I paid for a hotel room in full with Zen Hotels. When I arrived there was no room because Zen Hotels credit card was declined. Has been weeks and I've gotten no refund.
Zenhotels.com is the perfect vacation planning and online booking site. Im so happy that I was able to quickly reserve a room at a wonderfully quaint bed and breakfast in my desired location at a reasonable price. Surprisingly, I was also able to make my reservation without using a credit card. From now on, Ill be using zenhotels.com for all of my hotel booking needs.
For my wife I booked and paid for a room at the Radisson Red Miami Airport Hotel through Zenhotels. My wife arrived to check in and was denied a room citing there was a water problem. She was able to get the last room at a hotel next door but had to pay out of pocket. I contacted Zenhotels and they said they would call the hotel. No resolution and they stopped answering texts. I used my credit company to protest the charge. Zenhotels told them my wife checked in and out and that is a lie. Luckily she was one of 15 people denied a room and she can get some of them to substantiate her claim. I will never use this booking site again. Beware!

Working for a large company the website was block and at least no employee of my company falls into the traps. In addition a complaint to the Italian police plus one to the Dutch police, it will be fairy in such a way that this webside shell be closed.

After writing this complaint, customer service kindly reached out to me and provided as much help as they could. The issue was probably at the side of my bank and they were able to process it after I send an objection form.
I have made a reservation from ZenHotels on 18th of October. The facility allowed free of charge cancelation and after calling them, I realized I do not want to spend my holiday there. So I cancelled the booking on the same day on reservation through zen hotels customer service. After a week I contacted them asking when I could get a refund and they said it could take up to 30 business days and suggested me to get in touch with my bank. I have been in contact with my bank ever since, and each time I ask they say they cannot see a refund put into process. Now ZenHotels don't even answer my emails... I couldn't get my money and it's almost been 2 months. I don't know what to do except consulting legal authorities. This is first time happening to me and I was so not expecting this amateur thing from "reputable" ZenHotels. Lesson learned. Regretted.
Holding funds on account w/out a hotel booking or confirmation. The booking never processed because the room was not available but the transaction is still showing as pending on my credit card and reducing my available balance.

Fantastic, I sincerely have a top notch booking services with zenhotels. This is the pleasant lodge of reserving services, they have a cheap and less costly rate and it's far very easy to book a inn from their internet site with none complains. And everything on the inn became excellent and appropriate. And their customer support are very pleasant and truthful, the whole thing went easily. Strongly endorsed.
Very good service. They are also very quick in solving their mistakes and those of their colleagues. It is a pleasure to see the company that cares about its customers. After I made a booking I found out that I had put some wrong information about my reservation. So I contacted zenhotels support and they've changed my reservation in a blink of an eye.

I used Zenhotels.com for a second time and they did not disappoint. The friendly staff answered all my questions regarding the hotel we had in mind and actually made a suggestion that was better suited to our needs than what we initially wanted. The site is super easy to use for me (someone who is tech illiterate) There are still minor details to improve on (such as possibly having more options of hotels) however I will definitely use this site again for my future getaways.
We just returned from Italy, we visited Sienna, Florence, Rimini, Perugia. Booked all the hotels through Zenhotels, it was awesome and pleased. What we loved most is the best price/quality ratio at all four hotels used. We recommend paying through the website rather than straight at the hotels if you want to arrange your travel properly. All in all, just a huge thanks to zehotels.
We found a geat deal with zenhotels that no other site offered. And we booked a studio with double beds. We paid in full at the time of booking online. When we arrived, we just had to put an $80 hold, but it was returned. The studio was super. It was very clean, had a kitchennet (flatware, silverware, medium size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher with dish soap and sponge, etc.), a small living room, one master bath, big closet, luggage space with a long tall mirror. Breakfast was super! Vegetarian and vegan friendly. We were very satisfied. It met our needs for our stayed.

I booked a hotel room in Anaheim at the Hyatt Place for 140 dollars, a good price. As I saw the email in my mail, I closed the browser window. When I saw the CC report, days later, they charged the DOUBLE! 275 dollars. Unbelievable. And then I went to open the email, and they simply don't put the value on the email, so that can steal from you. It is a SCAM. Don't use this company!

Ten days ago, my wife booked a hotel in Tokyo through their website. When we emailed the hotel to confirm our booking, they said that they could not find any reservation under our name. We called Zenhotels for an explanation last week and they keep saying they need more time to find out what happened. They have already taken our money and our trip is coming up in less than three weeks. It's supposed to be our babymoon but this is more stressful than relaxing, and the stress level is going higher by the day...

We booked our hotel through Zen Hotels and we encountered a snow storm on our trip. This storm dumped over four foot of snow at our end destination. We had to cancel that portion of our trip past the deadline of cancellation. They would not refund and ran us around for over a month. We posted many reviews. Finally after much work they finally gave us our refund and asked us to amend our posts or delete them.

Booked a hotel a few weeks before our trip via Zenhotel. We showed up at our hotel only to find out that the reservation number Zenhotel gave us was not in the hotel's system; furthermore, none of our information was in the hotel's system. The hotel's (very kind) customer service representatives called Zenhotel and spoke to the most timid representative who refused to give any answers and kept putting us on hold. Additionally, Zenhotel's representative kept refusing to speak with with me and sounded like he was trained to avoid talking to the customer. Lastly, he said he would email me with refund details, and nearly a week later, I've received no emails from them.
Zenhotel is an absolute scam, and thanks to them, we got into a hotel at 3:00 AM when we arrived at 10 PM. It would've been easier to get a hotel if we stumbled into a city with absolutely no booking or plan. Ignore their cheap price point and avoid using them, even as a last resort.
