Woman hung up on me over the phone! This has NEVER, EVER happened to me with any other retail companies that I can remember of! There are plenty of other French companies that have a great customer service, and fantastic products, starting with L'Oréal! Hopefully, L'Occitane customer service is better than that. Actually, I do not think it can be any worse... lol

I was calling about a package that I returned more than 5 weeks ago. I called to request a cancellation on my order just a day after I placed the order. You said that I couldn't do it, and told me to not open the package but bring it to the post office to return to the seller. On the day the package was delivered, I brought it to the post office and returned it on the same day. I called to follow up couple weeks later, and was told to call back at least 4 weeks after I returned the package to get my refund. I waited for 5 week, and called back today. The representative was extremely rude as she was yelling at me on the phone, kept giving me confusing information, even told me that I had no proof to prove that I returned it. She put me on hold without telling me, and even hung up the phone when I was talking. I have never experienced any customer server as rude and horrible as this before.
I placed my first order 3 weeks ago and didnt get it back. Called costumer service and some guy named ADAM answer the phone. First of all he sounded like the most bored person on earth - and he told me I need to go around my house and check any secure facilities where they could have left it. I told him outside my house is a street, its not in my mail box so probably was sent back.(Unless its common for YR to leave orders in random neighbour's house or in the middle of the side walk) He said I need to hang up and go double check. I said i checked before I called them (obviously) and he tells me that its the procedure and I need to call them back and repeat the process. I told him: are you aware that because of you I wont order again from YR. He sighs and says I know but thats the procedure. Again sounding like he coudnt care less if he had done a bad job.
I used a body lotion callled "The Dore Golden Tea". It smells good, the texture is light, and it is very nourishing. I usually use it after taking shower in the evening and the effect is great till the next evening.
I have been using this products for more than 20 years. I'm very disappointed with the nail polish and a few other products. Last month I order 3 nail polish and they were like kind of old. The brush was really bad and the polish consistency was so bad that I couldn't use it. In the past they refunded my money, now I need to send the products and pay for the shipping, which is not worth it. I just waisted my money... also in the past I had a bad costumer service experience, so I stopped order my creams for a few years, however now I'm back because I really like their rich cream line. Any ways I feel that if you are the kind of costumer that most of the time keeps the products they should make an exception when you are not happy with your order.
This last order I received was my last. Yves Rocher used to have quality products at decent prices 20 years ago. Now their items are overpriced and there is no quality to their products.
Most of the cleansing products hurt my skin so I really question them claiming their products are natural and organic. Cosmetics are not long-lasting; they crease or rub off or don't blend properly. Foundations are too dark and warm even when they're supposed to be for those will cool, fair complexions. Shower gels have no fragrance and perfumes don't last more than ten minutes.
What adds insult to injury is the total disregard they have when they ship your items. They allow items to slam around loose inside the box because they obviously don't know what bubble wrap is. Wait, I think it's probably because they just don't care. As you can see from a couple of my photos, the heavier items were not secured and damaged the smaller items. This has happened every time I've ordered from them. But no more.
Yves Rocher responded to my message about this last order with an auto robot response saying basically "Gee sorry you're not happy with your purchase and have a nice day". No apology was offered. There was no owning up to their lousy shipping procedures, and there was no offer to make things right.
Honestly, who in their right mind would deal with disrespectful people such as these? Certainly not moi. My money spends anywhere and from now on it will be spent elsewhere.
This company is headed toward extinction if they keep up with their poor Customer Service plus the decline of their product. I'm not shopping there again. If I could have rated them -, I would have.
I ordered a set of three Magical Shea Kit and it came in a damaged box, two of three tubes HALF FULL and smell rancid!
This order concludes my 16 plus years of the membership with this company! They used to be awesome but are getting worse and worse and now their service and shipping are just unacceptable!
Customer service is totally zero (no care att all for customers), products 3, on the end of all I close my account.
In the 90's it was easier to order via catalog than it is online in 2020! It's truly unbelievable how bad their customer service is, and you can bet the CS people are in India. Not a single person I spoke to was in the USA or Europe. They could do very little to help, and their attitude is the worst! My order finally arrived after two weeks, but it was packaged so sloppy. Everything just flying around in the box. This will be my last YR order. Products have also gone down in quality. They cheapened out to make a buck. Oh, and they charge your card immediately and don't ship for weeks. That irked me too. All the reps had a hard time finding my order in their system, and they have this archaic "customer number" situation. They all claimed that my order had not been processed, but the transaction sure had been! It's a shame what has happened to Yves Rocher. Don't expect help via their Facebook page. They will never PM you back. I forgot something else... their phone wait time is over 30 minutes, and after 10 there will be loud static on the line that will make you want to hang up. I'm sure that's their way of getting people off the line.
The company and customer service is HORRIBLE! I attempted to place an order online, but the DID NOT PROCESS; however, my account was still charged. When I contacted them I spoke with 2 different individuals whose information of resolve this issue was helpful or on the same accord. I was told it would need to go to the finance department by one and to contact customer service via email by the other. What is the point of calling the contact number. This company is horrible and I will NEVER ORDER from them again! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
I'm puzzled by the reviews below and felt that I needed to stand up for the brand and share my true experience in Mississauga, Canada. I'm usually not a fan of facial foundation simply because I don't like to look painted and artificial. But I recently discovered Yves Rocher and got their sponge based foundation (their new addition) and I can't stop peeking at myself in the mirror every now and then. I've tried other brands like Mac, Estelle Lauder which are very good brands but nothing beats Yves Rocher in the way the foundation settles on the face and it's lasting effects. Even after 9 hours of applying the foundation, my face still looks radiant and fresh in the evening. After 2 weeks of wearing it, I got one for my daughter and an extra for myself since they have a 50% sale going on. Another product is their acne cleanser-toner-moisturiser combo. My daughter has a lot of acne and scars and in 2 weeks, this product had rid her forehead by 70-80% of the acne and scars. All I can say that I just love their products and their customer service is excellent.
Ordered products on Dec 16. Today, January 6th- Never got the order. I couldn't track it because I had 8 digit invoice but website asks for 9 digit. Called multiple times the company and waited on the line listening to music for 10-15 min at a time. No one answered. Finally I got through today. The agent said my ordered was placed on hold because it didn't reach minimum of $50 (it was $48.56 after $10 discount). I was fuming as I didn't receive ANY information about anything. Then he said he can release if I buy something to make $50. What kind of crap is that? French... I added extra deodorant. And he obviously had problem doing that, I heard him pressing on keyboard... and then I hear "hello? Hello... Hello?" I said "I am here. I can hear you"... Hello? Hello and click... disconnected! Great acting job on top of it. This business is messed up and doesn't live up to any expectation. I am staying away to save myself aggravation. Everything is now on sale! And his answer should be... let me take care of it right away and make sure you get it priority. They are cheap and sneaky! What a rip off!
I made my first order and after 2 weeks product didn't arrived, I called customer service they told me since the order was made online they cannot do any changes, I also ask them when I will get it and they told me they don't know since FedEx has the package, so I will rate my experience with 0 star since they are helpless and I will not order from this mediocre company again.
Yves Rocher is one of the best skin care product. Before I have so many pimples in my face but after using this product I feel refreshed and I get my skin clear. Thanks to Yves Rocher
The website looks pretty good but it seems like the software doesn't effectively account for the quantity of available products. It may seem like a small thing but can be annoying especially during the season of gift giving. I ordered Cacao and Orange gift set among other things to send to my daughter as a Christmas gift. After about a week, I received a shipment notice that didn't include the item. I called the customer service. While I was on hold I heard this item being advertised multiple times. When I got a chance to speak to a customer service representative, I got the answer, "It was a limited edition, we ran out of it and excluded it from your order". I asked why Yves Rocher's website had allowed me to place the order on the first place. The answer was, "It was computer who did it, not a human being or anybody in the company". This ranks right up there with the all-time classic, "My dog ate my homework."
I asked why they (or computer or website?) changed my order without consulting me and of course didn't get a clear response. I am not sure if it is a website issue or a human issue but the Christmas gift is ruined. At he same time they widely advertise "stress free holiday shopping from convenience of your home".
When you spend almost $200 dollars on an order, you don't expect to still be waiting for it 6 weeks later. It would have been faster just to order it from France! Horrible!
My orders never got delivered. I tried reaching the company many times via email and telephone there was no response. Its a total scam! Beware!

I've been a customer for YEARS. NOT ANYMORE. Months ago I received an order with 1 item missing. After 2 MONTHS of contacting them, I finally got a response. They refunded me the item cost and sent the item. OK great, I thought. I assumed the refund was because they screwed up & took so long to respond. WRONG. They then contacted me & wanted me to pay for the item. I decided that it was a cheap piece of sh*t, so I returned it to them. They continued sending me a bill & threatening to affect my credit. I contacted them & said, "I RETURNED THE ITEM MONTHS AGO!". STILL got a bill. I just paid it to protect my credit, but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO angry! I HATE this company & will NEVER order from them again.
Answer: Unfortunately, we are now into 2019 and Yves Rocher's product quality has seriously declined. I question their use of the words "natural" and "botanical". Perfumes don't last for more than 10 minutes. Their shipping and packing is now shameful; I have received more missing or damaged products than I care to mention. They have no customer service now for online purchases. They either totally ignore you or they never offer to make things right. They should not be allowed to sell here in the U.S. in my opinion.
