Just purchased a few pairs of progressive lens eye-wear from this company. Shipping took 14 days for my first pair and 8 days for my other 2 pairs. All were true to the prescription and had no defects. Average price for them was $53 per pair where, had I purchased them at my optometrist's it would have been $400 for each pair. Only problem is a little guilt that I feel for purchasing them off shore but I am sure that will disappear very soon when I see my next bank statement.
These glasses actually stay on, even my insanely active 6 year old son, and they're very durable. He has dropped them several times while learning to put them on, put them away, and clean them. Not a single scuff not scratch to show for it! The lenses don't pop out either which is a big deal for a school aged child not always under my supervision. My son also says they're very comfortable and he loves to wear them. We did go with several upgrade options and do not regret a single one. It really didn't even make them expensive. The much less kid friendly ones through insurance would have cost us more and I guarantee he'd have broken both frames and lenses by now.
Was not sure how I would like progressive lenses by ordering them on line, but they are just as good as going to a optical store and paying a whole lot more for them. Will be ordering again from Zenni Optical, great prices. Thank you.
This is my fourth order with Zenni, and I continue to be impressed with the value & quality of their eyewear. I have tried a little of everything, from the most basic prescription lenses to polarized sunglasses, and each piece has fit wonderfully and held up well over time. My latest purchase was my favorite frame fitted with transition lenses. Cost less than $50, and using free shipping they arrived only a few days after placing the order. I love Zenni, and I recommend them to everyone I know who wears glasses.
I have worn glasses for over 55 years. This is the first place that has fitted me perfectly! It was easy to go through the website and follow each step. I really liked the way you could put your picture in there and "try on" virtually each pair of glasses you thought would work for yourself! Tried Zenni cause my insurance only covers frames once every other year and my son and an astigmatism that changes with every growth spurt. They a perfect for the price point. My son is kinda rough so not really sure they will hold up but too soon to tell.
My glasses started to run closer to a thousand dollars at conventional eye exam offices. I tried Zenni for a backup pair a few years ago, and I was so impressed I am only ordering glasses from Zenni now. They consistently get the prescription spot on, and they arrive usually in around 10 days from China. That's pretty amazing when you think about it. I get 1.67 high index, photochromic with blue light blocker technology included with frames and shipping for around $110. Versus $750 a few years ago. A penny saved is a penny earned!
Zenni is part of my savings plan. Wonderful assortment of frames with measurements and information to get a frame that is right for my face. They never messed up my prescription, which Walmart managed to do (unusual vision problem.) If/when I lose my eyeglasses, the good prices make it painless to replace them. I have been using for many years.
Got a pair of prescription glasses, and as far as correcting my vision, they're great. Only problem is that I spent about $150 extra on Transitions extaActives, and they barely work. I watched reviews on this specific version of Transitions, and these glasses get nowhere near as dark as I saw in my pre-purchase research. Direct sunlight tints them ever so slightly, but not nearly enough to make a difference. Certainly not enough to justify paying 6 times the price.

I ordered a pair of glasses, the temples have two loose caps or legs that can be slipped off easily. A good design would make sure that these caps are secured or glued. Mine got off every time I wore the glasses, eventually one of the caps got lost. I wanted to order a replacement. But they insisted I had to order a new pair of glasses. That is the service you will get from an oversea shop.

I've been using Zenni for many years and have never been disappointed. They have a wide selection of frames and lenses, prices that don't hurt my wallet, and delivery is always quick. Since I've never had an issue with them, I cannot speak for their customer service, but I would be very surprised if they were any less than exceptional.
I just received my brand new Zenni sunglasses. I got cute frames, no line bifocals with antiglare for under $85. I've never had prescription sunglasses. These are awesome. This is my first purchase and I will definitely be ordering more.

I just received my third pair of prescription glasses from Zenni. The fit is perfect, the transition lenses are perfect and the style is just what I was looking for. I have the progressive no-line bifocal, transition lenses. I have paid up to $700 for new gasses at optical store, and in one case had to go back 4 times for adjustments. ALL of my Zenni glasses fit perfect every time, never needing to be adjusted. And the price for each pair I have purchased was in the $100 range. Shipping is never over 2 weeks, usually around 10 days. There are many styles to choose from, and I like the online "try on" so you can see how they look on your picture. It's a very simple process to get the glasses you need. I highly recommend Zenni.

My previous purchased glasses turned out to be too small for myself. So I returned and ordered another pair. Firstly, this pair measurements are very close but there's significant difference in size. Secondly, they did not apply refund to my last purchase which is a bummer because I could not wait for refund to be processed, need the glasses asap. Very difficult to get refund - multiple calls and chats later...did...
THEN I discover that I almost lost money... initial invoice: $56.85...
I paid return shipping: $22 and finally was refunded $46.90
In other words... I paid $32 towards trying on a pair of glasses that didn't work as promised... and I had to fight for what I did get...

The glasses took about 2 weeks to come in but they look and feel great on my face. I'm 35 and haven't worn glasses since grade school so I was skeptical about going too expensive. These are a great starter pair and I will be buying more once adjusted. Only downfall, is the cloth that comes with the glasses doesn't clean them that well. Other than that, great purchase!
In my 34 years of wearing glasses zennis glasses have been the worst purchase in my life. I spent 400 bucks on two pairs of glasses one pair being strictly sunglasses. Both pairs have been terrible. The sunglasses tint is uneven in certain spots. I got them earlier this year 2023 and my daily use glasses are already scratched to hell to the point that there's a permanent blurry spot. I'd love a full refund but I'm past their return policy. Not to mention my daily glasses that are black are actually a clear frame painted black. I highly not recommend wasting your money with this company especially when you depend on a product that helps your daily living as I do. I order these in April
Honestly, the cheapest place to get glasses from. Typically glasses cost me $200 + due to my astigmatism but with Zenni, they only cost me $50. I have been buying from them for 5 years now and each glasses has been great and affordable. I always recommend Zenni to my friends who need glasses since it feel so much less of a rip off compared to "designer" frames and glasses from those in person store.
Only thing i wished is that their return policy was more convenient. Otherwise overall great online glasses store.
I have ordered twice from Zenni and am happy with the glasses, the delivery time (less than promised time), and the PRICE! They are upfront about being based in Hong Kong. Even with the add-ons (anti-reflective coating) the total cost is so much lower than anywhere local (eg. 3 pairs for under $50 both times I have ordered). Be aware that if you have a complex prescription, it may be harder to get the prescription and adjustments just right.

Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle. The clear viewing area is located in the central "corridor" of the lenses, so there can be a noticeable but expected blur when looking toward the edges of the lenses. Due to this design, and because there are slight differences between progressive lenses across brands, someone new to wearing progressive lenses may initially experience some difficulty adjusting to them; likewise, someone who is already accustomed to wearing one brand of progressive lenses may have some difficulty adjusting if they switch to a different brand, and they will find that it it will take some time to become accustomed to the new lenses.
