I needed to get a refund for canceling my subscription a day late before the subscription was renewed. I was able to do so very quickly and effectively by calling customer support!

I owned Acrobat Pro11. I bought a new computer and was moving Acrobat 11 over to it and when I put my product registration in, I re eived a message saying the number was no longer valid (something to that effect). So I contacted Adobe via their chat support and was basically told too bad about the software I LEGALLY OWNED and spent money on, it was no longer valid and that was that EXCEPT I could have a free 30 days on their new platform. I told him no, I won't be using Adobe any longer.

Adobe isn't honoring purchases of the past. You either move to their new system or just forget using what you bought. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

I upgraded my plan today, my credit card was charged and then I was told that I need to wait for 24 hours for them to 'review' my order. That alone raised a red flag and then I get an email telling me that my order was canceled even though my card has been charged. I tried to resolve this with their customer support. The representatives in the chat option have issues with functional literacy and kept transferring me from one person to another. I demanded to speak with the supervisor after this happened for the fourth time and have now been waiting for over half an hour to speak with this person. So lose all hope you who enter the hellhole of paid plans.

Honest
November 17, 2022

I was on the phone 6 and a half hours and never accomplished a thing. First I couldn't understand the customer help no matter how hard I tried. My issue was never resolved. Adobe products have become to bloated with too much fat in them. Difinately changing. Customer service is non-existant!

If you are considering purchasing an Adobe product, DON'T! They're practices are are shady to say the least. Call center in India, adds charges for products you didn't sign up for, and outrageous hidden cancellation fees. Sure what they do is "legal", but their lack of transparency illustrates DECEPTION. You've been WARNED.

I love adobe, it's a really good brand. I love that they don't only make for like editing videos, they make editing for picture (Photoshop) and editing for video (Premire). It's pretty good that they have a free trail for like a month or so!

I spent years working on a website that within months disappeared because they decided it wasn't worth it for them. They decided they weren't going to host the websites and oh by the way, we aren't going to even allow you to use this product that built them anymore and oh, by the way, you won't have access to any of the information on your websites once they are closed down. It was such a waste of 3 years of work. Trust me, they will wipe out your entire website with no way of transferring it and it will not even phase them. I will never buy or use another adobe product. They are the epitome of corporate greed.

I love Adobe products, and I work with Adobe Photoshop CS6 (raster), Illustrator (for vectors) and InDesign (desktop presentations) at work and from home to, as part of my job, and as hobby to. And that probably because there's nothing out there currently that can really compare to the power of Photoshop. Thus, the main disadvantage is always the price, with which I have not yet. Accustomed.

I downloaded their "free trial" and couldn't get it to work. It turns out none of the free trial features are meant to work! NONE! You can't do anything with it other than look at the screen and your photo on it. The salesperson immediately tried to up-sell me. I know upselling is considered an ok business practice today. But I don't like it. It's dishonest and pushy. If you have a good product or service, let it sell itself. Be honest. If you say free trial. Give a free trial. Adobe is really dishonest and their Indian answering service is rude and sexist. It took talking with 4 different "technicians" before they admitted none of the features would work with the free trial. They are not technicians, they are salespeople. Totally dishonest rude company. I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO ACCEPT THIS MODERN FORM OF BUSINESS AS OKAY!

Purchased the plan, through a free 7 day trial.
Went to end it after use for one month.
Only to realise that in the small print they have cancellation fees - $170!
Do not sign up!

Adobe has horrible customer service. They basically called me a liar because of their error. Fortunately, I had paid through PayPal, so they can deal with them!

I am a professional designer, and 20 year veteran of the adobe creative programs. Adobe only makes things worse for their customers while offering mild upgrades to their programs over time that are purely aimed at making sure industries are on uneven update paths, forcing everyone to keep buying software that is only marginally better than the previous version.

This is what monopolies look like- their product is worse than it's ever been, things like adding extra steps to save your files to your COMPANY SERVER instead of their SUBSCRIPTION CLOUD STORAGE SERVICE, and they continually ask for more money, because there is no other option in the designer space.

I recently purchased, or more correctly upgraded, Adobe Essentials 14 (from version 10). I admit that I did not use Adobe Essentials 10 very much primarily because the program had frequent crashes, was inexorably slow, and lacked a number of features that free software like Picasa offered and were much better at. Nothing seems to have changed with version 14.
I had numerous troubles just installing the program followed by numerous crashes when trying to import and/or use the features. I near as I can tell all they have done is keep the bugs but changed the interface, and while I am sure that there is more to the program, it still sucks which is why I stopped using it in the first place.
To give you an example: There are limited sort options - I would have thought that a "sort by date taken" would be a good option but it doesn't exist. However, the two most important features it lacked were the ability to keep its catalogue database up-to-date when I removed photos from my file system because using Essentials 10 was too laborious.
The second major problem was the amount of lime it took to operate on the database. Picasa is lightening fast in this respect, while Adobe Elements 10 is turtle slow and took hours to perform the same functions. In brief, I could not recommend this product to any one and I am planning to revert to Picasa until I can find a better product to catalogue, tag, and organize my photos.

Good products, but expensive. Great pdf software. Never used the full suite until the company I work for purchased it for me. Usually recommend, but there are decent free versions if you want cheap.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Like wow, such a well known brand and they can't get it together. Not only that, but their chat team takes FOREVER to type to you and has generic responses that don't even help. Such a waste of money too, their apps always have glitches.

Great products and a great company itself, though I`m still hesitating to decide if that subscription scheme was really necessary. But again - the products are just perfect!

I will never use Adobe again, I prefer to use GIMP for the rest of my life.

I subscribed to a plan apparently (I don't remember it, I only saw that my credit card has been getting charged every month with 25 EUR).

But when I tried to unsubscribe, they charged a fee of 75 EUR just for unsubscribing!

Avoid at all cost, thieves and cheats!

I downloaded a document that should have went into my computer, but it commandeered by Adobe, after today, I have rased all Adobe products from all systems and I will not will not be hijacked again. I trued to put the document, that was originally from an outside source and Adobe hijacked the document, and every time I try to open it with Adobe the app off the web would open. It was horrible experience, and now, there Spyware has hijacked my laptop.

Adobe is holding my laptop hostage. First the wanted 5.00 a month so I did a free trial, then it wouldn't go on if I didn't agree to 20 a month now every time I open word the app that I deleted open from the internet

ADOBE IS HOLDING MY LAPTOP HOSTAGE AND THE RANSOM IS 25.00 A MONTH.
I only needed one document, not filled out. Now, 100s to get Adobe out of my computer.

Overview

Adobe's reputation is marked by a duality of high-quality software solutions and significant customer service challenges. While many users praise the performance and versatility of Adobe's products, they frequently express frustration over billing practices, particularly regarding subscription cancellations and unexpected charges. Customers report difficulties in reaching effective support, often encountering unhelpful automated systems and language barriers. The inconsistency in service delivery and perceived lack of transparency contribute to a growing sentiment of dissatisfaction. Overall, while Adobe excels in product quality, it must urgently address its customer service shortcomings to enhance user trust and satisfaction.
