As a first time customer, I clicked a link in an email from Zulily promising 10% off my order. After ordering $350 worth of stuff, my coupon didn't get processed. Literally seconds after placing the order, I contacted Customer Support asking them to refund 10% because of the coupon. They checked and said that my coupon was valid and that it was their site that didn't work properly to allow my coupon to be used; HOWEVER, they said that they don't give refunds nor will they cancel orders. I replied to every message from Zulily Customer Support and they told me over and over again that they refused to honor my valid coupon. They encouraged me to make another purchase on their site to use the coupon on another order.
I warned their Customer Support that I would tell everyone I could that Zulily was a terrible company to do business with and they didn't heed my warnings. So, I tweeted publicly about what they were doing--and not doing--for me. I got a personal phone call and email from the Director of Customer Support who had a much better response. He apologized for the mix-up and refunded 10% of my order back on my credit card.
When I started to receive the items that I ordered, the other problems with Zulily began. The metal furniture was rusty, chipped, and missing parts. I had to provide photo evidence for them to send replacement parts.
The socks I ordered came, shoved in a box with other items, in the open crumpled mailing bag that was used to send them to their first owner... by another company. The original company's branding was on the bag and the packing slip. The original owner's contact information was on the packaging, the packing slip, and on the return mailing label.
I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM ZULILY AGAIN and would advice everyone to avoid them.
The costumer service at Zulily is very rude now they tried to charged me the shipping cost twice I called and I explained and the guy he just didn't care, he just told me if I wanted to cancel the item that way the shipping was cancel too so I said ok and I had another question about a dress that I never receive and he was like you have to make a complaint to your post office and I was like really and he was like yes after it leaves the store is not our responsibility so he said to complain at my post office so I was blown away, then when I saw my refund it was only for the item and not the shipping so I called them again and the guy said that I had to paid for the shipping and I told him that I had already paid the shipping in the other order so he was like ohh ok maybe the other guy forgot to refund for that but he didn't apologize or nothing I am so upset with this company right now I won't buy anything else from here I would buy children's place and gymbore better.as costumes we don't deserve to be treating like trash we deserve be treating with respect they have to make the costumer happy And not unhappy!
Ps, I will check my bank n see if they refund it cause some of the reviews says that they never got the refund back, and that zulily charged twice for the items.
I have never been so disappointed... basically with myself. First of all, I DEFINITELY should have read the reviews before I ordered. Secondly, I should've talked with other people I know, about ordering clothes online, to get some wisdom about the process. I ordered over $200 worth of clothes and could only fit two things. **** If you are a large, plus sized woman, never order from a website that does not have a return policy.**** When I shop at Lane Bryant, Ross, or Catherine's, I normally wear 2x but some things I need a 3x in. So I thought ordering 3 X's from Zulily would be fine. WRONG! Every single thing ran small. As I stated earlier, I could only fit two things and they were tight. 100% RAYON WAS A JOKE! There was a slender model modeling a dress made of 100% rayon. The dress came below her knees and the sleeves came down to the middle of her arms. When I tried it on, I couldn't get it over arms and it only came to mid thigh. Two other blouses, that looked very shiny and flowy, and cost me $25 each, we're made of 100% cotton. But its my fault that I didn't look at what the material was before I purchased them. So, my advice is read & check the material before you order, order at least one to two sizes up, expect to wait at least almost one month to receive your items and lastly, WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT ALWAYS WHAT YOU GET!

I recently ordered some pretty cool linen tops dresses and jackets from Zulilly.com. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE: HERE'S WHY!...
1. I ordered 4 items from the same place at the same time, waited for a month for these items only to be told that only one shipped.
2. When they looked into the order, come to find out that the agent that I last spoke to canceled my order. I NEVER TOLD HIM TO CANCEL MY ORDER!
3. After speaking with two very incompetent customer reps. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOT UN-CANCEL IT. WOW! These were items that I really wanted.
4. TO TOP OFF THE GRAVY TRAIN OF JACKASSERY, I WAS TOLD THAT I COULD NOT RE-ORDER THESE ITEMS BECAUSE THEY NO LONGER DEALT WITH THE VENDORS THAT ORIGINALLY SUPPLIED THESE ITEMS.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. THEY HAVE A STAFF OF IDIOTS WORKING AT THIS COMPANY, FURTHERMORE, THE ITEMS THAT THEY SELL ARE NOT COMING DIRECTLY FROM THEM. THEY ARE IN THE MIDDLE. YOUR THINGS MAY COME FROM NORWAY TO ZULILLY, THEN TO YOU. THEY DEAL WITH VENDORS ALL OVER THE WORLD. STAY AWAY!

I have purchased many, many things from Zulily. This is one of my favorite - find something cool, fashionable, reasonably-priced site. Zulily doesn't make its own products - the brands that they sell do and many brands have excellent quality. I built a large amount of my unique workout/gym wardrobe through Zulily and got a lot of ideas with them. Beautiful tunics, too. And don't forget the sweet, pretty clothes for my little girls. Once in a great while, something looks great online, and I open the box, and it may be a little ill-fitting, or perhaps not what I had hoped for. The downside to Zulily - but remember, they disclose this in EVERY item posted - is that it is FINAL SALE. You cannot return. So you buy, it doesn't fit, tough luck. Be careful and look at the size chart (it is pretty accurate from my experience and I have thousands of dollars in their merchandise - I know because they tell me in my order history - can't believe it) - but I've been shopping there for over 2 years. I've found many beautiful, fun clothes that I cannot find at nearby brick-and-mortar stores.
It's not always great - of course, dealing with a company, you may never be able to feel 100% satisfied, but they did professionally respond to my complaint - I ordered a beautiful ivory maxi-dress, and it came to me some cream colored short number. I emailed customer service, attached pictures of what was mailed and pictures of what was advertised, and they did issue me a return authorization for this despite the no return policy because it was their fault. Also, if for whatever reason, the item you were lusting over was over-sold, they will let you know if they cannot ship it to you, and then credit you $10 for their mistake along with the entire refund to your purchase. I find this to be a very fair and ok way for the company to apologize.
So in general, I've had great experiences. For those who didn't - no problem, more stock for me to choose from! I don't like telling people much about Zulily because if I don't get the item on time - say I'm working and can't online shop, my size of a really cool item may go out of stock by the time I'm looking at it because of its popularity. I felt compelled to write this review however, because frankly, I'm shocked by the number of negative reviews.
But as with any other site, remember to always also look (especially with electronic items) at other websites to make sure it is not cheaper elsewhere.

I just placed my first order with Zulily. My sister is pregnant and I found some hilarious onesies that I had to buy. When I went through to purchase those items I saw the offer they have for masterpass. If you spend $50+ and sign up for masterpass they will not only give you free shipping, but will also take $15 off your purchase. After filling out all of the masterpass information my card was charged for the full amount with shipping included and I didn't get a $15 discount. I called the customer service number on their website thinking that it would be an easy 5 minute call and everything would be solved. The woman listened to my situation and asked if I had, for sure, filled out the masterpass information, I said yes. I was then put on hold while she tried to figure out what she could do for me. The solution she came up with was that she would zero out my shipping and then I could have a $15 credit applied to my account for my next purchase. A credit to my account? The money shouldn't have been charged on my card in the first place and the best they could offer was a credit? I told her that I wanted the money put back on my card and her explanation of why she couldn't, was that masterpass is a new thing they are doing and so there are still bugs. Apparently those bugs mean that they can't refund anything, even if you are charged incorrectly, so the only option is a store credit. I was so frustrated by the end of the call that I cancelled my order. That is essentially stealing and i'm not interested in supporting a business that treats customers so horrendously. I will not be placing any other orders with Zulily.

Answer: I have never ordered shoes from them but I agree that they likely vary according to brand. Contrary to other comments (that I am very suspicious of...) I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

Answer: It could be a week or it could be 3 months. But my advice would be not to order at all. The sizes are never right (a small may fit someone that wears a large or it may be too small for an infant) and the quality sucks (the fabric on a dress I bought is so thin you can see through 4 layers). Answer: Let me just put this out there. The people who bought things from Zulily (and are unhappy with their purchases), probably didn't research the brand before they bought it. Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it. I hope this helps.
