay for any lost parcel is $ 100 whatever its real value. Taking into considerations that they have charged $ 65 to ship the 180 gram parcel, means that the real compensation is $ 35. ( Nothing is paid till now after 5 months of the event.)
Questions for Aramex, they refused to answer it during my communication with them:
*Is $ 35 s fair compensation of a lost passport?
*Where can we find their Alleged compensation policy? I can not find it anywhere, not in the shipping receipt, not on their web site, & I did request to see it but they ignored.
* If Aramex can not pay a fair compensation, why not to allocate little part of their high fees to insure important shipments specially documents?
* What is the justification of charging $ 65 for 180 gram parcel & what service they provide in return?
By reviewing the shipping receipt, which represents the contract between the sender & Aramex, nothing was found regarding their obligation as to how & when(time frame) to deliver the parcel. Also nothing about their responsibilities regarding lost or damaged parcel.
* Why Aramex charge high shipping fees from individuals without providing equivalent care & responsibilities? On the other side, Aramex seems to charge amazingly low shipping fees from online shopping stores.
Will Aramex respect their customers & declare the hidden policies in their job or continue to deceive them?
If you're expecting a parcel, add a week or two to the delivery date they provide you. They are extremely slow and always have delays.

Item has arrived at facility since few days ago. Then you asked your customer to choose our preferred Date & Time slot for delivery.
Which I DID! TWICE! I wasted my time & waited for 2 whole days, but NO updates from ARAMEX. Their "official whatsapp chat" is equally USELESS and CRAP 'cos the only thing it does, are AUTO-REPLIES & does not even give you the latest updates.
I sincerely don't mind waiting for my items to be delivered. I just can't stand it when you MADE us choose the date & time slot, but nothing was delivered! Not once BUT TWICE. And I am still waiting (now is already at night).
Go and shut down your company, ARAMEX. You are the WORST courier service provider, EVER.

This is the worst delivery service I have experience in my whole life. I ordered a book in Sidney to be delivered to my girlfriend in Melbourne for her birthday. The book made it to Melbourne, but Aramex has never managed to deliver it after two weeks.
The same sick joke repeats all the time: the courier never rings the doorbell, never calls you on your phone, all they do is to leave a calling card in your mailbox saying your were not home (LIE: there was always somebody home) and asking to check out on the website for further instructions. This website is totally useless and NEVER gives any further instruction (it just says to come back the next day), so you have to contact them by yourself. I tried to reach out to the seller, who asked me to fill in a form on aramex website to initiate re-delivery, but the same happened: just dropping a calling card in the mailbox, and that was not even on the day that we selected on the website.
The only option they can offer is to pick up the parcel at their central Melbourne depot, which is located 15km (!) from where my girlfriend lives. The local shops that are advertised as delivery points on their website do not work them any more (and one of them made it pretty clear that they didn't want to hear about them any more because of all the problems they create)
I really don't know how they expect people to receive parcels if they do not even try to ring the customer's door when "delivering". Are the customers supposed to sit on their porch all day? How can they call it "delivery" if the customer has to travel 15km to pick up the parcel? There are high street merchants which are closer...
After two weeks, it became clear that the delivery would never occur and I had to request a refund to the seller.

This kind of business, is the future, full stop! But only when you take out the camels of the road... The way the staff handle all the operations... is simply prehistoric! Remind me of the way the Mayans use to send their comms through simply people, running on kilometers to the next town... thats the way Aramex works, at least here in Doha. No interest at all on solving problems, logistics is the less of the logics, waisting resources, lot of staff doing the same thing, minimum input, nothing of effort to have satisfied customers. With the Covid pandemic, their level of excuses have increase. I import a lot of samples for a businessman on potential future productions, so I use Aramex, but I do all the "comms", calling to the Hubs, requesting information on when they will ship, where are the eternal flights that never land (eternal fuel tanks), and is because I do all of this, they help. That I said that DOHA team always blames the other Hubs? Yes they do! UK, Spain they give you full support and info. But Doha? Uhmm the worst! I wonder if Mr. Bashar Obeid knows about this... The customers are doing the logistics, simply because there is not a desire to get into the action. The handle on communications have been a disaster and very sorry to say unacceptable. Is not about money (even when is not cheaper), is about quality!
Unable to get contact, tracking system is tokenism, very unprofessional do not wish to use this carriegese again.

Problems associated with my delivery through this company include:
- repeated calls to have the parcel redirected to my office only to have them continue to attempt delivery to my apartment
- eight hour delivery windows, which they continue to miss
- creepy texts from delivery drivers offering to come by at any time no matter how late (insert winking emoji)
- an attempted delivery at midnight (yes, MIDNIGHT) and calls from the driver that woke me up from a dead sleep - I told him to go away as there is no reasonable human being on this planet who would expect another person to open their door to a stranger at 11:55 PM.
- today on my third call to have the parcel redirected, Aramex informed me they had sent the parcel to a third party delivery company in Singapore after one delivery attempt
Problems with previous deliveries include
- missed eight hour delivery windows
- calls to have the parcel redelivered only to be told the computer system is down and they can't help me

Answer: For God's sake, no. There was this time I ordered from them, a while back through Amazon. And I NEVER GOT THE ORDER. Literally. Until now. And that was YEARS ago. They never explained to me anything, didn't tell me the order had arrived; nothing. And they sent the stuff back without notifying me or anything. I contacted the sender themselves and they apologised and everything (even though it obviously wasn't their fault), and they told me they'd send back the stuff. I waited around for a while, then I realised that aramex DID IT AGAIN: not notifying me of the packages' arrival and sending them back AGAIN to their senders. Oh my Lord, I really, REALLY have absolutely NO idea how they're still operating. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the same problem with them again, because I ordered some stuff online. I really wish we could choose which courier to have deliver our stuff, because then I'd DEFINITELY not choose this tremendously inefficient and incompetent one.

Answer: Don't bother, they won't reply. If by some miracle they do, they won't care, or they will make up a story and still leave you hanging. Contact the sender for a refund. Don't wait for Aramex to sort because they won't.
Answer: They never will, they don't care. If it's a purchase, tell the seller you want a refund. IF it shows up months from now, keep it.

Answer: You will never hear from them. The tracking number will be wrong or not in their system. Contact the sender for a refund on the item, and four months from now IF it shows up, keep it. This is how I dealt with every order thru Aramex. Eventually the senders will stop using them!
