  • Staples

7/17/16

I honestly don't understand how Staples stays in business except that they are better than nothing or Walmart.

They seldom have a variety of product, often have none of a particular kind, and staffers/employees to get help from is nearly impossible.

  • Best Buy

Best Buy is a lot like Staples, they won't usually have what you want but can be found to have similar enough things, however they often have nothing like what you want. And the prices make you wish Walmart or Target had what you end up buying because you know you've overpaid... But unlike Staples or Walmart/Target, you can at least find staffers/employees to help, or at least try to help

  • Groupon

We now use Groupon for a TON of things, and next we are going to use their travel deals to Europe.

It is crazy great how many good deals we have gotten on GROUPON. It almost makes you feel like you are taking advantage of the vendors...

I HIGHLY & TOTALLY RECOMMEND GROUPON as your FIRST 'go to' for anything, and I mean anything.

And BTW, their customer service is great too, so if you have a problem, they actually DO FIX IT, and QUICKLY

  • Kmart

I love Kmart, its better than Walmart or Target, it is still within that same kind of store, but you just don't feel like you are so.

I go there every so often just to not shop at the others, I need to make it much more frequently, and if they had more grocery I sure would.

Same stuff as Walmart, maybe better organized in some cases, but you'll pay for it.

  • Amazon

7/17/16

Amazon is the greatest, the fastest, often the best price, and the customer service, albeit not in person, is FANTASTIC. Even when I forget to use a product within the 30 day refund/return deadline, they recognize that its a legit problem with an item and take care of me.

They have variety, they have competitive prices, they accept all forms of payment, they just ROCK

  • Walmart

Well its better than their stores, not as fast, but at least you go into dot.com knowing there are no employees to help you.

Prices are always competitive and why I keep going back all these years

  • Priceline

They owe me, now almost 10 yrs, $200 for a roundtrip ticket to Michigan that was unusable. They knew it and didn't give a flip.

I told them I needed to fly in on Thursday evening and out on Friday evening and they sold me a ticket that flew me in on Thursday evening but flew me out the very next morning - no time to even think about getting to my appointment much less trying.

Told them no sane person could think that I wanted to fly into MI for a sleepover and then fly immediately out, but they said I asked for Thursday in and Friday out and got it. NO REFUND

RUN FAR AND FAST FROM THESE GUYS, FAR AND VERY FAST

  • Designer Living

7/17/16

Seems to me people are fast to complain, but few actually file good reviews (thank you to those that do).

It seems to me the happy customers probably far out-weigh the unhappy ones and that is how this company stays in business.

I appreciated the reviewer who said they were glad they ignored the bad reviews and ordered anyway and was very happy - I'm ordering and I hope that I can write an equally good review.
