Because of my location, it's often difficult to find a lot of books, especially music collections, so I appreciate any option that can deliver high quality products to me.
I found the book I wanted listed for a sweet price which was pleasant considering how rare it had been to find a viable option for.
The time between placing my order and the delivery arriving was exactly 5 weeks which was quite long and worrying, however I can blame that on my location rather than the service.
Overall, I'm really satisfied with my experience and will likely be using it again soon.

I'm always amazed at the selection of textbooks available on this site and the fact that they nearly always get delivered to my door from America (USA -> AUS). I've been using this site for well over 15+ years now and I'll keep going back when and if I need a particular textbook.

I neede 3 books for my book club reading. I found them all at great prices. They were all in excellent condition and arrived within an acceptable time frame.

Received this out-of-print CD (originally sold at Starbuck's!) very quickly. It is used & described as being in good condition—I haven't tried to play it yet, but it does have significant scuffing on one side. Fingers crossed.

When I order a foreign language book or video I am rarely able to do so in the US and I cannot order from Poland because of the currency issue so I am grateful when I can find something in this country.

Someone needs to fix the webpage for the Duran Duran (1981) CD. When you select the recommended iteration of this item for $3.99 (top of the page), your choice will stay true until you begin the payment entries, after that the item you are purchasing switches to HPB's Duran Duran-New Moon on Monday-New Moon on Monday / Tiger Tiger-Capitol Records-B-5309-Canada-Nm / N, which is a totally different Duran Duran offering on 7" vinyl, though at the same price as the other on CD. I recently received the latter when I ordered the former and thought it was my mistake, but upon trying to reorder the correct item, I see the functionality of the webpage was actually the culprit, as I almost accidently reordered the same incorrect item again! And would have, had I not noticed the item title switch. Subsequently, I had to select one of the other vendors (not HPB, a. K. a. Half Price Books) offering the CD at a higher price, to ensure the item still displayed as 'Duran Duran (1981) Duran Duran CD' when I completed the purchase. I'm still not entirely sure the correct item will be shipped but we'll see.

Easy to find books, offers a variety of conditions and prices, also I can choose a bookseller closer to me geographically to reduce fossil fuel use.

Alibris isn't competitive due to shipping costs. Even when 2 items are bought from the same store, the shipping cost is the same. That lowers incentive.

Find a way to streamline and lower shipping costs.

I found an old book that I was looking for. It was a used book but it.was in goor condition it looked almost new, Also the price was good so I was pleased.
