I began purchasing from Alibris when I began looking for other options than Amazon for obtaining books that I need. I can often find particularly a used copy of a book in very good condition for a very favorable price. The savings is a major reason I continue to return to Alibris to purchase reading materials.

I was very happy with my experience with Common Crow Books, who assisted me with a question I had, shipped the item promptly, and provided excellent customer service in every way.

It was vary nice and in a pretty good condition for the product I would recommend this place again for any one looking for old books

I put together a cart of 8 carefully selected books for a research paper I'm writing. When I reset my password, my cart emptied and there was no way to get back to that cart. I had to go back and reselect each of the books again, which set me back, time-wise, by quite a bit.

I was disappointed that one if my books was canceled right after placing my order. If there's something you want don't hesitate because someone else will snatch it up.

Frustrated with website blocking me from ordering. I have to make multiple attempts just to order one book. I have ordered from Albris lots of time before with no difficulties.,

Quick, easy, found what I was looking for. Had sufficient search criteria allowing me to be specific in what I was searching for.

I found all of the books I paid for and prices I very much appreciate and afford. The website was very easy to use. I will be coming back to purchase more books in the future, once I get all of the ones read that I just ordered!

I like that you can choose the state of the book you want, i. E. fair, good, etc. I have not received anything other than what I wanted.

When I first saw the alibris name I was impressed that they used the latin word for book. I used to have stickers for the inside of my books that said ExLibris____(from the library of) where I wrote my name under a unicorn and rainbow motif. Then I thought about the prefix A sometimes meaning not, and still consider it an odd name for a book-selling website, but I was easily won over by the ease of use, selection, and great prices!

All though one of these items was a little more than I would of wanted to
pay,(it was the only copy offered) one of the other items was esp. Affordable.
It works out in the end. So great!

The order seem to take quite a long time to arrive, but it was over the Christmas season so I guess there's a reason for that. The book I ordered was an excellent condition and I'm very pleased with the order..

The selection is as extensive as amazon, the prices as good or slightly better, and the postage definitely better. Delivery is not as fast, but if you're not in a crazy hurry for the book, that's fine. If you want to know more about the book's contents, look it up on amazon then if you still want it shift to alibris for purchase.

Hidden shipping fees exposed only at final tally, even with consolidations, becomes a huge financial stake. Cost equals prices for books... where's the savings?
Competitors do a much better job with their shipping fees.

I got a little confused with some of the links. I thought I was narrowing the list that was displayed for an author, but got a new genre open with other authors added.

Completly regular, just had to buy the book, didnt have to worry about delievery at all.
I was even contacted by their email before the predicted time frame ended to know if the book had already arrived, which though it did not, it did arrive 2 days later - before the predicted time-frame limit had ended.
