Ordered a rear halfshaft for a 1969 corvette. Got a full driveshaft. Attempt to return it. Redirected to some obscure website where I am required to open an account and furnish some personal info. I am requested to supply information such as pictures, order number and part numbers, etc. I comply only to receive requests for more pictures of the shipping box, and more. I comply only to receive more requests for trivial information. I realize they have no intention to issue a return shipping label, so I initiate a chargeback with my credit card company (Discover). To my surprise, they rule for Corvette Mods stating that the charge appears genuine, and washing their hands off the whole affair. So much for consumer protection, specially since receiving an incorrect item is a genuine reason to request a chargeback. In the mean time, Corvette Mods issues countless threats, from referrals to collection agencies to issuance of negative credit input. In the end, I decided to give up and eat my loss after selling the shaft for less than half what I paid. Later I found they are only a middle man order house that simply place the order with their suppliers and do nothing else. What a difference from a stocking distributor that includes a return shipping label in case the consumer is dissatisfied with the product.!
Pay the extra bucks and STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.!

So its my own fault, I get a vette do no research, search in google for a place that sells some stuff to mod my vette, no research on forums. Corvette mods sells garbage and wont stand behind their products. They also operate under mod gen autos on ebay, avoid at all costs i wasted over $100. You'll see how bad they are on any forum, people using buy from them once and never again. So you'll get your item and shipping is ok not super slow ill give them them. Example 1: i ordered a C5 steering wheel 3d printed sticker emblem for $30 plus shipping, what i got was a flat sticker that looks like its about $2 and made on someone's home computer, too embarrassing to put it on, pure garbage. Example 2: i bought 2 vent grils for my fender vents, was supposed to be nice powered coated metal in black, what i got was rattle canned chicken wire, like backyard made stuff. Another thing i wasted over 70 bucks on. GARBAGE im sure their operating under another name by now, just becareful. Possibly corvette mods LTD under top flight automotive or on ebay. They had to have been sued. Avoid. Go on the forums find a good place to order from. Corvettemods is also operating under Modern Gen Auto on e-bay and their feedback there sucks just as bad.

Do Not Order anything from this company. I ordered two folding C-5 chairs. It took two months to receive the product and they only sent one chair. I submitted a dispute and did not receive my money back for the missing chair. The chair we received is extremely poor quality. Buyer beware.

I placed an order 4 days ago, the product was in stock. So after the 4 day of still being in process I got on a chat with Tyler. I told them my problem and that I wanted an update for shipping. Tyler have me a phone to call and told me to leave a message. I replied you can't help me with this and Tyler discounted our chat. So very RUDE! I called the number and a man answered and ask what I was looking for. I told him the same story. He said he couldn't help me to call this number and leave a message. So when you are taking my mo ey you can talk and chat but for help after the sale. I have to leave a message and wait? What customers service! He would not help and said I'll transfer you to leave a message if you want help! Then he discounted me. This place is TROUBLE! There are a lot of places I can give my money to and I guarantee it will not be you even if you are the last corvette place in America! I will go buy a McClaren first!

I ordered a Corvette C8 truck mat. After a week still not shipped. I tried to cancel because it was going to be another week. 50% to cancel and restock. Order from anyone else.

Tried to order left side marker light part # 9639 the price shows 56.99 I went below to the year/side selection and chose 1970-1974 the price shows 39.99 when I add it to my cart the price jumps to 96.98 for no reason. Don't bother calling customer service you will be on hold forever and then the just end the call? And don't try E-mailing customer service they don't answer this either.

They sent me two of the same pillar seals instead of R &L. Would not accept return or send the missing one. It was their mistake and they would not fix it. They do not answer phones or call back. That says alot right there. Dont do business with Corvette mods you will be sorry. Now I will dispute the charge for wrong item.

Multiple calls & message's left & e-mails sent with no response about parts ordered & paid for that never were delivered as was told they were in stock!

I just purchased Parking/turn signal enclosures with LED Switchback lights and resistors. All went well until I saw that these were NOT switchback LED's. They are simple 2 element lights. Therefor when the DRL's are on and then use the turn signals are barely visible. I went to a very reputable Corvette dealer close by and they reassured me these are NOT switchback's. I was charged $119.99 for what is a simple 2 element light. For $34.00 locally i purchased switchbacks and all works perfect now. I have tried to contact Corvette Mods but, no luck yet. I may have to make trip to their business to resolve this.

I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS! I RECENTLY ORDERED OVER $2K WORTH OF EXHAUST AND ACCIDENTLY ORDERED 1 PART BUY MISTAKE. WHILE DOING MORE RESEARCH I FOUND THE SAME EXHAUST FOR A FEW HUNDRED CHEAPER FROM ANOTHER SITE SO I ORDERED FROM THEM INSTEAD. IN THE MEAN TIME TRYING TO CANCEL MY ORDER WITH CORVETTEMODS ( THIS ALL TOOK PLACE WITHIN A 24 HR WINDOW) FINALLY AFTER NEARLY A DOZEN PHONE CALLS AND SEVERAL EMAILS I WAS ABLE TO STOP THEM FROM SENDING IT OUT. THE REASON FOR THIS REVIEW AND WHY IM SO UPSET IS THAT THEY CHARGED ME A $100 RESTOCK FEE FOR SOMETHING THAT PROBABLY NEVER EVEN LEFT THIER SHELVES. BUYER BEWARE. THESE HICKS ARE SCAMMERS.

If you have a problem with your order the only way to contact the company is by email. I don't think the people responding speak English since they had a terrible time understanding me. I had two orders, one with two items in it and they could not understand that I had not received the second item. I had an additional order for a very expensive carbon fiber license plate holder. I sent an email asking where it was after two weeks and I got a very rude email back saying they would cancel the order which is not what I was requesting. Do NOT do business with them. If you have a problem with an order you are basically on your own with very slow email responses. The people on the other end do not understand English at all.

So first I ordered a rear decklid panel for my 1lt c8, but I when I realized that I ordered the wrong item, I emailed them and left a voice mail right away. They said it will cancel for me. They charged me 399$ and refunded me 379$ something they I canceled like 5 minutes after? What kind of company does that? And then before this happened, I orderer a front splitter for 350$ from them. It came defective and the material was so cheap that it feels like I bought it from the 99c store. I asked for a refund stating its defective and they gave me RMA to return it back. I understand I have to pay shipping back which it was over 80$. But now after they received my return, they charged me for restock and shipping fee? WTF! And I'm thinking to my self... how this company still alive with all these negatives reviews from yelp and bbb? I guess they make more money if you cancel or return any item than selling... I learned my lesson here. Bought a nice a 23 c8 and I will not be cheap again. Bought 5vm splitter kit from ACS COMPOSITE... its a little pricier but my goodness! Looks way better than oem and fits super perfect. Don't get raped like me... you will regret. I will guarantee. *** THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! ***

Bought a new top and today saw that its cracked, material defect and they aren't honoring 2-year warranty

Customer Service is THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIANCED

They simply do not fit, I cant close the doors after the install, rubber is to thick on the ends. Buy at your own risk.

Ordered $500+ worth of parts on their website. Corresponding website part numbers do not match packing slip supplied. Ordered 2 of one item and only received one. One item on order was shipped or showed on packing slip. Received an item I didn't even order! Contacted them by email and got no response. Second and third emails, I told them I would dispute charges with credit card company on items I did not receive. I then got an email from them accusing me of cyber theft and they would prosecute to fullest extent of the law. Basically a horrible company to deal with.

If I could have given them a (-5) I would have. When you are buying parts for a high end C8 you expect the company selling the parts to have high end parts. Not peal and stick lights. I spent over $400 and got something I wouldn't put on my kitchen cabinets. I would never put them on a high end car. They do not carry a quality product and they do not stand by there product. They make it impossible to talk to a manager when you have a problem or even get the name of a manager. They are unwilling to take a return that has never even been out of the box. I will never buy from them again. Worst experience with an on line retailer ever.

I ordered an engine bay lighting kit for my C8 Corvette. Shipment was slow, but box eventually arrived and appeared undamaged. After opening the kit I quickly realized the poor quality of this product, but figured I would give it a shot anyway. I placed 3-AA batteries into the kit and it wouldn't turn on... thought maybe my batteries were bad. Went to the store and bought additional brand new batteries, this LED light kit still wouldn't turn on. Right away I contacted who I thought to be customer support at Corvettemods.com, waited a week and never heard back. I emailed them again requesting a reply. The representative very rudely replied that I would've heard back from them had I emailed the correct department. My mistake, so I asked them to point me in the right direction, but of course, never heard back. I went on their website (also very poorly done website but that is beside the point) and found the return department and sent them a request. Corvettemods would not stand behind their inoperable and crappy product, wouldn't offer a refund or a replacement. This company is a joke, buyer beware, use extreme caution! I wish I would have looked up reviews prior to purchasing because as soon as I saw their 2 out of 5 star rating, I would have purchased elsewhere instead of essentially throwing $90 out the window.

The waiting for CS to answer is between 30-70 mins, then when answered there is a guys who has no idea of what's going on on the phone. I placed an order on Friday morning expecting to receive by today — WRONG! Today, I get an email telling me to check my bank account because they sent me a dollar and the want me to verify it.

I'm thinking I will get my product today and not that is far from a reality. I called their so-called customer service line and was on hold for 65mins before someone answered, probably Neal the owner.

Do business elsewhere, do not waste your time with these idiots.

I ordered lower rear skirt winglets in hydro carbon fiber, Corvette Mods sent me fake plastic pieces that looks like they are from China! They told me it would take 8 weeks to come in because they were making it. However, it seemed that they were waiting on it to ship from China (my opinion). I asked for a refund and to returned the items, they said this is what you ordered, so no return. This is bad business and they know most customers have no idea what hydro carbon fiber means. Well it mean cheap plastic from China?! I will never ever buy from Corvettemods again.
