The overall reputation of the company reflects significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to pervasive issues with order fulfillment, delayed deliveries, and inadequate customer service. Many customers report difficulties in receiving refunds and resolving disputes, often feeling ignored or misled by the company's support channels. Positive aspects, such as product variety and competitive pricing, are overshadowed by complaints regarding fraudulent sellers and the lack of buyer protection. Aliexpress is just an another scam and racist company that refused to refund my money and insulted me via their customer support.

I happen to claim refund and was able to get courtesy.
A CS executive on chat said that he/she has applied for my courtesy and wanted to wait for 10 working days, after 11th day the another CS executive refused to accept that and said "I am not the one who promise you about it" which sounds like a politic business.

I strongly suggest all of you to stay away from Aliexpress or their associates.

Aliexpress is a SCAM.
Aliexpress is a Fraud.
Aliexpress is a Con.

Please check the screenshot as proof.

In early September, I ordered a futon cover that was 160-190cm. I received the cover late (the day before it was the last day to open a dispute). I wrote to Shawn Lee, the seller, and he was extremely unhelpful. The futon cover was 140cm when it was stretched (i. E., not even on a futon, so it would cover a 120cm-futon max). Mr. Lee asked me to take photos, including of the tag, which wasn't even on the cover! He refused to refund me, as there was no proof that the futon cover was too small. Firstly, I would not waste a month of time over $25. I was more than willing to send it back, and wouldn't have gone through the hassle if it were the right size. I would have also accepted an exchange. There was no offer of this and he was condescending. This is my worst online shopping experience. I would highly suggest that no one shop with AliExpress.

Dont waste your money
November 21, 2017

Its hit or miss, you really need something you cant get else where then go for it. Be aware it will take at least a month to get, you will not be able to get any money back, your missing something you wont get it back they offer you a 2 dollar discount to buy again, your Dispute will be canceled by seller and never resolved. Try to use amazon it has a return policy just saying.

Everything so far smooth (I order more than 200 item) and aliexress works great. Support its great and when you have problems dispute works as should work. Sometimes an item may not received but its airlines problems (that happens also at ebay and many other sites), although seller or aliexpress gives you refund so no problems.
The good part is the feedback by buyers about items and transactions which is an advantage.

I have had some good luck on AliExpress with small cheap items and some bad, my experience with each seller has been mixed. Dont let them fool you there is no real return policy, no real refund policy, and no real complaint recourse for dispute. Also caution, the seller can reject your request to cancel an order and ship it anyways so be extra careful that what you need isnt time sensitive or necessary (a pair of shoes didnt ship for a week, when I cancelled the order they rejected it and shipped but I havent seen the shoes yet so I will be every surprised if they actually come. Shipping is terrible, I am in Canada the best I have ever gotten is 6 weeks, other items take longer, and a few just have never showed up at all. My patience with AliExpress is running out as I am sure if I accounted for all my lost stuff my deals wouldnt be as good as I think.

I bought some electronics part for my car. Total cost of 300+ euro. The products did not work, and I disputed it as the system should work.
The agreement was to receive 10% return, or return all for full refund.
I returned all, but no refund at all.
Now I lost both the faulty goods and the money.
Im really pissed of by AliExpress and their suppliers.

I ordered a down jacket from AliExpress a year ago and it arrived within a month and was great value.
This time however I have been waiting for three pairs of linen trousers since the third of October - thats six weeks.
Ive been locked out of my account and tried to reopen it without success. Their CS help is useless, password reset gives you the runaround and live chat help is a joke. Very few words input hampers communication and promises of resetting UN and PW come to nothing. Its like a maze that leads you nowhere. Maybe the goods will arrive but all I want to do at the moment is get a tracking update but as Im locked out of my account...
Spent an hour yesterday in this ridiculous live chat trying to sort it out with Felicity the outcome of which was me still locked out of my account.

I bought a "high neck" bathing suit online. I received a VERY low neck bathing suit that shows half my boobs! When I tried to go about returning the item, I went on their website to look up my order and it says I have NO ORDERS! But I received the item and there is a charge on my credit card for it! This website is a SCAM! I called my CC company and disputed the charge. They credited me back and will do an investigation.

Appeal
November 16, 2017

Have been ordering beads from AliExpress for a couple of months. Everything was going fine, prices were good, most items were good quality and I received my orders, happy etc. Then they had a sale on Nov 11 so I was going to order 119 items. When I tried to pay it locked up my order with some lame Appeal process and they want me to upload my credit card and ID like drivers or passport to release my order! I have spent days trying different ways to pay but until I upload my info it won't let me pay. I will not upload anything so I am not happy and can't get my orders. Errr

Shipping seems better with anything China Post
November 16, 2017
Updated review

Updates Nov/17. Been awhile not buying anything and i think the shipping is somewhat better than before. To my surprise, the fastest shipping method turned out to be anything by China Post. Even AliExpress own shipping method is way slower from being handed over to one Logistics company after the other after the other.

So new tips for worry-free shipping. - Nevermind AliExpress Standard or Premium. Theyre slow, because parcel is being handled by logistics after logistics. Pick anything China Post, which is free mostly. Even their seem to be cheaper - small packet ordinary - is pretty fast, and traceable although sellers would say the otherwise

Could be good, but need to educate their sellers
November 16, 2017
Previous review

I like AliExpress. You can find crazy unthinkable useful stuff there apart from mobile phone parts. There is one persistent problem though - shipping. You have to be very patient. I am based in Thailand and shipping to Bangkok from let's say Shenzen could take 2 weeks. So if you are in remote somewhere in Europe, then expect probably a month to get anything.

Not all sellers are slow or non-responding (most likely language barrier), there are good & responsible sellers too. But still even if they are fast, the shipping is really unpredictable. They have this so-called 'AliExpress Premium' shipping which is delivered by DHL at the end. But god knows why before it reached DHL, your orders would go through numbers of handling companies - Yanwen is one of them - I dont get how they get Yanwen to handle their 'premium' service because what i know from the whole www, Yanwen is the worst. So at the end no difference in delivery times between premium and standard. So tip - just choose aliexpress standard shipping with tracking.

You also need to have extra patience when chat with the customer service. Apart from the annoying copy-pasting-without-even-read-your-question habit, they also can be shamelessly deny everything when you got everything right. They would say oh everything is normal, please rest assured we do our best etc etc etc. A bit like a north korean explaining how great things are in Pyongyang & everyone's happy. An example was when I have problems with Ali Express Premium Shipping, - this cs girl Barbara or Jenna or Christine or whatever the name was - shamelessly saying that I have picked the wrong one. She's happily saying that to get things faster, I should have chosen the Ali Express Standard (free) and not Ali Express Premium (Paid).
When they start to do that just hung up because the more you ask questions the more annoyed you will be. You can scream, jumping up and down they won't give a s... t.
So tip - never pick ali express premium. If you want faster go with DHL or EMS. Or even standard China Post registered. This way you can be sure that no companies like Yanwen will be handling your stuff.

Tips to deal with slow-non-responsive sellers - don't confirm your order immediately after you receive. Give them lesson. The time they delay the shipment is the time they should wait for the money to be released. If they ask just say 'Don't worry, you will get it soon'.

Always take photo of the received item when unpacking and unboxing.

Only for non-important fun stuff. Maybe not suitable if you are doing business as the shipping time is really unpredictable. Even if you choose DHL. I see they are trying to organize the shipment system which seems to be a mess but not quite there yet.

Everything on AliExpress is fake. The sellers are fake, their positive feedback is fake, the pretty pics of shiny, eye-catching products are fake, most of the positive reviews are fake.

You're somewhat safe when buying cheap, crappy things, but once you decide to go big and order an expensive phone or other expensive products, chances are that you're never going to get it. Why? Because AliExpress is full of scammers with rigged positive feedback and they're all hand in hand with AliExpress.

You, as the buyer, have no real protection and no control over your order. If the seller decides that they're not going to send your product, there's nothing you can do. AliExpress won't step in for you because they always side with the "sellers" - more like scammers.

I wish that people would read these reviews before deciding to order anything on AliExpress. That would put AliExpress out of business in a few weeks.

I've lost 270 euros because of these fraudsters. Never again. AliExpress, f u! I hope you "die" soon.

Where is my order?
November 12, 2017

I placed 2 orders with this company. One came in and the other one has not shown up but has been paid for (10/7/17) and when I try to contact them through their customer service, I get no replies and unable to log in. I will not recommend this site again nor will I use it; this is a company that cannot be trusted.

Have just given up ob ever getting a refund from ALiExpress OR the Seller of a commercial meat slicer paid USD783. Received crushed and broken and told to return for refund. Cost to do so USD300. Challenged request and was assured that after the return period expired I would not have to return the item due to cost (USD1083 to refund USD783 maybe?). When return expired and made my claim was told have to wait 9 days more until today for an "automatic" appeal to happen whereupon I was assured I would receive the refund... what a joke.! Now told matter finished, seller paid and have to take it up with them for any refund. These guys are nothing but thieves, frauds and CANNOT BE TRUSTED... DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM
