Confronted with a library book that was just going to be too large and difficult to read in the allotted time period. Same book (in excellent shape) available at a very discounted price. Seller was not next door but was in a reasonable distance from home hopefully facilitating delivery. And delivery was way quicker than expected. Alibris is my go-too book seller.
The vast library of available titles is a real asset when looking for specialized books that are generally unavailable for sale or even from libraries. Not a regular buyer but when I find a desired title, Alibris is my "go-to" resource

Easy ordering and processing my order
I ordered the book, received it in record time, and had it all read two days later. I'm writing a podcast, and the research for that podcast must be completed in a timely manner. I was very pleased with how quickly this process unfolded.
Apparently the seller was in the middle of moving states with their business and I never received a proper tracking number until almost 3 weeks after ordering my purchase and being notified it shipped. I waited an additional 2 and a half weeks before it finally arrived
Placed an order 4 days ago and received acknowledgement. Just now got notice not available. "Sincerely sorry." If you were merely sorry, I'd be upset, but since you're sincerely sorry, I guess everything's OK.
I wish it were easier to see where an item would ship from, or better yet, that we could filter options by closest geographical option, in order to better weigh the "cost" of shipping something not only money-wise, but ecologically.
Currently replacing a prior order of DVD set which did not play. Pursuing refund for the first attempt. Coupon to help make up for shipping cost was appreciated. Should have avoided new seller without much track record - despite product billed as "new" and "in original packaging."
The prices were good and the books arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The review robot insists that I make this at least 100 characters long, but the first sentence is all that I have to say. You will gain no information from further reading of this review.
I wish you had a way to browse by seller, ay e broken down by categories because some sells discount shipping for additional items. But overall I like your site very much - I trust you and feel good about buying from your site. I especially like the real rankings of sellers. I would pay more to. Up the same thing from a higher ranked seller, p.
Typically, providing payment info closes the transaction. Here, there is another click required, and that page looks just like the pre-payment page. Somewhat confusing, and you may lose a customer occasionally because they dont know to follow up.
Excellent experience except the delayed receipt. Is what it is. I always receive my Alibris order. I get that the sourcing may cause delays. Just order early without hard deadlines, and Alibris always comes through. We ARE typically dealing with hard-to-get titles, so order accordingly. Order accordingly in advance of your required receipt date. Alibris is a boutique source. Please respect that their craft of sourcing valuable books may take a little longer to receive your order. Live slow and with value well.

I have been looking for a specific Bible that was out of print and to buy it off eBay the cost is extremely expensive. I thought I'd put my search in Alibris and see if anything came up. I actually forgot all about it. About 6 months later I received an email that they had located the Bible for me. I purchased a practically brand new version at a fraction of the cost you find anywhere else. I was very happy with the entire transaction.
I wasn't getting a response from messages to seller after several days, so I contacted Alibris client services. They responded the next day with relevant information and I received my book later that day.
Your store has on multiple times have found the older hard to find movies which has made me consider to only order from you. I also have gotten my order before the delivery date. I was really impressed with them then.
I ordered 4 books from 2 sellers. All were rated "very good", but the quality varied from no markings and barely worn to multiple notes, highlighting, and underlining on every page. The last one definitely did not qualify as "very good" quality in my opinion.
I received my order pretty fast. The cd works amazing. It definitely is a good deal buying dvds for the price and having it shipped within a few days. I would continue shopping for second hand dvds through this site.

I've order several times from Alibris and I have never been disappointed. Newest editions are not always necessary and older editions can be a great money saver.
Received eMail giving a discount but apparently there was a minimum purchase amount required to qualify, a bit misleading. But no problem is finding the title from several sellers to meet my budget. Always enjoy shopping with you guys! Mississippi Jim

Book took a full month Mar 9 to Apr 8 to arrive, but after receiving tracking number I was able to see it sitting, then moving again. I appreciate Alibris checking to see if it had been delivered and giving me the tracking #. I am enjoying reading this book and appreciate your assistance making sense of the delay.
