Hotel charged us $250 surcharge indicating we smoked in the room. We are NOT smokers and did not smoke in the room. We were not aware of the charge until days after we checked out. I have called the hotel several times and was told we needed to talk to the GM- he never returns my calls and is never there. One of the employees argued with us indicating when we signed in at check in we agreed to the any surcharges with a signature and the housekeeper noted a smoke smell when cleaning the room. This is a mistake I am furious that they are calling us lairs and will not respond and make this right! Have called Wyndham directly and all they do is apologize-we are out an additional $250 and will never stay at any Wyndham hotel or resort ever again and will be consistently posting this to every platform I can.
Tried to deal with Wyndham after a horrible hotel experience. Microtel by Wyndham gives out room keys to whoever they want and lies about it. Police stated they are "very familiar" with that hotel…problematic! Hotel was filthy and manager/staff was incapable of everything. Thought Wyndham would back there name and deal with any issues at their hotels. Apparently they just sell their name to any idiot that wants to poorly run a hotel. No resolution and never bothered to email or call back. I had to reach out again only to get nowhere with a one night refund. Will never stay at another Wyndham hotel and will never book our families and teams there again. Sad!
It is obvious from deteriorated conditions that Wyndham is starving La Quinta of resources for service, maintenance, equipment, etc. Everything is old, set-up or missing entirely.
I am avoiding any hotel with the Wyndham name. Recently got fooled and went to La Quinta Central in St Petersburg, and it confirmed all my reasons to avoid.
Left my swimming suit hanging on a shower stall a week and a half ago at Microtel in Green Bay WI. They closed the next day! I've emailed, called, called again etc and no one, including the so-called customer care number. The woman from India could barely understand me. I bet my suit is STILL hanging in room 122!
My wife booked a hotel room through a third party. She was told that she could have a late checkout. Wyndham would not honor that request. My wife was forced to sit in her car in a parking lot for 4 hours.
The adventure is just starting.
I called to inquire how Wyndham felt about that. It took about 10 phone calls. I was disconnected 3 times. No one ever called back. The final person I talked to said they felt no responsibility to honor that request.
It was such an upsetting experience for my wife and myself, that we will never stay again with Wyndham. They were so rude about the entire experience.
Dirty room, hair in bathtub, mildew on shower curtain, paper coffee cup by coffee maker was dirty, tv was not working, was charged for a room (more $) than the room I was given. Bathroom door had a foot or fist indented into it.
My name is Carmen Suarez and I obtained my membership in Puerto Rico as VIP silver. Last month we were interrupted by representatives from Wyndham sales to show us everything new this year. They asked us if we wanted to upgrade to the VIP gold level and we accepted. What they never told us was that this upgrade was going to be very expensive. Today I realized because my husband and I are buying a house, the loan officer told us that we owed a lot and he mentioned two Wyndham ownerships, two charges of $16,000 dollars each. That upgrade now cost $16,000 thousand dollars. They are abusive and lying people. They deceived us and now they don't want to help us. we also do not qualify for the house. I feel abused and cheated by the Wyndam ownership program, someone needs to do something about it and stop these thieves please.
The absolute filthiest and most disgusting hotel i have ever stayed in, and i travel alot. The room was full of bugs, mold all over the bathroom, non working shower, no cover sheet, etc. so disgusting that i spent the night in my car. When i called to complain and ask for a refund, i was quickly refused and offered
Wyndham points. (Like i would ever set foot in a wyndham hotel again. Stay away!
Stopped at 6pm oct 31 Monday 2016 and handed desk clerk my coupon from I 95 rest area. Smug desk clerk lady told me "No more coupons! All those rooms are taken!" I asked "How many coupon rooms are there?"
She said, "How am I supposed to know that?"
I said, "Because you work here."
"Okay. There's four coupon rooms. When they're gone they're gone!"
As I was leaving a couple was coming in holding the same coupon book as I was.
I stayed at the Wyndham Garden Inn in Romulus in Romulus MI 21-24 Sept. This place is way below Wyndham standers, I made a complaint and of course I got what I expected from the just lip serve from the General Manager. Not surprised one bit. I will never say at a Wyndham again.
Owner stay away at all cost. Been an owner for years constantly changing contract lingo. Constantly changing and charging more for less. Do yourself a favor and move on to AirBnB. Your free of all the BS...
Make sure you understand it before you do it. Not all hotels are available. In fact none would be close to accurate for any where on the west coast. Phone service is terrible. You'll be waiting a long time and then probably get redirected about 4 times before you might have some one that can help you. They don't refund purchased points. Don't believe it if they say they do. They won't for me. And if you buy points, make sure you plan that they won't be deposited in your account until it clears your bank, so your anticipated hotel may be reserved by then. That happened to me.
I traveled often during my career which meant many hotel stays. Wyndham used to be a name synonymous with quality. They were right up there with Hilton. I'm sad to say that my stay at the Days Inn in Kingsport Tennessee this past weekend changed my mind about the pedestal I have had them on for so many years.
Booked a disabled room for my husband, my son(in wheelchair) and myself. Smelled like weed when we walked in. Cop out front playing on phone in lobby. Shower chair was falling out of the wall so my son couldn't even take a shower. Mold on shower chair cushion. Fridge pouring water out of bottom. Just nasty
I have been a customer many times over the years. I want to share with you my experience on August 7th and 8th at your La Quinta property in Ventura California located at 5818 Valentine road. I found the property to be in dire need of heavy maintenance and cleaning. Walkways and railings were dirty and deteriorating; Obscenities were spray painted on the main entrance sign; Only the first floor ice machine was operational. The second and third floor machines were not; Broken air conditioners; Vandalism inside elevator; Very loud water hammer problem in the toilet plumbing; Bathroom mirror needs replacing.
I have to say I was very disappointed in the overall condition of this hotel. See attached photos.
Despite great claims for their green policies, not one of the Days, La Quinta, Super 8 Inns we stayed in on this cross country trip had a recycling bin. We usually took our recyclables with us. Come on, guys! This is a bare minimum commitment to a better future.
Call into hotel sent me over to 3rd party booking, more expensive! The hotel said they would correct price but did not, a $80 increase for one night. Called Wyndham several times always transferred to different departments and disconnected me. Last time Wyndham.
Beware of Wyndham Days Inn motel in Amarillo, Texas (medical center location). They will steal money from your credit or debit card. They stole $50.oo from me and will not refund it. I showed them my bank statement and still don't want to repay me. This proves they are crooks... for they have the solid proof from my bank ledger they over charged me by $50.oo. They are scammers! Only use cash so they will not keep slamming your card. Do NOT give them any CC #. Also beware of the broken stair cases which have yellow crime scene tape raped around them. Also the walls are thin... you an hear not only your neighbor... but your neighbors bathroom fan. Plus the loud AC units on wall under front window are very loud! All these noise sources make sleeping impossible. I had to put 3 pillows on top of my head... but I could still not make it quiet enough to have a sound sleep. Avoid this hotel like the plague!
The web site has photos of beautifully remodeled rooms. Not so. This place is so disgusting we checked in and out within hours. The room had spiders and roaches, holes in the walls, mold in the bathroom, rusted out air conditioners with filters clogged, particle board furniture from the 1980's that was broken and stained. The broken exterior door locks allowed all kinds of non paying people to roam freely. When I filed a complaint with Wyndham Corporate the response was not our problem, this is an independent franchise.
I booked a stay in Jersey and was mistakenly booked into a HoJo in New Mexico! Their fault, not mine. I cancelled right away but was refused a refund!
They billed my credit card for $419.00 and are going to try and keep it
The site manager, Gilda, is pathetic and could NOT care less about fixing this problem. So far, apparently, neither does Wyndham!
Beware and stay elsewhere.
Answer: A little of both... Beware. Only use cash... NEVER give them your credit card or debit card! They stole $50.oo dollars from me... and I proved it... but they don't care and they won't give it back. Other problems too... like broken stair cases with yellow crime tape wrapped about them. Don't go there!
Answer: No sure what this question means and who is asking is this what Wyndham thinks of us?
Answer: A member and believed they would back us up but guess we were wrong
Answer: Customer Service! Non existing... They literally just don't care
