I bought a part new part, the price I paid should been able to track instead they send a tacking number which it says waiting for pick up must I tell u I waited a week so I emailed them 3 times Nothing so I called my bank and got my money back
Ordered brake pads and rotors for half the price I could find anywhere else. Shipping was free and the product took less than 4 days to be delivered! Almost didn't buy from the site because of the bad reviews I saw else where, but I'm glad I did. I definitely will be using AM Autoparts in the future!
Never had any issues order from here all time aways get the right parts if something is bad when i get it they ship me another free of charge fast shipping never had any problems with this place. Will continue go thru this place for parts
Just received a new tail light for my 2012 Nissan Sentra SE-R. Not a Nissan part, but still very good. It has a 10 year warranty & it even came with bulbs (obviously not covered under warranty). $48, free shipping, & I received it in 5 business days. I almost didn't go with them, because of the reviews. Glad I took the chance. Knocked a star off because it isn't clear on the site that the part is a 3rd party part.
I have done business with am Auto Parts in the past is always good. This time I am ordering about $2,000 worth of parts but when I try to order the front drive lines with CV joints your system their system wants to charge me for 3 and will not allow me two fix the problem or reset my full order that's my review of this situation would like a reply from the vendor and have not been able to connect with them due to the fact they will not call me back or reply by email thank you
Well, I fortunately had an excellent experience with AM-Autoparts. I got all parts I needed with 2/3 cheaper than any other auto parts shops. I got what I requested and all parts worked excellent.
However, over time you will notice that you pay for what you get even though they are still having cheaper parts ever, but the quality is less than any other auto part shop!
So my advice is, if you have an old car that have mid-high mileage odometer, you could use auto parts to get what you need for your car because even though the parts have less quality than other shops, they still last long for years, not only for few months. So it is worth it. Moreover, if you have any issue over time with the parts in your car, you still have that 10 years warranty on what you get.
The other side of my advice, if you have a brand new, or a very new car (2007 and above), with a low mileage on it, I encourage you to use other auto part shops other than AM because the car is still worth it to invest an extra money on parts to fix it, especially on the critical parts. I am definitely happy with AM.
I ordered a 10 pc. Ball joint set. Lowers, uppers, tie rod ends, frt. And rr. Sway bar links. Am happy to say that every part fit. Price was 56.90$. Could have been way over 300$. Also has a 10 yr. Warranty. No tax and no shipping fees. Will definitely buy here again. Thanks.
Needed a coil pack for 99 jeep, no part store around had one in stock, ordered one from am auto parts had it send over night, ordered it on wedneday at 9:30 am got thrusday at 11:30 am and it fit prefect, and with shipping and part price it was still 20.00 dollars cheaper than if i got from any part store around, good job
First and foremost, I would like to say I am sorry to hear about the bad experiences others have had with AM Auto Parts. I'll admit that I became concerned upon reading the bad reviews after the fact that I had already purchased my rear strut assembly. What concerned me the most, is that the company had no means of immediate contact, such as a phone number to a contact center, and I had not received a tracking number that worked as promised. That being said, I was able to communicate with the staff at the company quite efficiently. Upon sending them a request for my tracking number, I received the information about an hour later. What was great about this was the fact that it was on a weekend, and I was already having an anxiety attack because I was worried I was going to fall victim to the bad business practices I had read about on various forums and review sites. Long story short, I received my parts in the span of five business days. As mentioned before, I had purchased the rear strut assembly for both the passenger and drivers side of my 99 Nissan Maxima. The assembly was in great, brand-new condition, and was truly a bargain for what I would have purchased them at Autozone (about $125.00 per assembly). I will admit that I agree with the fact that, perhaps, AM Auto Parts should provide a phone number for greater piece of mind in future purchases, but I am definitely a satisfied customer. I replaced my destroyed strut assemblies, and my car runs like a dream.
Bought headlight set for 1997 Suzuki Sidekick JLX from AM Autoparts on eBay. Arrived quickly, and were 'almost' OK. However, after my mechanic had to switch out the mounting plate (because shape of new mount plate was wrong, and one hole missing), I wrote to AM Autoparts to advise them of this discrepancy.
Suggested, also, that they note this on eBay to alert prospective buyers. Later, my mechanic also had to return the old bulbs and electrics to the new set, as new ones not compatible. Again, notified AM Autoparts to mention on eBay. During this same time, they continued to say each set was 'the last one available' and yet kept offering more after each purchase. Game players? Whatever. Just be aware that what you think you're buying might not be a true fit. We exchanged communiques about all this, and they assured me that it would be corrected. Not!
As of this morning, Jan 23,2016, they are again offering these headlights, but no warning text about fit problems.
On my third set of headlight assemblies. Heat from the supplied bulbs cause the plastic lens to turn milky white after a few hours of use. You must pay for return postage to get replacements. They had a return process using photos but stopped that. Save your paperwork and packing you'll need it.
If you are buying a part from AM Autoparts online or on ebay for a third generation pontiac firebird or chevrolet camaro, whether seat belts, steering wheels, hood liner insulation, buyer beware. They sell incorrect and bad parts and if beyond 60 days (as can happen with restoration projects), you can go fly a kite. Typical passive aggressive, nasty MA, Massachusetts business. Should have looked before ordering. Not recommended for factory or OEM or restoration parts for autos especially for pontiac firebird or chevrolet camaro.
AVOID. Boston Better Business Bureau says the same thing.
Still waiting for resolution after seven days. They sent the wrong part because of an issue on their website. Showed same part numbers for two different engine displacements. They sent the wrong part and want me to pay shipping back. They'll waive the restock fee. BFD. They haven't even confirmed they have the parts I need and I'm still out no small amount of money. AVOID.
Answer: I never could find one i looked an looked the reason they dont have one is they know they are a bunch of rip off bozzos an dont want to do the honest thing an fix their mess ups just want your money an then too bad so sad for you
