I depend on Alibris for finding books out of print or expensive. Searching is easy. Descriptions of condition are less than generous; books marked fair are usually good or very good. Shipping is fast. Hooray for a better option than you-know-who.

I found several things I wanted to buy (I always do) but had to make two separate orders to ship some books to my sister and some to me. I purposely chose my books from one sender to make the shipping simpler but they came in two different packages several days apart! I thought they would ship together. I don't know yet if this happened to my sister, too. That said, both arrived in great shape and I am happily reading something I really love.

Wide ranging DVDs and books. If you can't find it here, you can't find it anywhere. Never had a bad experience here and all the vendors are very receptive. Anything you want you'll find here. Books, DVDs, CDs, I have tried them all.

I got into an unresolvable loop with online ordering. I thought I unchecked that mailing and billing were the same. Apparently not. I was shipping to a friend. The 'system' thought I was using her address for the billing on my cc. I could not get back to modify that entry or edit the billing address. Very frustrating. I finally opted for PayPal - which had its own problems.
Worked fine on computer, but on Android I couldn't change the delivery address (for a gift). It got stuck on MY address as "default" and wouldn't change.
You allowed me a purchase a book that was not actually available. Now my Christmas gift will arrive days later than my initial order! You should at least have compensated me with free expedited shipping on the new order!
And then the coupon code I used on the first order was no longer available on the second order because "you used that code too many times". Are you kidding? I used it once on an order that YOU cancelled on me. I should be able to use the same coupon code again.
Overall, as my first order with a new company goes, this has been really $#*!ty. But the good news is that there's so many OTHER places I can buy books.
My package arrived 4 days late and when it arrived the edges of the spine of my book were damaged from it not being in a box only in plastic wrap
Good site. Not a complete as it use to be. Certain books seem to be untenable. Like most corporates, afraid and self-censor, which for a book seller is sad, but the progressive are nasty.
Easy to use and you quickly find what you need with good booksellers.
I think that when a person has multiple books in their cart that somehow the computer should try to group as many books as possible from the same seller that way it saves the customer money on shipping and save on packaging, which is better for the environment.
1 book was a little dirty and 1 had a slight imprint. But over all out of the 18 books I bought they were in wonderful condition and shipped in a reasonable time.

On my phone when I want more information on a seller's copy of the book the new page did not have more information clearly. In fact I had to find the place where I had to click again for book description. Alibris is not the best site for phone search.
