I bought an expensive necklace for my daughter on-line, as our local store closed. The necklace was packaged poorly and the necklace chain had knots in it. The necklace was put haphazardly in a velvet bag and then in a cheap cardboard box. My chat with customer service was terrible with "sorry, but you can return it". I then called the customer service number. Rachel asked me to wait so she could see what could be done. I was on the on the line (not on hold) for 45 minutes waiting! Then I was hung up on. No return call or email. They obtained all my information at the beginning of the call. I filed a BBB complaint and will continue to notify other consumers of their poor quality and service.
This is the worse company by far to deal with they will give you the run around for hours then tell you that you have to talk to someone else. I will delete my credit card I no longer want my purchase. If you want better service try Jared or Kay Jewelers.
DO NOT buy from Zales.com. First, I selected the ship-to-store option Zales offers in its checkout process. Instead, the jewelry was delivered to my home address! Fortunately, it did not get stolen by porch pirates.
Second, I bought at a 20% discount as part of an online sale and had to guesstimate my ring size. I mistakenly assumed it would be an easy exchange if not the right size. It was too big, and it turns out I can't exchange in any retail store because they all only carry (1) size of the ring I bought, and it's even larger than the one I originally ordered.
Speaking with a representative proved equally frustrating. They will not allow me to exchange the ring at the sale price for the smaller size they DO HAVE in inventory. They will only allow me to do a full return, then re-purchase the correct size at the current, non-discounted price. At this point, the options are a full return, or basically paying the 20% I saved to get the ring resized.
It's clear to me by these actions and other online reviews and ratings that Zales is not a company that cares about its customers, nor does it prioritize customer service, nor do they seem to care about word-of-mouth advertising or fostering repeat purchases.
I will NEVER buy from Zales again.
After placing an order with my finance as a gift for someone else, his card was double charged. When I emailed to have this mistake fixed I was told that although I had all the shipping information and the order was made under my phone number, email, and address, since it was under my fiance's name I would need to have him call. This was not a problem until they sent us a shipping confirmation once again. When I messaged once more just to be sure we would not be charged again, saying I did not need information on the order just wanted to confirm that we would not be shipped anything else, I was met with sass. We will definitely not be ordering anything from this company again.

I ordered a necklace on-line on 03 Feb with the assurance that it would be delivered by 14 Feb (Valentine's day). As of 10 Feb I had not received any shipping information, therefore, I called the Zales customer support number and was assured that I would receive the necklace on Valentine's day. I further reached out to the Zales chat line and was again assured that the item would be received as promised. I received a note shortly after my conversations (10 Feb), indicating the item has been shipped along with tracking information. Upon checking the tracking information, I was advised that the necklace would be delivered on 15 Feb! Thank you Zales for ruining Valentine's day! You would hope that placing an on-line order 11 days before the needed date would suffice to get the item on time. Zales is acting like it is no big deal and I cannot understand how they can compete with other on-line retailers with this kind of service and attitude.
If you work for Zales at olympia mall be careful you, have to lie and cover up for people. They leave peoples repairs and rings out of the cases during night and dont have repairs done but they will tell the clients they done. They also leave the safe open with all the clients, and stores back stock jewelry in it during the day (this leaves it vulnerable to a robbery). My boss has also asked me to cover up for him when he tackled a thief in the parking lot when the guy took the watches during my shift, my boss has also asked me to cover up other things. If corporate wants to talk to me about anything reguarding this please feel free to contact me. By the way these picture are only a few example of what I have found on the counter after opening up at 9:45 in the morning.

I ordered a engagement ring for my fiance the order was confirmed two days later zales cancelled it without cause reason or notification.my attempts to contact them was unsuccessful and oh lord priceless online customer service representative and explained to many I spoke to if it was incorrect billing information the order would not gone through and confirmed all just dodge any questions or concerns I inquired about or had blamed me and showed what zales truly represents I will not do any more business with zales anymore or again. I explained and explained I if it was incorrect billing information it would have not passed to be confirmed fell on deaf ears it didn't work to fit there agenda.

They have the worst costumer service! I contacted them almost 3 months ago for a price adjustment. My ring was fully paid for and they tell me the refund system has been down for 3 months but I can pay money. Ridiculous! The quality it not the same anymore. Consider shopping else where
2 times my birthstone ring is in for repairs stone replacements and 2 times ordered bracelet online and clasps are not reliable. These were gifts I'll get the ring back in a few weeks but the bracelet is gone lifetime warranties don't cover loss or theft. I'm depressed about it mainly because it's not the 1st time it's happened... NEVER AGAIN
I brought $400 earrings as a gift to my fiance. They came broken. I've called and tried to get this fixed. But instead of zales correcting and going out their way to fix the problem, they made, they keep telling me to go out my way. I'm already out a extra $500 for engagement pictures. When I said I would sue. They told me to go ahead and sue. Lost of time money and still out of earrings. Will be returning and never buying again. Cheap high priced jewelry.
They got really good deals sometimes... And these deals were exactly the cause I chose the shop to get some presents for myself and my loved ones for their birthdays or some other occasions that I thought were worth it
Don't recommend ordering for this place. I placed a order online and they took money out of account but said order didn't process when called so told me to order again over the phone did that but received email they canceled order. So took over 1200 out of my account and still have no ring. Customer service sucks. If I could rate a 0 I would.
I would like to recognize Bria for her amazing customer service she provided me today! Bria is from the Sandford Fl location and she was extremely helpful and was able to resolve my issue. I have been trying to find the guarantee of a necklace I bought that I needed to fix and she went above and beyond to help me. Now days you cant really find excellent customer service and she has shown that this still exist. Thank you Bria.
Bought expensive bracelet and needed links taken out but guy at New Jersey' said it would take 2 weeks and cost at least $40.00 rediculous never buy from zales again no wonder they are going out of business
To start I was not even greeted at entry just stared at by a sales representative by the name of Edna. This associate does not know how to operate the computer/ register had to ask everything to whom it seemed the person in charge at the moment that was selling a ring to a couple and left them unattended with the two rings on hand after I waisted 25 min of my time still couldn't help me nor figure out what to do definitely ordering on line or going to another store hopefully there is better trained associates that can meet the criteria needed in a jewelry store.
Answer: Zales suck. Having to have your ring checked every 6 months is a complete joke. Employees don't know what their doing. They are sales people, not jewlers.
