Crap transmission

This is for AM Used Auto Parts. I ordered a tranny and engine from them. They said they were coming out of a donor car with 58k miles on it. The parts arrived a week apart which didn't make sense. My mechanic said that the tranny had been rebuilt which means it didn't come out of the donor car. It was complete garbage too, worse than the one I was replacing with 170k miles on it. I couldn't jump through all the proper hoops for a refund due to sudden severe illness. Do not buy from them. $1399 plus cost of installing and removing.

Complete scams

I was sent a motor with blown head caskets filed a claim and they did everything possible to find away to deny my claim if you don't want to get robbed take my advice stay away from am auto

Bought a transmission from then a few weeks ago, had water in it, when I called to get my money back, the part cost 1000$ they said I have to pay 650$ to return it and a 25% restocking fee which leaves me with less than 200$ of what I spent. They cussed at me and told me I was wrong. I know what a good transmission looks like and now I'm stuck with this piece of crap I have to rebuild myself and am out 1000$ stay away from this site. Do not buy from them. My neighbor had to very same experience with them. They are a scam

Horrible service

The motor that we ordered was only supposed to take 2-3 wks but it took 5 wks instead. The motor was supposed to be complete and it was not. When we first ordered it the order got misplaced. We got that taken care of. Then when it was supposed to be shipped it got misplaced again. I called and said that this was the second time and the guy (Wayne) said no once, and when I disagreed he said I'll send you your tracking number and hung up on me. Finally got the motor and thatbis when we found out it wasn't complete. They sent it on a pallet with nothing under it. I guess we are lucky it was strapped down and covered over.

I paid $895 for a transmission, which was suppose to be one with 62,000 mile. They sent me one with 200,000+ miles on it, rusty water in the transmission pan, metal shavings in the torque converter and it took a month for them to ship it to meet. I got_UCKED! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!

Bad Business

This company is willing to take the faulty part back at your expense and for a partial refund then is willing to resell it to the next person in line. Terrible business.

We ordered a motor from them and paid for a local mechanic to inspect and install the motor (As we are no professionals in this arena). The mechanic inspected the motor with a camera and noticed there was rust and pits on the inside. He informed us the motor would not perform well and advised we sent the motor back.

We got ahold of Clifton, the supervisor, who took our issue not seriously and as rather a joke, was zero help. He would not even admit they sent us a bad motor. When asked if he would install it in his own vehicle he fumbled with his words and danced around the question. Clifton is a low life that is willing to take the motor back (At our expense) and then will resell it to anybody else and give them the same hogwash. Never buy from this company. Clifton is a window licker and should not be allowed to hold a job. AM Motors must pull their workers from make a wish foundation cause he is terrible. How this man has a job here is astonishing.

Never buy from this company.

Warranty

I've been told ( how can we resolve the issue I'm having with getting refunded) ( what can we do to help fix this issue). I don't understand if you guys got the receipts of parts I had to add on to a motor I paid you guys 2,500 for with a 3 yr warranty would come only having to add or changed basic parts. I'm sick of laying labor cost due to motor issues that I shouldn't have to have for the amount I was charge for the motor. Like I said once I read up on AM Auto I was like ok 3yr warranty they must have quality parts or what not. Look at the website a couple times when I should've just took my time but, I like the idea of that 3 yr warranty can beat that if I said IF they will honor it.

We have bought from this company before. This time we bought fog lights and rear lights for a 2006 dodge dually. The rear lights did not fit properly and bounced out. Low and behold there is no phone number to customer service so I complete a form the 1st 2-3 times I completed the CSR form, I received and e-mail back stating to respond to the e-mail with pictures etc. OF COURSE the e-mail is rejected and says the e-mail is undeliverable so I go complete a new CSR request and put that in my message. Again another e-mail to reply back with pictures and again nothing. I continue to complete another 2-4 requests and not I am not getting any responses. So I file for a return, I file for the return again as of course I am not getting the RDA label. Find a phone number that I have to leave a voicemail for and of course I get the e-mail and they state they had sent to me several times prior. The lights are received back by AM parts on 5/2/24 and I am receive no sort of communication. I file a CSR form on 5/9/24 - NOTHING. I call on 5/11/24 and leave a voicemail to which I get an e-mail there will be no refund as they are not resalable? WHY NOT? I have plenty of messages stating they do not fit so how are they not resalable, I could not keep them in the truck, I have to call again to leave a message to I am sure wait for an e-mail. I want proof of why they are not resalable. THIS COMPANY HAS BECOME A TOTAL SCAME! I am attaching just some of the E-mail, but the pictures I could never send clearly showing they DID NOT FIT. My next step will be going to the BBB.

I purchased a part that was damaged. I didn't find this out until after I paid $250 in labor. I was refunded for the part but it took 5 different reps to contact me. One said it was the wrong part, one said it should be shipped back, one said it shouldn't be shipped back, another said it was the correct part. I think you get the idea. You can't even talk to anyone so it countless hours of waiting on an email. I won't be buying here again. The price may be right but the customer service and parts aren't worth it.

A business that will find you being lied to and scammed, Tracking my part, my delivery date has been changed 3 times. I'm glad I ordered through E bay, at least I will get my money back. And Ebay is even slow at giving you back your money. AMAZON from now on. If your wise you will too.

I ordered a fender from them at 10:55 AM. They showed 5 in stock. They advertise same day shipping if ordered before 12pm. I ordered from them because I really needed this part quick. They waited over 24hrs to tell me this:
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for the inconvenience.
This email is to notify you that the one you purchased from us is still out of stock. The supplier has extended the replenishment date to.
At this time, we can:
1.) Continue keeping the order on hold until the merchandise has arrived.
2.) Cancel the order and issue a refund.

As you can see, they left the replenishment date empty. So no idea how long it'll be. So I ordered another one. At 6:00pm, without confirming I wanted it cancelled they messaged me saying it was shipped!
They won't even acknowledge their mistake, saying the mistake was on my end.
Their communication is terrible. Obviously the mistake was on their end and mistakes happen. But blaming me makes it so much more frustrating.
I definitely will not be dealing with them again.

I paid $27 for next day shipping and they told me it wouldn't be here for 4 days after I've paid for it already, had to get a refund which they said is 5-7 business days when it hasn't even processed by my bank yet. Do NOT trust them if you need your part asap like I do!

I ordered a transmission from this company and they have refused to make things right because of deflective transmission that they sent. They are making every excuse in the book and is using the contract to request information that cannot be produced or is not what they want to see on the return policy. I spent nearly $1200 dollars with addition to a extra charge for delivery. I had to pick up the part myself because of details being left out on the purchase and not clarified. I still haven't received a refund for this extra charge that I paid for delivery. They received video explaining the issue and outlying what was wrong from the actual shop that is installing the transmission and still giving me a hard time. Demanding that the shop print and outline everything they did first on installing it. The representative is very rude and uncompromising. This company need to be investigated on how many people money they have taken thus far. Everything that I have tried to upload or download have been rejected due to size restrictions which is the normal size when sending documents. Everything with this purchase has been a lot of money and time.

I bought a engine from AM auto.for my 99 F150 Truck. When my mechanic received the engine and tried to install it. The engine would only turn a 1/4 of a round. Before it locked up. In further investigation there was a screw driver bit found on top of the #6 piston. Because of the carbon on it you could tell the engine had been run with it inside.Rendering the engine a total Junk. I shipped the engine back which i paid for. And i never received my refund of $1,399.00 back. Ever time i call them they hang up on me. Never buy again there crooks..

Contacted them for a motor for my 99 Suburban. When it was recieved it was an earlier motor that was not compaible and even illegal to install for emissions requirements. Contacted customer service and was told not their problem. When I tried to explain details customer service agent refused to listen and told me if I wanted to return it was my problem and at my expense. Very rude and short. Obviously had inferiority issues. Will never use them again and will tell everyone I see not to trust them.

AUM Auto are crooks.

Do Not Ever Buy From AUM Auto because they are crooks. I ordered a custom wheel for $900 and they charged my credit card. They replied a couple days later they would not be able to fill the order because the actual price was $1167. I got a confirmation I cancelled the order and would receive a refund within 72 hours. They never refunded. After multiple assurances they would refund but never refunding; I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. I provided documentation from the emails. After 3 months my credit card company charged me back. They said I I agreed to their term and conditions. They never shipped a product. What terms could I agree to that would allow them not to ship but keep my payment. These are crooks and should be in prison.

They are not honest when selling I bought a transmission for a 2012 Nissan Murano they said it had 52,000 miles and it came out bad, it was totally worn out on the inside they were lies it had that many miles
