The quality of Postmates' customer service has officially gone down hill, making it insane for me to use over cheaper and more diverse options at this point.
After I placed an order for Rubio's, I deleted an order on October 13,2024. I was only partially credited the order according to my bank records. I was still showing an $6.37 for the delivery & tax they charge. I contacted the company on the morning of 10/16/24, because that is when I showed being partially credited on my bank account. I then contacted POSTMATES to get a FULL REFUND because I was only credited $18.46 instead of the FULL AMOUNT WHICH WAS $24.83. POSTMATES told me because it was more than 2 days after the order THEY COULD NOT ISSUE ME a REFUND. What THEIFS. So I was charged $6.37 for an order that I CANCELLED & NEVER GOT. Everyone BEWARE of POSTMATES SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!
I ordered via Postmates and spend exactly $16.93 they kept changing the time and then my food was very cold. After requesting 2 managers nothing as resolved. I would not recommend at allllll
Waited an hour before canceling my order without explanation all the while showing me a graphic that says Tyrone has my order and is heading my way. Total $#*!ing $#*!s!
I spent a lot of money with Postmates, but after about a year, 2 different credit cards got stolen. My card were used in 2 different states, within 90 days. I had to cancel those cards. Once I quit using Postmates the credit card fraud stopped. They are thieves. Stay away from them.
Stay away! First, they fail to deliver and there is no "oops, I'm sorry". Next they refund you your food charges, but somehow your tip is not part of it. I left $15 tip on my order and that was problem since they had no way of getting it back from the guy who failed to deliver.
Postmates is horrible. I placed an order today like I do a couple times a week. Today, I didn't receive my order and Uber eats refused to refund my money. Uber eats asked me had I gone around to neighbors looking for my food. I placed the order at night and I don't know my neighbors because I've been in my house less than a year. It was a stupid idea to suggest. I will never use Postmates/ Uber eats again. The customer service rep said that Uber eats doesn't reimburse patrons who don't receive their orders..
I don't usually use delivery services but thought I would try. I ordered for delivery and food tracker showed food was ready. After 20 mins I called the restaurant and was told that it was ordered for pick up by me. I paid almost $10 extra thru them so I could pick it up? I tried to call Postmates but the phone number didn't work. After tracking down a working number, I was transferred 9 separate times and no one could find my order because even though I had to enter all my info, Post mates did not put my phone number or last name on the order.Good news is,Customer service was very nice as they continued to pass me around. After an hour and a half on the phone, I was told the matter would have to be escalated by email and someone would get back to me. I won't hold my breath!
My teen daughter placed an order in error. We canceled it within 10 seconds. They refuse to refund. They said my account is ineligible for refunds.
Come on. 52 dollars for a 27 dollar order from sonic. Give me a break. I tried to get it cancelled right away and they told me it would cost the same amount as the order to cancel it!
Postmates AKA Uber Eats sucks balls... they lie about their delivery times and they keep extending it and extending it and they add extra onto the actual cost of what the food is stay away
I will NEVR use Postmates again. They didn't bother to ask where I wanted my order sent. They just randomly tossed in some arbitrary address that I've never heard of and by the time I realized I hadn't filled out an address, the order was already placed. When I went back in to try to change the address, it told me I was out of range and would have to cancel. Ok, so I canceled, thinking I would just start again. They charged me $22 to cancel on a $30 order. This is all within, like, a single minute of having ordered, mind you. I get the problem of the order getting started and needing to be covered, but there is no way, they had time to have already started, let alone finish the order.
Did I get to hit a button to say "Hold up, pause this, while I figure things out?" No. Did I get any kind of confirmation screen to say "Is this the address you want?" No. Did I get the option to pay more for a longer transit or move the order over to another location? Nope, just give me the choice between never getting my food as it gets delivered to some random address I know nothing about, or total cancelation with the most extreme cancelation fee I've ever heard of in my life. Of course I chose cancelation so that at least I wouldn't be wasting quite as much money to never get my order.
Will I ever be giving this company even a shred of my business again? That's a big fat. NO.

Not only did they charge me full price and not honor their advertisement which is false advertising. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR IT WITHOUT DELIVERING IT. The only way to contact customer service is by trying to cancel your order. THEY NEED REPORTED TO BBB
I ordered online from a menu i thought was from a restaurant and was overcharged over $50 from what the restaurant charges even though I picked up the order myself! I will never use this company or Uber Eats ever again. If the restaurant doesn't have a menu on their website call them directly! Don't pay for absolutely no service!
Postmates is always cancelling orders and then not reassigning them which makes no sense. I end up hungry!
Someone else's order was delivered to me instead of mine (photos show I received Bonchon yet I ordered Hawkers), yet they refuse to refund even though I have proof via my photos as well as the photo that their own (Uber) driver provided when leaving the food, showing the name of the restaurant and I have the receipt photo showing the other customer's name. They say because I had "significant" refunds. Those "significant" refunds were for my previous TWO orders which had to be refunded because of their or the restaurant's mess up, in all my history between Uber and Postmates. Those orders deserved a refund, and this one most certainly does since I never received my food that I ordered and have UNDENIABLE proof I received the wrong order. It isn't even a refund to my bank account I'm asking for. I'm asking for the credit I had on my account back that I used since the last time they messed up. I will be reviewing this (under Postmates and Uber Eats) on every site, contacting their legal team, and my own lawyer, since as I told them - I don't care if it was a small amount - I believe in consumer protections and they are committing fraud by using some hack refund/community policy and not rightfully refunding customers who show proof they are owed a refund.
I ordered through the web using Postmates as the delivery service. I gave easy to follow instructions guiding them to my apartment on the second floor. The delivery driver didn't even attempt to approach my door, and simply left the order in the lobby on a bench.
When I contacted Postmates' customer service, less than 10 minutes after the delivery, I reported it, and requested them to reduce the tip amount (I thought that would be sufficient).
They emailed me 20 minutes later, and said "thank you for the feedback".
When I responded, and told them it wasn't just for feedback, that I wanted to reduce the tip, it took another 20 minutes for them to get back to me, and they said I had up to an hour after delivery to change the tip.
I said okay, go ahead and change the tip since it's still within an hour, and in another 20 minutes I received a response that basically said, "now it's not, sorry".
Terrible customer service, terrible delivery service, and I'll make sure never to use them again.
I didn't know Postmates was bought by Ubereats. Realized after my order was all screwed up. Ubereats wouldn't refund me $62 last week. I decided to try Postmates this time. This time False menu advertisement saying buy one get one free. When I picked up my food that wasn't the case. I've been trying to get a hold of a representative for 30 mins and the phone line is always busy. Never Again!
Unfortunately, my experience with Postmates has been a major disappointment. The website is confusing, making it hard to place an order, and the delivery service is highly unreliable. My orders have been late more than once, which meant I was left waiting for dinner on a busy evening. Worse still, when the food finally did arrive, it was cold and unappetizing. Needless to say, I won't be using their service again.
Answer: I got charged twice instead of once. For my delivery now that they made a mistake and didn't take care of it I'll never use postmate ever again
Answer: They Don't answer you back until after 5 days so that they can say "Unfortunately we will not give you your money back because we only issues refunds if the claim is made in a timely manner" horrible company
Answer: Their app has all type of glitches and issues they did the very same to me I didn't even sign up for their free trial but I am now having to dispute a charge of 95.88 on my account. I was charged for orders I never got and also I reached out to them multiple times never got anything back. They actually put on the app that the order was resolved when I have never spoken to them this company is a fraud and I do not know why they are still in business! I'd say remove your card information.
