Ordered books and cds for christmas from 3 different retailers. Two arrived on time and the third shortly after. Been using Alibris for years for used goods and find it a great alterntive to the larger online retailers.

The book I ordered was a gift. The notice I received stated book was shipped same day I ordered it. No tracking was provided. It was 2 weeks before the item arrived. Once it arrived the book was in very good condition. Except for shipping, it was a good experience.

One book I ordered - The Reason for God - was listed as "Fine/Like new" but came with the physical binding wore off on the top and bottom, down to the pages. Book should have been listed as "Poor" in which case I would not have wasted $7. Turned in a report on it and never heard back. Very disappointed.

I only bought one book this time. Perfect experience!
I hate books that have underlining and scribbled notes
So usually pay extra for "very good" condition and so far
So good. The book I got was pretty old but in like new
Condition with no stains or marks etc.
Love Alibris!

I've had two separate orders cancelled from different sellers so far. I'm assuming at least one of these books will cancel as well. It's a bit annoying because it tells me a day or two later.

You seriously need to update the site to 2025 standards, design, and functionality. It looks and acts like 2010 at the newest. Sorry. 😞

Hard to find all my choices with one distributor and save on shipping. Never have coupons until after I buy and they are limited by time.

Even though I know the author, he did not have enough multiple copies of his book at a book signing. Allbris had them at a great price.

It's easy to find and order what I'm looking for, and at a very reasonable price! Shipments are received quickly, packaged well, and in great condition!

My shopping experience with Alibris was great! They had the books I wanted at an unbelievable price (special sale). Ordering was easy. The first of 3 books I ordered came VERY quickly ansdid the second one. The third book took longer, but still reasonable time. Am very happy with Alibris (have ordered from them before.). Thank you for superb customer service!

I do like Alibris prices and their payment process is convenient but the review of purchase details (which book, how. Much paid, sent where, status of the order) is a bit more difficult. I never even got a notification when the book was delivered and the arrival (after shipping only 1 state away) was very late compared with expectation. Price was good, though, so if I'm not in a rush, I'll try to use Alibris again, but it is an underwhelming experience.

The books I ordered were soft cover and in good or fair condition. The used books look like they are brand new. I will continue to order my books from Alibris because their books are in better condition than described and their prices are much lower than where I usually order *sorry Amazon.

The condition of the book wasn't as good as I expected based on how it was labeled. Condition should have been poorer and price lower. It was a gift so I hoped it to be nicer.

My experience was excellent! I found a ton of books that I lost and the price point was great! No issues with shipping even during the holiday season.

The book I purchased was published in the early 2000's. I was surprised that there was a good selection to choose from. My library didn't have this book in print.

I looked for a book I read this year, 7 Women, by Eric Metaxas to purchase for Christmas presents for my daughter and daughter-in-law. I found a real bargain at Alibris. They had brand new copies purchased for some kind of class graduation. I got both for under $3 with combined shipping too!. Great way to save money and still enjoy great books. Thanks!

I work in a public library and I am often searching for books that patrons want to buy. I recommend this website to them. They come back and thank me.
