This is the worst pay in 4 instalments company ever. I wanted to purchase an item on Amazon for $105.00 and pay in 4 instalments and I was declined by affirm. I tried Sezzler and Afterpay and got approved right on the spot!

Stay away like the plague. They will not help you when a seller has taken your money and not delivered in time and their customer support is abysmal in its incompetency ignoring bad sellers using their platform to scam buyers.
I made a purchase at ticketmaster through the affirm and I never received the tickets or a receipt for my purchase, I made the claim two hours after my purchase and they said I had to call ticketmaster, I made more claims and they never did anything to get it They did not give me back my money nor did they give me a reason, that is, they washed their hands of it. They charge me every month and incidentally they reported the credit to me. This company is a fraud, do not use it.
Buy Tv from Walmart cancelled because the full amount was taken off my debit card so it said. Then checked again only the down payment was. So went back to order again said was not approved. We added Affirm payments to our website thinking if major companies use them, they must be a good payment processor. We were WRONG. They committ to paying out merchants in 3-5 days but it's been months and we have not seen a single payment. They have no merchant support phone number and don't respond to any emails. We have tried contacting them at every email and phone number we can find and have been told either it's the wrong department and they can't help OR receive no answer or response. Merchants BEWARE they will collect payments from your customers and never pay you for them! And there is nothing you can do about it.
Omg worst company ever to use. At this moment I am STILL trying to recover my account and on hold with customer service and they have yet to very MY identity accurately! I want to use curse words! Effing FaceTime me so I can prove I am who I am. They suck anyway! Are they based out in India or wtf. Shouldn't take this long to recover and authorize my account.
I placed an order on Amazon and it was taking forever to ship, so I canceled the order. Amazon refunded the order, but Affirm charged me a $20.00 authorization charge that they would not dispute after a whole month and a half trying to get the fee dropped. Customer support is terrible and no help. I still had to pay the authorization charge for a product I canceled. They even use intimidation tactics like your payment is late and will be sent to Experian credit report within so many days.
I will never use Affirm again.
This company helped me purchase a phone from Samsung. Unfortunately, after months of going back and forth with Samsung and assurion the device was returned and refunded. However affirm continued to charge me for months for the returned item and put negative marks on my credit. I made several attempts to contact affirm about this. Just recently it was addressed but the negative marks remained due to their negligence and poor customer service. I was always in good standing on this loan until the item was returned. I was not going to pay on an item that I no loger had and was no longer responsible for. Try other options like pay pal, or afterpay. I would avoid this company
Purchased a Rolex watch through Affirm using Tradesy. Worst decision ever! The watch doesn't work, listing said in perfect working order. The horrible seller had a 4 return policy and I didn't realize the watch was defective until a week later. After incorrectly processing my dispute over a month finally spoke with a customer service agent that did it right. Mind you I had already submitted "evidence" they asked me to submit everything all over again, which I did. Email chats with Tradesy, videos of the watch not working and other emails from the seller. I get an email saying I have 14 days to submit additional evidence. 3 DAYS later they tell me my claim has been denied and I'm favor of the seller. Why? Because they are "honoring the return policy" WHAT? Waste my time, take up a month of my time and for what? You could have just said that a month ago. No "investigation" was done obviously. If I had purchased the watch through my credit card company they would have done something. Useless scammers!

I have over 800 credit score. Only wanted to use their service to save $300 on a new computer on NewEqq. After giving them all of my personal info, (against my better judgment) including my debit card info that would be used for reoccurring payments, they said my identity couldn't be verified so no $300 savings. This is the only company that I have even used my debit card info with in years. 3 weeks later... fraudulent transactions start showing up using pin less transactions. From where? Canada and California Hmm Isn't that where they are located? This financial phishing company needs to be shut down.
I have used Affirm for years, I have an account in good standing never 1 payment missed, and they are SUPER SPOTTY on whether they even allow you to get a new loan. I could be approved 1 day for a $900 purchase but denied the next for a $20 purchase, it's insane. I just avoid using them now. Use something like Sezzle if possible, don't rely on a company like this. They obviously just pick and choose based on interest rates, or possibly what they can get out of the deal. I don't use them anymore.
NO WHERE on their site do they say you can't use a credit card to make payments. Not until AFTER you agree to purchase something do you get to see the actual details of the "loan".
Affirm tried multiple times to get me to give them my bank account number. NEVER going to happen.
A credit card has more security against fraud than a debit card.
Which is why Affirm will only accept a debit card.
Solution, stop feeding the current bank account. Use that debit card to pay off the "loan" then get a new debit card so they can't use it without your knowledge.
Never use Affirm or the banks that support them: Celtic Bank, Cross River Bank, Evolve Bank & Trust.
I have been an Affirm customer for several years and as a Senior Citizen I can truly say this is one of the Best companies I have ever used as far as honest and fair practices. People listen, you can feel secure with EVERYTHING they promise in they're marketing. This company has more Integrity than most. I'm very very happy and comfortable using them. I would love to add a photo or video but don't know how, sorry.
I bought two items earlier this month and I got Ripped off, the items never came, the first item got lost and the second one never made it to my home, they said they came, but I know the lied I was home all day yesterday, I'm on disability. I tried contacting them. I was ignored. I will never buy anything from Affirm again.
PLEASE STOP YOURSELF FROM GETTING THIS TYPE OF LOAN! You are better off just saving your money to buy it all at once because this type of loan is really good at affecting your credit right away and when finally can pay it off they don't change your credit status right away. Is crazy how they can do us like that and when you do pay it off they don't work as fast as they do harm.
