The following is MY Review of Amazon Prime!:

I needed this item to fix a Shelving Unit for my Grandchildren. I ordered the item on Saturday. Item was to be delivered the NEXT DAY (Sunday) per Amazon Prime. Item was not delivered on the NEXT DAY as per Amazon Prime advertised. Per Amazon Tracking: Product left the Amazon Facility in Oakley, CA., August 27th at 5:39AM and then the Product arrived at the Amazon Facility in Oakley, CA, at 2:51PM. Called Amazon and asked what was going on...Was informed that the product may not arrive until Wednesday or Thursday. I rechecked the Amazon Tracking System and found it saying I HAD AGREED TO RESCHEDULE the Delivery... While I was on the Phone! I informed them that was a LIE. After 3 times being put on hold by Amazon I decided to cancel the order and buy a new shelving unit locally. I also cancelled my Amazon Prime...This is my 3rd time trying out Amazon Prime...All 3 times, Amazon Prime did NOT Deliver as Advertised. As for the movies and games Amazon Prime has, well if you want to watch a New Movie or play the New Game Releases you have to still pay for them on Amazon Prime. Not worth it.
I am a Prime Amazon Member. I ordered a new $1300. 00 TV that I found on Amazon which was promised to be delivered "next day" on July 6,2016. The date was updated to July 7,2016 online when I checked the status online. I called and was told that it would definitely be delivered on July 7th and that Amazon would refund my next day shipping. I waited all day on July 7th for the TV. The TV never arrived. I went online and it said that it was coming by MAIL and that it was in transit! I called Amazon and asked how in the world could they guarantee ANYTHING sent by MAIL to be delivered the following day... and how could they send something so expensive and fragile BY MAIL? They had no answer. The agent put me on hold and said that she would call the USPS about the delivery. She came back online and said that she had spoken with the USPS and had been told it would be delivered by 3:00 p.m. She told me that she would call me back at 4:00 p.m. to confirm the delivery. At 4:20 p.m., I had no TV and no call from Amazon. So, I called Amazon. All the agent could tell me was that, in checking his tracking information, he could see the TV was "in transit." I told him that I KNEW that much as I could see it when I looked myself. He told me at that point that the TV would "probably come tomorrow or the next day." I told him that I had reserved a man to come out to mount my TV based upon Amazon's "guarantee" and all he could say was, "I'm sorry. I know you are frustrated." At that point I told him to cancel the order and I would go to Best Buy and get the TV there for the same price. He told me that he canceled the order. I also told him to cancel my Prime Membership as well. I am done with Amazon and their delivery "guarantee" days which, obviously, mean nothing at all.
I can find just about anything I want at Amazon & with prime free ship! Love it!
I recently was given a 30 day free trial of amazon prime. Now all i can say is they better hope they turn into a cable company for tv. Prime is worthless except for it tv stuff and free shipping but if you dont spend $150 in shipping a year or more your wasting your money. Which I buy atleast 50 or alot more items online a year and its not worth it just look somewhere else for free shipping or use their shipping pick up places. So far in the free trial period I've order a dozen products. One came aerly, one came ontime and the others were late. Now the three biggest things that will drive an online shopper nuts are ther biggest problems. One they dont have tracking like they say they do it gives you no real tracking info and thats on purpose because it falls in to number two problem. Second problem is they change delivery times at any point and almost everytime. So the delivery time and DATE change almost everytime so dont trust it. They give no warning no reason just completely blow you off and falls in line with there third problem cause they are like all big companies they dont care bout you just wanna steal your money if they cant earn it. Third issue their customer service avoids you like the an illness its very hard to even rport anything. Like a cheap chinese scam company they have no email address. Wait a minute wasnt that a rule of thumb once ago that if a company had no email they were a scam and you shouldnt do business with them. But thats all big business now they have so many customers and advertising and this generation of young people are dumb and are willing to let people steal from them and do nothing bout it. Just like they let tik tok steal all there info and sell it and let the u.s. goverment take away there free speech and other rights. And amazon knows all this so they will avoid you and try to keep you money and give no or little service so dont waste you money pay the shipping or drive to your local UDF gas station and pick it up for free.
I've been hooked on Amazon Prime ever since I first started using it, keep up the great work Amazon and Amazon staff.

Answer: Probably because Amazon Prime would rather be straight forward with their customers and ensure they get their customers' questions answered to the absolute best of their ability to avoid any sort of confusion using chatbots, and/or a most likely VERY busy email address that very few people probably have access to via their site. I have actually never heard nor seen anybody complain about authenticity, or live chat, or phone call where you can get your question or questions answered much faster, vs. waiting for and possibly potentially even missing their reply email because you would have to be sitting around waiting on an email reply, for however long that'd take. Trust me, if you really want your question(s) answered, this would by far be the best option. There is even an app and/or extension you can use called "Amazon Assistant" That feature normally gets any and all issues solved, and FAST! I hope this helps! :)
