I always check to see if the DVD is blu-ray because I don't have that kind of player. I just wish those inputting the data would like it correctly.

Would have liked to see other books from first seller based on interests, but subject search was not very promising. (Not sure if author search also didn't work or if I was just unlucky.)

This was a book I already owned in paperback but not in hardcover. It's available no where for a reasonable price besides here

Excellent selection of books. I always see a lot of different price options for a book title. I also like that I see where each book will ship from. I prefer to order from a seller who is closer to me for a smaller carbon footprint.

This is the first time that I purchased CD's from the music section. I am very pleased with my purchases--I listen to them all the time.

I already ordered my book once, only to wait more than two weeks for it to not show up and for it to say it's refunded! Doubting that the seller ever actually mailed it. :/

I had to order this book twice because the first seller, GreatBookPrices, messed failed to ship the book. Here is what happened. After a week where no tracking number was provided I contacted the seller. They explained the book had not been shipped. That made no sense. The Alibris site said the book had been shipped. The seller also said that they ship books within a week. Alibris requires that shippers send out books within 2 days. So the seller was not following the rules of selling through Alibris.

The contradictions from the seller mounted. Different customer service representatives had different excuses. Eventually a customer service just canceled the order. At least they did refund the cost.

But refunding the monetary cost does not refund the cost of time wasted.

I reached out to Alibris customer service. They responded with the information that the GreatBooks provided which was that the book was shipped. That put Alibris in a bad position since the seller provided false information to Alibris. Allbris customer service reached out to me agains after I posted this review, helped me see that they did respond to my original request for help and said they would contact GreatBooksPrices about the misinformation and failure to fulfill the original order.

Most purchases through Alibris are smooth. The books received are usually in excellent condition. I will take this ultimately to represent a failure on the part of the seller and will be wary to buy from them again.

Ordering and receiving the book was fine. This email asking if I'd recieved it was a hassle. It simply showed your order number - NOT what the item actually was requiring me to look back in my records ( I order a lot of books I remember titles not vendors order numbers. Next time I won't respond as it took too much time with out useful information you could hav e provided.

I recently ordered a DVD of Amadeus. The DVD that I received was year 2009 version and it clearly states on the back cover: "Alternate Music Only Track Showcase...". This means that the DVD audio is only the score from the movie. There is no dialog. WTF? That info is not made clear in the Item Details. I want a version that has both dialog and music. The copy I put on hold says it's dated 1984, when the original movie came out. So I sent an email to HPB Dallas asking if it has full audio or only the music. The problem, compounding my issue - is that I have to wait 2 days to hear back from them about my desired info. Bur you only hold my order for 12 hours. So I can wait and possibly lose my purchase. Or cough up more money for more of the wrong merchandise. I don't go to Vegas, but I did gamble here. Your po

I bought a textbook, it is in very good condition and very cheap. I found a free pdf of the textbook the day before my physical copy arrived.

User-friendly web purchasing. Fast delivery. The quality of the product exceeded expectations. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Good website, but to send to UK it is estimated to take 21 - 31 days for shipping. This is a LOT longer than receiving goods from other Companies. Perhaps this should be looked into
