I can't rave about this company enough. I have a VERY high prescription and it just wasn't affordable to purchase from my eye Dr anymore, even w/ great insurance. Who knew you don't have to buy them from your Dr?!?! Zenni is amazing! I have purchased several pairs from them over the course of the past year, and will be using them to purchase my children's glasses as well. Know your measurements and what you like and the rest is easy. Lots of frames to choose from and lots of options if you want add-ons as well. I love that I can add clip-on sunglasses to any frame for only about $4 and I've done that almost every time.
The ordering experience was fine. Once I figured out how to measure my pupil distance, it was easy to add my prescription. I was very thankful that the system remembered it, too, for as many times as I started over for different frames and lens options. The only thing that I am not completely happy on is how light the frames turned out to be. They're very light and likely to bend easy. They don't remind me of something very durable.
By far my best experience getting glasses.
No hassles, plenty of options and all at a cost that is more than fair. I will be using them for all my glasses moving forward and I urge anyone else to give them a try.
You can't get any better than this I'm a teacher and I always recommend it to my parents because kids constantly tear up glasses. But also as a teacher I'm broke so I need these prices too. Fantastic I loves any so much!
Everything was good. Customer service helped when I needed to change my shipping address. Glasses arrived on good condition, and are probably worth what I paid. Good for being active outside when I'm worried about wearing and damaging my super expensive prescription glasses.
Theses glasses are great! I love them so much I have been thinking about getting a second pair for just sunglasses. I normally have a problem with glasses sliding down my face but these don't and they seem to fit my face well.
Great glasses. Affordable and stylish, but you have to do your homework before purchasing! Make sure you use their tools and measurements to be sure the glasses are the right size and fit for your face. My prescription isn't all that bad and I normally wear contacts everyday but it's nice to have a good pair of glasses to rest my eyes that won't break my bank.
I have so many glasses from Zenni I've lost track at this point. Its very easy to buy tons of frames due to the low price. I mean unbelievably low price. I've been getting my glasses at Zenni for about 10 years. Only returned one pair
At first I was a bit hesitant to buy glasses from Zenni and waited for over a year to try it out, but after hearing great things about it and gave it a try. Overall, It was easy to add my prescription, order them, and came in on time. The glasses turned out great and highly recommend, especially for college students (they offer student discounts!)
Actually I would have loved the glasses but when putting in my prescription I missed one so the prescription ended up being wrong but I do want to comment on the Return process which is pretty simple so Kudos for that …. And the representative who helped me was very helpful….
Was my first time trying Zenni and I will always buy from Zenni from now on! Excellent quality and exactly what I was looking for. My husband wanted to see how my glasses would be coming in and he was so impressed we got a pair for him as well. Recommended to everyone I know who wears glasses. Zenni has the best intention but just to difficult to provide service from long distance. Wife filled a prescription a year ago with Zenni. Just recently went to her doctor. They checked her Zenni glasses for the prescription and found it was not the one provided by the doctor a year ago. Wife called and was advised to send glasses in for checking by Zenni. Really can't do that as she can't go without any glasses. So we are done with Zenni. Just be aware of doing business from long distance.
I have never ordered online before so this was a steep learning curve for me. I spoke with customer service multiple times to make sure I was doing it right and they were always helpful and informative. My normal optician wanted $500 for a basic frame with my RX - I picked a frame I liked (not the cheapest but mid range) with my RX the total cost was about $140 with all the bells and whistles that the optician wanted extra for - they got here today and for the first time in years I have a pair of comfy glasses that I can actually see through! Yes, I have been told previously that because my eyes have different pupil points, it would be impossible to get them perfect but Zenni did - I am never going anywhere else - Thank you!
Very good customer service because my first pair of sunglasses was made incorrectly and they were very prompt and respectful on the return process. I was given a full store credit so I decided to order a different frame with smaller lenses for the next go round. The redo of the prescription was much faster on the new frames and got them in less than a week. The new progressive sunglasses frame and prescription came back excellent 2nd time around with perfect clarity from top to bottom.
I ordered my first pair of glasses from Zenni and I am surprised at the quality of the product and the ease of the process. I accidently entered the wrong prescription the first time around, but I contacted Zenni and they gave me a full credit. As soon as my return was scanned in at the post office the credit hit my account and I was able to reorder fairly quickly. I do not have vision insurance so they were incredibly affordable which I love! They will be my "go-to" for glasses going forward
This process was very good. The only issue I had was getting the prescription written in correctly. I wish the prescription was a standard format from the optometrists so that Zenni could use that, but they had enough prompts for possible variations that I was able to make it work.
I will say, I would have stopped at that point if I had not already purchased a good pair at the office, as I had my doubts right up to the moment the glasses arrived. Having been through the process once, I cannot imagine going back to the very high prices at the office. My bifocals came to me perfect in look, fit and focus point.
I ordered 3 pairs, one for reading, one for distance and a pair with Transitions lenses.
I live in Canada, so my first impression was clouded by the lack of a decent shipping option. It took longer than I would like to receive my glasses.
When they arrived I could immediately see that the pair with Transitions lenses was a bit wacky. I couldn't put my finger on what was wrong, but I just knew there was a problem.
So I went to my optician who graciously tested the lenses for free. He found the left lens was either defective or the astigmatism was improperly corrected.
My optometrist said this type of issue can happen and wasn't really uncommon in the industry. He didn't think it was a commentary on Zenni per say.
When I called Zenni to report the issue, they insisted on me shipping the glasses back by regular mail (approx. 10 days), then they would perform their own tests (approx. 14 days) and then replacement glasses would be remade and shipped by snail mail (14 more days). The whole process threatened to take more than a month, by my estimation.
I wrote a complaint in their customer survey and thankfully someone in the customer service department took pity on me and decided to trust my optometrist. They agreed to remake the new glasses immediately.
My new glasses arrived in approx. 10 days and they are great.
This is my way of saying that I think Zenni is a good company, they make an excellent product, but they are not exactly geared for the Canadian market.
If you're in Canada, expect slow delivery and be aware that you might need to be a bit insistent if you have a need for a replacement.
I've been a Zenni customer for well over a decade, ordering at least once a year. I have ordered frames of various materials and coatings. I have a very strong, thick prescription, so my choice of frames is somewhat limited. However, I have always been able to find exactly what I needed. My favorite style is rimless. This can be tricky with a thick lens. However, I have never had a problem with the rimless pairs I ordered from Zenni. I am a customer for life!
Glasses are low-quality, inexpensive options compared to going to an optometrist's office. However, it's 30-day return policy is a fib. You have 1 of 2 options. Either 100% store credit is to be applied to a new order of glasses (if you have already placed a new order you are SOL). The second option is a 50% refund of the amount. I have ordered three times from them and will not be returning.
Zenni markets itself as a customer service-oriented inexpensive option. Clearly, they do not prioritize the needs of a customer otherwise they would offer better modeling and dimension services to provide more accurate sizing and frame fit. Do better!
I've bought 4 pair of glasses for less than I've paid for one pair. Good quality, quick delivery & excellent customer service.not only did I pay less but I'm more pleased without ever having to sit & deal with snotty sales people who try to upsell me & mess up my glasses!

Progressive lenses contain three viewing areas: distance-, intermediate-, and near-vision - the distance vision area is near the top of the lens, the near vision area is at the bottom, and the intermediate vision area is in the middle.
