I ordered through the web using Postmates as the delivery service. I gave easy to follow instructions guiding them to my apartment on the second floor. The delivery driver didn't even attempt to approach my door, and simply left the order in the lobby on a bench.
When I contacted Postmates' customer service, less than 10 minutes after the delivery, I reported it, and requested them to reduce the tip amount (I thought that would be sufficient).
They emailed me 20 minutes later, and said "thank you for the feedback".
When I responded, and told them it wasn't just for feedback, that I wanted to reduce the tip, it took another 20 minutes for them to get back to me, and they said I had up to an hour after delivery to change the tip.
I said okay, go ahead and change the tip since it's still within an hour, and in another 20 minutes I received a response that basically said, "now it's not, sorry".
Terrible customer service, terrible delivery service, and I'll make sure never to use them again.
