We have your part. OOPS

No telephone no customer service the automated service says ues we have your part. Our $2000 part is a perfect fit. Well I'm not trusting a computer on a site i can't call someone. Csn you imagine how hard returning a bad part would be if you can only communicate with a computer? I finally forced a real person to communicate. I found out they don't carry the basic part i needed. Never use this crap reordering site.

Got screwed!
July 10, 2021

I bought a used transmission from them and it did not work from the start. I realized that the labor I spent was my expense. I had a hard time returning the transmission and getting a refund. To this date I am still short the return shipping costs of $236.00. It has only been 9 months now. They will not return my calls now. And when i have been able to talk to them I get the story "the check is in the mail". I cannot give a low enough rating for such a suck $#*! outfit.

I ordered a 4 piece set of bushings for my tailgate on pickup. The set as advertised was a 4 piece set for $12.99, all was good, until, I seen my bank acct was charged twice, once for the 4 piece set then once for a higher amount which turned out to be for 1 bushing, I contacted cust service, everything fixed right? Nope they cancelled the 4 piece set (12.99) and sent me the 1 piece (14.99) so now if I want the other 3 pieces I need to send them another $45.00. I think I will just send the Kansas Attorney General all the screen shots and emails and see where it goes, Spend 20$ at parts geeks and be happy

A disgrace
June 7, 2021

I purchased a transmission for $1300 for a 2005 BMW. Paul was assigned to me. He answered my calls before l paid. He was very friendly until after he got my money then he ceased all communication. I had questions about the transmission when it arrived to the repair shop. The shop stated the pan was damaged. I wanted advice from Paul about my Tranny arriving damaged. He would not return my calls. Paul placed me on hold and never returned to the call. They just want your money! They don't care if your satisfied and will not help you once they get ur cash. Paul should be fired. Never again! I made a mistake spending that kind of money with this company. I should have read the reviews. I pray the transmission will last because the warranty may be a sham! I followed all procedures to activate warranty, however, if something goes wrong l will have to fight like hell to get service! Don't gamble your money on this company. I was very afraid that Paul was scamming me on the tranny. I could not sleep at night thinking l was going to have to sue this company! Bad experience! Live and learn.

Parts are inexpensive but if defective they do not refund, they only replace. They do not take returns on used parts, so if it causes an issue you can be stuck with additional costs, beware

I purchased a pair of headlights for my mercedes-benz. They worked great for a few months then the right low beam stopped working. I brought it to an experienced European technician, expecting it to be a harness, or the ballast. However it was just the headlight itself. When I tried to contact them about getting it replaced, they claimed that it was the wrong headlight for my car... even though it had been working for months, and an experienced mechanic says they are the right fit. When I try to tell them that they are wrong, they endlessly transfer me between agents and stop talking with me. Absolutely unbelievable! That's nearly $400 down the drain!

Over the past 4 years I have purchased many auto parts from AM Parts. Until this year I would have given them great reviews. They seem to have lost the willingness to provide adequate customer service, no matter, there are plenty of online purveyors of auto parts and I will find another who believes in delivering great customer service. Even though I have made over 20 purchases with them they refused to warranty parts that are supposedly covered by a ten year warranty! Save yourself a hassle and headache find someone else to buy from besides AM Parts

I ordered my part on 12 4 2020. They say they shipped on 12 7 2020. Here it is 12 21 2020, no part. They say they are sending me another part 12 21 2020. Lets see if i have it by 12 26 2020, which is 5 days.

I purchased a passenger side mirror does not work they will not talk by phone and people doing emails can not read. I would give a zero for rating but no option I paid more than I paid for mirror to have diagnosed to prove to them it was bad.

3800 supercharged engine

Bought the engine was told it was tested. When it finally got here and I had the shop put it in it was tapping I was pissed. Want buy another engine from this company nor do any kind of business with them.

Poor quality parts
November 2, 2020

I ordered headlight assemblies for a 2001 Malibu. When I installed them, they clip in with a 'slide clip'. When I got them installed and pushed down on the clip for it to 'lock' into place, the sliding plastic part of the clip popped out of it's groove with the second plastic part, thus not holding the light firmly in place. I tried several times. I finally used the OEM lights sliding clips and they locked nicely into place. When I notified AM Auto Parts, they said since I had altered the piece, the warranty was void. It was either that or send the damn things back! They work OK with the original clips, but the ones that came with the assemblies were flimsy and wouldn't stay in their grooves and so the light would not stay firmly in place. I wouldn't buy from here again.

Follow Up review: AM Auto parts. After ordering a 2002 3.4L GM engine in Sept. 2020. The installation was performed by my personal mechanic. My mechanic did a complete inspection of the engine and completed the installation with no problems. AM Auto Parts requires a completed work order from my mechanic shop within 15 days to activate the 3 year warranty. I e-mailed the work order to my sales rep Bryan. AM did stipulate on unnecessary requirements. I received a Warranty confirmation e-mailed. My vehicle is back on the road and running great. I like this company and they would definitely be my 1st choice again.

Will not cover parts under warranty. Bad place to do business with. I've been in auto repair business for 40 years and AM parts tells me I ordered the wrong water pump for my car. They are wrong, the pump is the exact replacement pump for my car and it failed after 10 months. Has a 1 year warranty and they will not honor it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!

Buyer Beware

What you buy, is not what you get. Purchased Bosch ignition coils, got chinese TRQ ignition coils. Now vendor is playing stupid with the return (maybe). Vendor's customer service is unqualified to handle reason.
