I have been ordering from Zulily for a number of years. Long enough that I just pay for postage once a year! That is a super bonus! At one time, you did not charge tax and that worked really well for a non-for-profit group that I ordered many things for. As you charge tax now, I sometimes have to pass unless it is a really good bargain. I have ordered a variety of items through the years; clothing, shoes, toys, puzzles and etc. The few times that I have had a problem with an order Zulily has generally taken care of the issue without many problems.
I find really cute things and very affordable for my grandkids. I also shop boxed on Zulily. I am really pleased with the products I receive.

I like to search items I like on Amazon, because I have Prime and shipping is free. This lets me know if I am really get a deal on an item or not. I try to stick with brands I know, because yes otherwise they seem to be items from China that don't fit or aren't made that well. Shipping has gotten slower and slower. Sometimes it is 4 to 6 weeks before I get the item and I forget that I order it. Does make for a nice surprise every once in awhile.
I dislike the return policy. I wish it was free to return (on all items would be nice) at least for the ones they take back. Or back in Zulily credit.

And their customer service is awesome! I have had to return a couple of items and it was hassle free along with getting credit for an item that broke during shipping and they give you notices if the item ordered didn't reach their facility in a timely manner and then they refund my money and give me store credit for having to cancel an item that I didn't mind waiting for.
Some items do take longer to ship, but I don't mind since it feels like its a nice present from me to me when I get it delivered! And the free shipping offers are totally worth it!

I just wished if the cardholders purchased a certain threshold amount such as when you hit $500.00 in purchases you had free shipping for the rest of the year. I always go there first when I am looking for an outfit or something for the house. This could be helped tremendously by having more thorough descriptions of the item and having more accurate photos regarding color and detail. For instance, sometimes the photo does not show the waist band of a skirt or pants. Is it an elastic waist? A button with a zipper? Is it high-waisted or low? Is the fabric thin or shiny or textured? Sometimes the description mentions some of this but often it does not.
Sizing is another issue. What one company calls '1x' has nothing to do with another company's 1x. And even following the size chart doesn't yeild dependable information. If a top is suppossed to fit 43" to 45" in the hips does that mean it's going to just barely go around my hips or be a loose flowing fit?
So unless I've come to trust a company, more and more I'm not willing to risk a purchase only to receive something that I have to go through the hassle of returning and lose half the $ I spent on it for postage.
Also, when you ask me to review an item and you want me to take my time to help you out, don't tell me how many words I must use in my comments. Instead make it as easy as possible for me.
I have been a customer of zulily for quite sometime now and have found their products are so reasonably priced. Their jewelry is fabulous looks expensive but it is within anyone's budget. I have bought many items and loved them so much they look better in person than online. I am well satisfied and customer service is fabulous they have treated me well.

I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it.
