Delighted with the condition of the book I'd ordered on Oct 15th 2025. It reached me a few days before its 'eta' and impressed me with the quality of this purchasing experience. Thanks again to Alibris and to the seller who shipped it to me.

This is my third time ordering from Alibris.com. The items have been true to the quality they claim it to be. I would recommend.

This website is very easy to use and the book I looked for is available in hardback for my personal library and a class I am starting in soon with my Rabbi and congregation.

I ordered a book from Alibris, expecting delivery to take a couple of week, based on past experience. I was pleasantly surprised to see the book show up in about a week, which is excellent. Also, the book was identified as Good, with a noted crease on the cover. I have to say this book looks as good as any New book I've ever purchased. It is in way better condition that was stated in the description. Both the delivery and the condition make me a VERY happy customer. I will be happy to order from Alibris and Bookmonger in the future.

While the book is well intact and otherwise clean, all the pages are turned deep yellow from age and makes it hard to enjoy the read. Sadly I am tossing the book for this reason.

Books were as described or better. Price was reasonable. I had the issue that extra book was sent which i did not order. Copy of used book which i ordered and same book (new) which i did not order. Now i have extra book which i did not order, paid for it, and do not know where to return it. I did send an email to the sender without any reply.

It was difficult for me to discover what was improper with my order, which was using the state code rather than the entire word of the state. I might have found it quicker if the instruction was written in a bright red format.

Found the textbook I needed to teach my class this semester (yes professors have to buy books too sometimes.) Arrived in great time and exactly as described.

Book was promptly delivered but with the package torn wide open. Book was labeled to not be in perfect condition (in this case, it turns out, severe foxing), but also came with different cover than advertised.

I use Alibris for any book that id hard to find or if i need many of something because the price is so often right. Whenever i tell someone about how easy it is to find what you need and get it reasonably they make note.

Very good selection. Reasonable prices. Easy to locate the music you are looking for. Descriptions assist in making a good choice. Nice work!

I have been shopping Alibris for many years and have always found what I want at a reasonable price and received the books on time.

The order was for a softcover book. A hardcover book was received instead. Customer Service did not initially answer if an exchange for the softcopy was available and only proposed a book return. After another inquiry Customer Service stated only a return was possible and that expedited shipping charges would not be covered by Alibris. There was not even an apology for the wrong book version that was delivered and the inconvenience caused. Other online booksellers that I had similiar issues with, provided both apologies and compensation for their mistake.

I ordered a Criterion Collection version of Brazil on DVD, with 3 DVDs in an outer case. When it arrived, the outer case was completely shattered, which was very disappointing, as the outer case is one of the main reasons I ordered this set. I have all of the DVDs rubber-banded together now. I reached out to the seller and asked if they would at least partially refund me. To my surprise and delight, they apologized and refunded me totally, telling me to keep the DVDs or donate them rather than return them. They went above and beyond to make it right. The seller was Half-Price Books.

Book selection is wonderful.
Check out is worrisome. You have to input means of payment first before you see the total, or if the free shipping/coupons have been applied. Such method is ripe for abuse.

Didn't like the idea that you said that I would get $5 off and then once I hit the okay button you said that I have to spend $45 first after that's called manipulation so I'm so disappointed
