I literally just had the same issue and upon reconciling my AMEX noticed that they have charged me for 8 months already with no account. Upon contacting their customer support, they don't have my email at all and continue to just say "you just forgot that you signed up" when in fact i have no account nor agreed to anything. All of a sudden then the customer support rep elevated his tone and began getting defensive and stating that then i signed up for a year subscription. There were so many stories that he created that made no sense. He ended up raising his tone even further and laughing followed by hanging up on me when i asked for proof. Such scammers and con artists at Adobe. So much fraud happening with this company.

Ordering from Adobe presents a mixed bag of experiences. On the plus side, their software solutions are renowned for their quality and performance, catering to the creative needs of professionals and enthusiasts alike. Additionally, the ordering process is straightforward, with options to customize and configure subscriptions to suit individual requirements. However, the downside is the inconsistency in delivery times. While some orders arrive promptly, others face unexpected delays without clear communication. Furthermore, the difficulty in reaching customer service for assistance adds to the frustration. In summary, while Adobe offers excellence in software solutions and customization options, improvements in delivery reliability and customer service responsiveness are necessary for a more seamless purchasing experience.

Paid for all Adobe products bundle on a monthly basis and decided to click the checkbox to try Adobe stock for free. They do NOT let you cancel Adobe Stock and charge you $30 a month for a whole year after that, or else charge an outrageous early cancellation fee of $150+, recently dropped to $90 due to recent billings. I just spoke with their outsourced customer service and they told me there is nothing they can do. I'm already paying a lot for their services and I'm definitely terminating after my term ends. Buyers beware.

Good product turned scam
December 21, 2023

The outrageously priced and seemingly unavailable one time licenses made me leery of the new subscription service. And my hunch was correct. Caught needing to convert a document and edit it for a class, I activated the "free trial". Forgot to cancel within 14 days, I see a monthly charge on my card, and found out they will charge you 50% of the remaining balance for year when I go to cancel "early". $89 dollars in my case. What a rip-off!

Horrible Customer Service
September 27, 2023

I am dissatisfied with Adobe's customer service. Despite multiple attempts to resolve an issue with excessive charges for unneeded licenses, I have received no resolution or refund. I have spoken with several representatives with heavy foreign accents that I cannot understand, and they have failed to follow up on their promises to address the issue. As a long-time user of Adobe Acrobat, I am disappointed in the decline of the company's customer service. My next step will be to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Adobe is a disgusting, evil company. Beyond using it for my education, I will never use anything adobe related again. I will advise my coworkers and classmates to do the same. Horrible greedy company that only cares about money.

Trash
October 26, 2023

I used photo shop one time 2 years ago and got charged 20 dollars a month til now. Then got a 14 day free trial of acrobat which then went on for 2 months before i caught on and they charged 21 dollars a month and i had to pay 100 dollars to cancel it. Thats over 700 dollars that they took out of my bank for a one time use and a 14 day free trial. Adobe are thieves!

Poor customer service
October 2, 2023

Get billed twice in a month on the same credit card, only have one device, one account and one email address but they can't figure out the second payment. They ask me to check with family and friends I may have shared my credit card with, ridiculous.

I just signed up for the trial of Adobe Illustrator. Every time I logged into my trial account the system was showing me I have this many days to purchase the full subscription. But then they automatically turned my plan into a full subscription and when I asked them why they did that, the representative said we had your credit card information already. When I tried to cancel the plan they asked me to pay a $104 cancelation fee. They will rip off their customers.

Pay to cancel?
August 7, 2023

You're cancelation policies are criminal. Your practices are criminal. You cannot require a payment to cancel or remove a card from your service. I have not used your $#*! in months yet you want me to pay for a cancelation? You're out your minds. I will NEVER use adobe products again for any reason. You're worst than a gym membership.

Scam with trial offer
October 22, 2023

I started the trial offer and then canceled before the trial end date and have continued to bill me and are now charging a cancellation fee of 89.95.

Be real careful with their trial offer.

Ps i have not used the extended version since first starting the trial.

A $109 cancellation fee?
October 29, 2022

A $109 cancellation fee? I'm already paying $20 a month for something I rarely use but still screwed when it turns out to be not useful and I no longer need the service. Welcome back to the `1950's era of pissing on clients and customer service. Next time we'll just get a free or nearly free PDF editing program as Adobe shoots its toes off one by one...

They charged me again for an already paid subscription and I am unable to speak to a human. Their platforms are confusing and frustrating after I have taken photoshop, illustrator, and more classes in college with great grades I am nearly unable to accomplish anything on these programs because all of my time is spent searching and having new stuff dumped on me.

I started a trial a year ago with Illustrator. I used it 1 time then found it was too full featured for what I needed (Paint was sufficient).

I then went to my account to try to cancel my subscription but I was not able to find the subscription listed.

Their help system is atrociously circular and automated. Clicking on 'help from real people' takes you to a 'virtual assistant'.

I decided to delete my account hoping that deletion would stop the repeated billing but it did not.

To date I have been charged 13 x 39.95 for using illustrator once and I cannot figure out nor find any support or way to stop them from billing me. Their phone support put me on hold forever and disconnects.

I think its quite accurate to describe this as a scam since a subscription should be relatively easy to cancel but this seems purposely designed to prevent subscription cancellation.

Nothing but blank screens. I open photoshop I get a blank grey screen. I open creative cloud I get a blank white screen. There is no customer support anywhere other than stupid bots with unhelpful answers. Then they charge me money to quit my annual subscription, even thought I've been subscribed for over 24 months. Absolute joke of a broken company.

My son bought one stock image and suddenly was enrolled in a year-long program. We were billed without permission or notification. Do NOT use Adobe stock photography for any purposes. And tell your friends to avoid the company at all costs.

Check your privacy, I never opted in for sharing my data for Machine Learning analysis (which is far worse than normal as it's probably collects all your data on the internet and then 'profile' you).
Subscription plan - unethical and sketchy.
Customer support - Indians that can only copy/paste after spending 10 minutes of researching Adobe website for correct info.

Bought Adobe through my school for $119 - got it registered - went to the activation website - non-existent. Help desk sent me to customer info - and they have put me off now. Don't bother purchasing.

I have bought other products such as MS Office and others, no problem -Adobe could use some of Microsoft's know-how in this realm.

It looks like they have stuck me with at least $100 for the acrobat plan. It was supposed to be free until cancellation but now I can't cancel without paying $100.

My review was late, but they use to be great in the past until they wanted more money out of a consumer's wallet. Give big thanks to alternative software that don't do this cr@p.

Basically on May 5,2013 Adobe decided to make their software only available as "software as a service" rather than selling it as a product from a store. This means you don't actually own it, but renting it. The only good thing I can say about this is that it cost $10 at the cheapest, but as everyone knows, monthly payments will eventually be more expensive than just what you're buying if they were to allow it.

Imagine if you can only rent laptop and not buy it, that would be terrible.

Overview

Adobe's reputation is marked by a duality of high-quality software solutions and significant customer service challenges. While many users praise the performance and versatility of Adobe's products, they frequently express frustration over billing practices, particularly regarding subscription cancellations and unexpected charges. Customers report difficulties in reaching effective support, often encountering unhelpful automated systems and language barriers. The inconsistency in service delivery and perceived lack of transparency contribute to a growing sentiment of dissatisfaction. Overall, while Adobe excels in product quality, it must urgently address its customer service shortcomings to enhance user trust and satisfaction.
