In the past 10 years there was a purchase of two wall air conditioners at ABT you would think with the amount of money spent on the air conditioners they would continue working there are older ones in our condo building still working. I wish I could give ABT a good review but I can't it is 90° in my condo I can barely breathe I am disabled and cannot afford to purchase another one
My telephoned order went terrifically smooth under Salesperson Benjamin R. Great communication, quick confirming emails, all addresses and contact/shipping! 00% correct. My microwave model was tough to find in my area and Benjamin was able to assess stock and ship out the unit. It arrived within 48 hours, which was very pleasing. I'd do business with Abt again without any reservations. Pricing was spot on and very competitive. Highest recommendations for this firm.
I wish I could them ZERO! I returned their defective microwave and store signed for it, (UPS have confirmation), now Monica and Kal claiming they never received it. It's been over 3 months and they still refusing to issue refund and they both being extremely rude on the phone. Monica yelled and hunged up the phone on me on multiple occasions, which is not acceptable. Kal is a shame of this company, claimed to be a gen manager. He acknowledged he received the item but still won't issue refund and stated "it's your problem!". This company needs to FIRE these people and don't let them harass customers anymore!
Everything went well from start to finish! Best customer service from online, through email, over the phone, in person and with delivery! We made the purchase on December 23 and had them delivered on January 22 per our request as our kitchen was still being updated. For the delivery day, (and the day before) the communication through automated text was an added bonus and made the whole experience effortless! This my first major appliance purchase ever and I had only two options for the quality of items I was looking for: Grand or ABT. ABT won for service and cost of Products! Hands down!
ABT needs to improve their online ordering system as it only leads to frustration and a waste of time.
If you purchase a gift for someone and ship it out to a different shipping address then their overreactive fraud system automatically cancels the order and marks it as fraud. Then they send an email of your order cancellation and tell you to call their line... Only thing is their line goes straight to voicemail and the item you got as a gift conveniently sells out and all they have left to say is too bad!
HOW ABOUT YOU CALL THE CUSTOMER TO CONFIRM THE ORDER INSTEAD OF AUTO CANCELLING IT & MAKING ME JUMP THROUGH LOOPS? I understand fraud happens and there is risk management but this is 101 stuff to resolve. CALL THE CUSTOMER
Never had I such a poor ecommerce experience and shame on me for trying a new retailer such as ABT. Never again

I have purchased all my appliances for the last 30 years from Abt, including a subzero refrigerator, and never had a complaint. However, 13 years ago I bought 2 dishwashers (for $3000 total), which never worked well. Abt sent out service people multiple times, and I was told this was how modern dishwashers work, since there are no longer phosphates in the dishwasher detergent. So, I used them as dish racks. When my kitchen was recently redone, the dishwashers had to be removed temporarily. The contractor told me they had been originally installed improperly. The contractor's plumber reinstalled them, and it's a miracle, they work! I had several conversations with the stores's general manager, who said it was too long since the installation, and I had no photographic proof for what I said. He finally agreed to reimburse me for the cost of the installation ($300), to be paid as an Abt gift card, which I refused. I had asked for the cost of the reinstallation (about $700) and the manager refused. After being a loyal customer, spending tens of thousands of dollars there, I will never go back. They do not stand behind their work.
I was very happy with the customer service we received from Abt. When I chose the cooktop we purchased, they provided info on shipping time etc. with UPS right away. I knew I couldn't be home to sign for it at the scheduled time so I contacted customer service via the chat feature they offer. Within minutes someone contacted me by email and then by phone to try to arrange a different shipping time with UPS. It was rescheduled for the time I asked by the next day. Then UPS dropped the ball and didn't deliver it as promised, Again Abt went to bat and made sure it was delivered the next day. They went the extra mile for us and were really fast and thorough in their customer service as well as delivery of the product. It was in great shape when it arrived. At a time in our lives when so many appliance products are scarce, they had a lot of product availability. When I checked Lowe's & Home Depot their appliances were not available for 6 months! Abt had it within 2 days. Very satisfied!
My appliance was delivered to the wrong address. I contacted them to resolve the problem. They would not do so. The appliance was left sitting in the rain, on someone else's property.

I have attempted to order a dishwasher from Abt online, and it is impossible to get a response to a question before I finalize the order. Emails, chats, etc are ignored or I'm given a robotic response. If this is how they provide service to a potential customer, I can only imagine the service after purchasing the product.
Updated my kitchen and bought all my appliances from ABT - high-end refrigerator, builtin oven stove top, oven range, microwave and dishwasher.
This was a year ago... I had to replace my refrigerator 2x, and now my Thermador oven is faulty (stopped working after I used the self clean option) and someone just came out today to replace the motherboard and left without my oven working so now I have to wait yet again at least a week before someone else can come out - I was told by 2customer service representatives and a technician that I shouldn't use the self-clean mode on the oven "bc this sort of thing happens," so why would a sales rep sell me an oven like that knowing the self-clean mode is faulty? I am not happy about that - I'm very disappointed with ABT. My mother had a similar situation with her washing machine - 3x she had to replace her washer in one month- that's appalling. In the past year I've heard poor feedback but now I've experienced it. I will never buy another item from ABT again.
I am very frustrated with the customer service aspect of this company. I have been dealing with my ice machine for our subzero fridge not working due to a valve needing to be replaced. 2 times they have brought the wrong part and have to reorder the correct part again, which is delaying the whole process. It has been at least 2.5 months this issue has not been resolved.
Its not the fact about how long it takes the parts to come in but the fact that they technicians are given the wrong parts continuously causing us having to go out and by our own ice and take time away from work to make sure we are available for when the techs come out.
I asked to see if we could be compensated some how with a gift card or credit and was informed they do not do that and even asked to speak with a manager about and was given the same answer.
At this point I am disappointed. I really did like this company but they don't seem to have the same values when it comes to servicing once you buy!
I ordered an UHD Samsung TV at the best price around. It arrived even sooner than projected, and was perfect right out of the box. I've ordered other smaller electronics items from Abt and had similar smooth experiences.
POORLY PACKAGED ITEM ARRIVED BROKEN. I HAD TO PACKAGE UP THE ITEM AND RETURN IT VIA UPS. WHY COULDN'T I JUST TAKE A PHOTO OF IT AND SEND IT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF THE REPLACEMENT ARRIVES BROKEN I AM REQUESTING A CREDIT. I'LL BUY THE SAME ITEM LOCALLY DESPITE THE HIGHER PRICE. LOWER PRICE IS SOMETIMES NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION.
The sales people were great. We bought a Kitchen Aid side by side with a bottom freezer. We had service calls 3 times on the ice maker in the first 6 months, and the ice maker was replaced. It works fine as long as it dumps the ice, sometimes I have to manually do it. The About 6 months later the unit leaked water on our kitchen oak floors and warped the wood. The service people came out, the cause was a quarter size rubber valve that melted closed, causing the water to drain improperly. The service man said they have known about this for sometime. I asked why Kitchen Aid or ABT didn't advise the owners. He didn't know. I file a claim with thru ABT who referred me to Kitchen Aid, who is putting me thru the hoops. I highly recommend you buy an extended warranty. Two stars for not contacting us about the problem.
We needed several panasonic 4 line phones for our office and I found this store online carrying them for much less than at office depot. I was skeptical at first as the price was significantly lower though reassured as they are an authorized dealer. Phones were brand new and everything works.
ABT has been around since before the internet and my mom remembers buying her washing machine from them before she was married. They are a trusted company and if they have what you need cheaper than other online estores I would recommend going to ABT. Delivery is a snap and always white glove treatment. They know how to run a business and treat their customers right.

When asking for further information regarding the return, you were unable to provide information or details. Upon reviewing your previous purchase history, we noticed a pattern of purchases always ending in a claim. This has happened on more than one occasion. Abt placed a UPS tracer on your shipment as a courtesy to you. Also, we have asked the customer to shop elsewhere.
