We got 4 new Iphone 11 beginning of this year and one of them developed this fine white line in the middle of the phone screen. We tried Apple Carlsbad to bring it in to have a look at it, but they didnt asnwer their phone and there were no appontments available for over a week. So at the end we send it in for repair, by then the whole phone had white line all over the screen. They informed us that it was water damage and we had to pay 400 dollars for repair. The phone NEVER went into water but that did not interest them at all. They said that even if you have your phone in the bathroom with you (not in the shower) that there could be water coming into the phone and that it was our fault, I pointed out that in the ads it says water resistant but again, no if there is water in the phone its your fault. I a so fed up with Apple and there customer service. Its never their fault, and you always have to pay, their phones get worse and all the customer can do is pay! This will be the last time my family of 4 will buy an iphone.

When we explain again the phone has not been near water, young clean cut Samuel replies with an American smile we (Apple staff at the Genius Bar) have not been with phone during its life- all we can go off are the indicators he says... the inference is we are lying. Our phone will now go to a watery grave - as will our loyalty to Apple.
Half a year ago I bought a new 2019 macbook pro 13inc. During this period there were some issues like screen flickering a few times per day or hangings on. This is the first apple mac book in my life and I did not expect any magic from it to work without any problems and did not pay any real attention on it.
However, a week ago keyboard and touchpad stopped working right in the middle of I was typing something.
I took the book, came to this apple store and they agreed to fix it. My request to replace the laptop by another one because it has a screen issue that is hard to reproduce was rejected. I was given an advice to connect external keyboard and mouse, store all data by Time Machine and erase datadisk then. I did that and the laptop died completely: it could not even load operation system: the logo is shown, progress bar starts, but immediately stops and the laptop switches off.
I came on Friday 10 January 2020 to the same store, described the issues to one of the store workers (Megan) and left the laptop to be fixed.
In a tree days I got a message that the macbook is ready to be picked up.
Having come to the store next day and tried to switch it on showed that the OS does not load still.
This means noone even checked that!
Come on, guys, it is not legendary apple service.
I do not recommend buying their devices because they are not reliable any more and if you get it broken during warranty period you will not receive any good service!
I use lots of apple products like it's iPads and MacBooks. They are convenient and easy to use with great speed. I really like some features Samsung doesn't have, like airdrop.
I was introduced to Apple with my iPhone SE (2020), and loved it. Very soon thereafter I upgraded to the 11 pro max, then 12 mini. I have since purchased: AirPods; AirPod Pros; Apple Watch series 6; iPad Pro 11 2020; Apple Pencil; and I'm very eagerly awaiting my first Mac, a 13" MacBook Pro M1 with 16gb unified RAM which arrives tomorrow! Planned future purchases: Airpod Max; iMac; upgrade to M1 iPad Pro 12.9"; possibly the next iPad mini for traveling; iPhone 12 Pro Max (tough I may wait for the next gen).
I brought 2 pairs of Apple AirPod pros. For 6 months they worked great but after that both pairs started having a whistling sound. Since they were still under warranty, I called Apple, and they said that they would send me replacement pairs. They would also put a $400 hold on my card until I return the old pairs with the whistling sound. I received the AirPods within 2 days; however, I received 2 left ears. I called Apple and asked if I could pair the left ear with my old right ear and they said I could. They also stated that the right ear would arrive in 7 business days. I tried and tried to pair the left ears, but to no avail, so I called Apple tech support. The tech support rep was real nice but even she could not get the AirPods to pair together. They had 2 different firmwares and we couldn't get the new AirPod firmware to update. We had no choice but to wait until the right AirPods arrive and attempt to pair them. In the meantime she had to ask for extension of when we could return the old AirPods; however, my $400 is still on hold. Apple should not be sending replacement parts that do not work or only 1 AirPod at a time. They should also have it do that people can drop off the item at an Apple store and come back and pick it up. I spent over 3 hours on the phone trying to get something to work that never did and I believe that Apple should be aware of this problem and make corrections.

I know this sounds like I'm exaggerating, but everything I purchased from Apple has not once failed me. I was always a Windows PC user and an Android user in the beginning. Although I think that these platforms have their benefits, almost every product I purchased failed me in one way or another.
However, I have purchased 5 iPads, 3 MacBooks, 1 iMac, and 5 iPhones since 2011 and NONE of them ever failed on me for any reason. I have had no issues and everything just worked. When I had a problem with my first MacBook upon receiving it in the mail, I took it to the store and they replaced it immediately. I love that I could just go to the store and have it fixed rather than pay and have it shipped back to a company warehouse for fixing.
Customer service at every Apple store I went to was very friendly and helpful. Their extended warranty prices are high though. I think the prices for the products are fair for how they perform. Their peripherals could use some work though. The Magic Mouse 2 and several other items are made poorly. They always shipped my items to me safely and ordering online was never a problem. The refurbished items also perform well and are a great bargain. And, they take returns on even custom builds with no questions asked and no restock fees. Overall, I haven't had issues with Apple. I'm quite pleased with them.
Imitated the App Cash app and of course they applied the same rules as Cash App so they let scammers roam free. Innovation as its best. Lost $1700 I got $500 back from my bank, till this day I'm still trying to get my money back. Apple is useless with that and all they have to do reveal who the scammer informations that in for t of their computer screen. I'm a Apple user for many years. I had a several devices in the past and I still continue that deal with them. But my enthusiasm was fall down when my MacBook Air got a fail in unexplained situation in a short period after a product warranty timeline ended. The problem was started so unexpectedly just one day my Mac wouldn't answer in any ways. I contacted with your support and I got recommendation that I should left my Mac in one of your recognized service and after the advice inspection we could try to find some solutions even the product warranty is ended. After the inspection I got the receipt with solution where I had to pay 3 thousand PLN.
I disagreed with that because and I tried to contact with your support one again because I was sure that you could help me to find some good solutions for both sides but finally I got the answer that you cannot do anything with that. The case is closed and you really sorry. I think that treating your loyal clients in this way is unfair and the premium class company which you describe yourselves could treat the clients in much better way. I'm upset and I will think twice before buying your product.
My son has Apple Ipods, Ipads, & Iphones. Something technical always goes wrong & you have to pay for tech support. No thanks Apple, I'll stick with my Android.
I would like to warn to all apple product holders out there who are contemplating to trade in their device directly with apple. I was purchasing apple iPhone 13 and decided to trade in my iPhone SE 2 (which was estimated $100 trade in value by apple after 1 year purchase for $450. Per salesperson, the $100 trade in should have been credited to my original method of payment credit card with which I purchased my iPhone 13. To my surprise, after about 3 weeks of sending my iPhone SE 2, I received an email from Apple, stating that I received $50 in form of Apple gift card and $50 credit to my Apple account. It took me about 2 months long multiple calls to Apple customer service and hours long conversations to get the $100 credited back to the original credit card I used to pay for my iPhone 13.
So, I would strongly suggest to find an alternative way of trading in your apple product, unless you won't mind receiving the payment in the form of your Apple ID credit or Apple gift card (which are useless, except if you are purchasing a product directly from the Apple's web site)
When you buy a car, we look its resale value, same way we look resale value before buying any expensive product. Apple products are not resalable and you will not be able to sell your used one and buy a newer version using the money you got from your older phone. Apple put restrictions on resellers making it more complicated for them to re-sell a used phone or ipods. NEVER BUY AN APPLE PRODUCT AS IT IS NOT RESALLABLE. These are expensive products and resale value is very important. Apple products has ZERO resale value. When buying any high value electronics, see if you will be able to resell it before buying, otherwise you will struck with it.
I have iPhone and dropped my phone cracked the screen totally on me... in the process the phone started acting weird n perhaps jumping from different apps n sadly it locked the phone so I replaced the screen and got home to hook to my computer to unlock it and somehow I forgot my password to my iCloud which you need to sign back in called apple talked with someone who was very helpful but the phone recovery locked it for 22 hours I waited until the. Called back spoke with another rep he sent the same email to me for recovery but instead of step by step instructions to reset it asked for my number which I enter they sent a code which I entered then they asked for a card they have on file which I remember having the card just don't remember the numbers cause I no longer have the card and haven't for years so I was unable to change my password because I didn't remember my old card number so Hoorayyyyyyyyy Apple locked my phone again for 13 days which is Insane. Why take someone through so much just to change a freaking password I don't have 13 days to wait to use my phone I just wanted a properly link to reset password and use my phone again... Yes people forget things often why make us go through more cause we don't remember a freaking password I never had this problem with Samsung... no one stealing the phone if that was the case I'll report it stolen how you put that much security on someone account that they can't even retrieve they own password Worst ever

Waited for 15 minutes whilst the Gods talked to each other... was looked down from above and made to feel the lowly mortal that I am... almost as if how I dare to enter the Kingdom of the Gods.

The good thing about it is... I have now bought another brand of Laptop... and have started my journey to becoming crAPPLE free.

Took XS MAX to retail store, they troubleshoot the device and change the SIM card twice. Store advise me to call apple because phone is under warranty. Apple refuse to exchange the device
Okay I have been Apple Fan since June of 2010, and it's 2022, that's 12 years, I bought a IPhone almost every year y to out every future iPhone smartphone. The cost of these. Has risen through the roof. My first was 250 bucks! Now 2021 IPhone 13 Pro Max 1tb cost me 2k that's with case and screen protector. The other I suffered offset cut backs on IPhone 12 Pro Max, and 13 Pro Max, No power brick and ear pods in box! This year 2021, They sent my IPhone box that looks open box. Now you think a phone that cost 2k for smartphone with a box that looks like open box. I am really thinking about dropping out apple fan etc, buy a phone every year. I have been testing out the new feathers on future IPhones every year.
PS: they IPhone 14 Pro Max in 2022 will include 2 tb space and Touch ID at the cost 2k. I very close dropping of this, due to the of flag ship phones every year.
PS: here photos of iPhone collection worth 3.7k the cost of these phones, very pricey. This is designed for rich business people. Not for middle class on budget. Me I sell my old phones on Amazon and EBay.
