My mechanic came & told me the part I needed for my car ( I already knew this). He said he was unable to install it but that I could look it up on ebay & buy the part myself & look up on YouTube on how to install it or call a mechanic... um, Hello?! And $80 later I am still stuck with the same issue. I tried to contact customer service which was a joke. My wait time was 1 hr & 45 mins. They were no help. Thanks for nothing yourmechanic!

Scheduled a pre purchase inspection for a used car. The mechanic cancelled due to an earlier appointment running long. This was 2 an a half hours before my appointment was scheduled so I'm not sure how that works.
There were no more appointments available until Wednesday morning. I called and they said there's nothing they could do about it. He said there was no way to give me a discount, but I rescheduled anyway.
10 minutes before my second appointment the mechanic sent a message that he just found out about a death in his family and cancelled. No appointments available until the next day. This time i called and she at least tried to find someone to fit me in. Also offered a 10% discount without me asking. No way was I going to wait for them to cancel again. So I cancelled. All I got was alot of frustration and a huge waste of time.

Save yourself from disappointment, do not consider their service. This is a fraud business. Never ever use this business. Very unreliable and untrustworthy. You will just waste your money on them. Very unprofessional mechanic and customer service. I called them and they told me that the problem was this and that... and when the mechanic went to my house, he told me that it was not the problem and that whoever gave me the quote gave the wrong estimate of what the problem was. I called them again and they do not care at all and never giving you an option to fix the problem they caused. They also blame me for believing their employee who I talked to on the phone. No, this business is a fraud and should be closed down.

What a joke! The first mechanic cancelled last minute. The next mechanic installed a part that wasn't part of the agreed upon service nor did he ask for my consent prior to installation. Management doesn't care about customer service. He made it sound like it was my fault. They wanted to send the mechanic out to take the part off. Really? I unwilling paid the "not agreed" upon price. I will not use this service again. They have some serious issues that need to be addressed. I wished I had seen these reviews prior to my own experience. I am beyond disappointed!

This business is a scam, here's another review to show that they're hanging on by a thread:

Incapable of getting work done in a reasonable amount of time. Scheduled my first appointment on June 15th for an oil pan replacement on my 2002 Honda Civic, and they send over a mechanic with the wrong part, great. Then I book the next available appointment for June 22nd, and the mechanic cancels on me the same morning he's supposed to show up. Awesome, so I book my next appointment for the next available slot which is July 1st and my mechanic calls me in the morning saying they don't have the part. GREAT.

I ended up getting the work done somewhere else. Which I should've just done in the first place, considering a past experience where one of this company's mechanics scammed my mother by coercing her to write him a check so he could "order cheaper parts" and just so happened to stop working for YourMechanic before coming back to complete the job.

Beware. Spend the bit of extra money at a well-run shop if you need to.

I have one day off per week. Woke up early to be ready for the mechanic (David Hunter) but he never showed up for my 8:30am appointment. Lied and said the parts didn't make it after the parts had already been confirmed. Then says the parts will arrive at 11:30am that same day and he will be right over once he gets them, but he never showed up or responded to any calls or text. Very unprofessional and I'm extremely disappointed. My card has been charged by Your Mechanic for services that I haven't received or not a confirmation of when I'll be scheduled with a new mechanic. I've been back and fourth on the phone with customer service reps for two hours, because apparently no supervisors or members of management are available to speak with customers that are dealing with chaos created by their mechanic. Awful service!

I will never use them again. The mechanic Patrick installed my starter for me knowingly that wasn't the problem with my car. He inspected my car for 20 mins before installing the starter. He told me that I could go I didn't need to watch him with my car. He tells me after that my starter was never the problem but he still installed the new starter. He told me that my ignition wires needed to be changed. My car has yet to be able to start this was on 6/22/2019. I got a call back today from the supervisor and she did noooo help whatsoever. Because I didn't schedule for an inspection but yet he still inspected she said there's nothing she could do not even a certain percentage of reimbursement she than hung the phone up on me when I asked to speak to someone else. I will NEVER be using this service ever again. I will NEVER RECOMMEND this place to anyone!

Do not recommend this service. Was quoted in their system $332.46 (labor only) to change the steering gearbox (rack and pinion). Got a call the day before the appointment and was told the system was wrong, the new quote was changed to $731.42. I called and was told that it was changed and incorrect because they thought my vehicle was AWD, they updated it and came with a new labor quote of $440 (local show was $375). They do not honor the quotes built in their own quoting system, nor do they give enough time when making changes. Shady business model with this bait and switch pricing.

And they billed us $25 for cancelling the appointment

Mechanic blew off two date-sensitive used car inspections and he and the management staff of this Firm refused even to tell me when the mechanic would arrive. I advise staying far away and not believing the nonsense on their site.

I scheduled an appointment and was sent a request to reschedule within 1 hour. Reschedule for the next day the mechanic never showed or called. CS had to call him only to be given a bullish excuse about his equipment being broken. Okay this was known yesterday and this morning but he never contacted anyone. Bunch lazy aiihhh mechanics waiting on a few bucks! DO NOT BOOK SERVICES!

First dude is supposed to come by on Friday 10am- no call no show, I email and call. Finally get a call back he's had a family er and will send someone else the next day. The next day some guy who looks high on whatever, couldn't keep his hand still or maintain eye contact. Diagnosis's hole in radiator hose- small hole he shows me and tells me easy fix won't be expensive at all. I get the quote and for the 15.00 part online... they are charging $289.99 119 in labor and 118 in parts- Get the F out of here... I literally put some of the automobile tape over the hole while I wait on the 15.00 part. You tube showed this can be done in 5 mins... lo and behold I did it in 3. 17. 99 vs. 289.99... waste of time, energy and horrible service.

On Wednesday a person came out to replace a water pump and thermostat on my 2005 Jeep grand Cherokee. He broke a bolt going to the lower radiator hose where the thermostat is. He went to the hardware store and got a c clamp. He finished the job and nothing leaked. I was not happy with the c clamp as a permanent repair. I called in on Thursday and spoke with Irma. I explained the problem to her. She said she would look into it and call me back. Some time later she called and said she had talked to the warranty department. They agreed it was not a permanent fix. And someone with the warranty department would call me that same day.
On Friday I never got a call from the warranty department so I called in again. I spoke with Mike he said he would look into it and let me know.
Later that day Louis a warranty supervisor called me. He said he had talked to mechanic and he said there was a bolt and a clamp on the bottom hole. They felt that he had done more than he should have done by installing the c clamp. It was not a warranty issue. I said that if I removed the clamp and it leaked would that be an issue he said yes. He felt that I should buy a new timing cover and have them install it. I disagreed.

I removed the clamp found that there was no bolt in the hole like I was told, in fact there was noting but a hole. I called in again talked to Mike again. I told him that when I removed the clamp there was no bolt at all. He talked to Louis who stated that they would send someone out to look at the leak. I never said there was a leak. Mike said that if they felt the leak was not a warranty issue I would be billed an additional 89.99 for coming out.
I told him to forget it and that I would repair it my self.
Don't waist your money on these scams the warranty they promise is not worth anything

Horrendous
June 3, 2019

I had to get a water pump, tensioners timing belt, serpentine belts replaced, transmission fluid flush. One of the serpentine belts were replace and the other one was taken, I called and said no the mechanic said he replaced it all, but the belts says made in Argentina on the top and they were both the same brand, only one had that and the other one was the same old one I had, and you mean to tell me I'm lying? Skip these services and look for a honest shop instead. Also my belt were tighten too much and caused my alternator to fail.

On April 25 2019 a mechanic arrived as soon as he arrived he said he could not fix my door handle he didn't know how and he left with the part I paid 133 dollars for. I called your mechanic customer service and they said he would come back and give me the part. He never showed up i again called your mechanic and I was told he got busy with other customers and would come the next day. The mechanic never showed again so again I was back on hold they contacted him and said he would be at my home some time that day. Around closing I called because he was a no show and then he contacted me and said he would not be able to make it he was busy with other customers and he also said he was going on vacation so he wasn't going to make it until another time. I was upset and called customer service they placed me on hold and said he would bring it another day. Whenever I call to speak to the managers the customer service rep puts me on hold and says a manager will get back to me in 24 hrs one manager finally did and just said check my mailbox and door that he brought the part back. I still have not received the part and my car is also not repaired. Management refused to do anything saying there hands are tied while they are being investigated due to me reporting them to my credit card agency. Warning just go to a reliable mechanic in person unless you want to waste time on hold and be out of 133 And have your car still not repaired. Horrible experience and customer service

I believe I got the worse mechanic ever from this company. He was supposed to show up at 11am didnt show until 5pm. He had his kid in the car so he had no intention of working on my car. Then he said he couldnt fix it today and i needed a different part. Which he never really inspected. Next thing you know $100 is taken from my account for an inspection. I called him back and he said it was a mistake and was only supposed to be $25 but when his supervisor called him he claimed he did alot of inspecting and said the amount was correct. Hes very unprofessional and dishonest. I dont like given my card anyway before services and this is why. His name was Rob so beware of him but if you want my advice just take your car to a shop and wait to pay them when the work is done

Avoid it and better check real auto shops around. These guys may be good in changing oil or other simple tasks but by my own experience this company is a scum. I have ordered diagnostic for $75 and as appeared it was throwing money. My car did not start and I already replaced starter and tried jumpstart. Apparently, the battery was not an issue. The guy (Naperville) came at 10:54 and left at 11:18 with a strange message like "customer replace butt". I wrote him saying that it is not a butt and he said "then I would check the wires". So I said, then check the wires, but he left. I call the office and a guy from (I am not kidding" Smart Department", typical salesman tried convince me to agree for another mechanic for another $75 (!). This called scam and I contacted my credit company already with complain. The service sounds cheap but actually I found several real shops around that are much more reliable and honest.

Avoid it
March 11, 2019

Avoid this company. My car did not start and after trying jump start and replacing starter I figured out that this is NOT a BAT issue and I ordered 1 hour diagnosis test from them for $74.99. They sent me a mechanic who worked on my car for less than 20 min and said it is BAT. He also advised me (!) to check wires! I called to the office and talked to the very stubborn and low level professional Andy (a little smart $#*! boss from Smart Department, no kidding) with complain and he only protected his own $#*! telling that the guy did nothing wrong and refused to refund me money. O, may be it sounds like an anecdote, but he also wanted to send another mechanic and charge me more for the same diagnosis. Now I am calling to my credit company to dispute this case.

Worst company I have ever worked with. They send you 50 emails about your quote. They book your appointment then cancel it for no reason. Their customer service is garbage. They do not read their emails. Their rude call center people won't help you or help you answer mechanics questions.
