I love their 100% silk longjohns! They're excellent to keep me warm while I work out in the pasture in the winter. The bottoms are cut weird so that the waistband dips down in the back instead of reaching my waist, but I don't care. It doesn't keep them from working.:) So far everything I've bought from Winter Silks has been high quality. Unfortunately I didn't keep my receipt, so I don't know if this will show up or not.

Once you click the button there is no way to stop the order. None. It happened to me after I realized I had ordered the wrong color, and when I immediately called them on the phone I got a message saying that my order had already been shipped, in what, like 5 minutes? There was no way for me to deal with these people. Don't order from them. They are scammers. And by the way, the famous Wintersilk long johns and T shirts shrink making them unwearable. They crawl up to your calves and knees!

Once you click the button there is no way to stop the order. None. There was no way for me to deal with these people. Don't order from them. They are scammers. And by the way, the famous Wintersilk long johns and T shirts shrink making them unwearable. They crawl up to your calves and knees!

I ordered a product, waited 3 weeks for the product, it was the wrong size, a large was really extra extra large, exchanged the product the next day, then waited another 3 weeks, no product. I was charged, but no exchange, no refund, no response from an email request. When I called customer service, I was told the product was in the mail, but they didn't have a tracking number, because they lied. It wasn't mailed, I canceled my order. I expect a refund in 3 weeks, if ever.

I am very disappointed in the quality of the winter silk men's underwear. I have six or seven pair and with two of them the elastic waistband separated from the underwear. This was after maybe nine months use. At $19 a pair it should last a lot longer. My Jockey briefs which cost $20 for a bag of four last forever. I was hoping to become a long-term customer but it seems impossible now. Very disappointing. Spend the extra bucks for Tommy Johns. More expensive but unlike Wintersilks, it's totally worth it.

I received a $50 gift card for Christmas. Immediately ordered long johns and had to pay an additional $7 for shipping. Too small. Sent them back for a larger size which were out of stock. Customer Service was terrible and gave me incorrect info. They sent me a replacement gift card in the snail mail for $5. So, now I am out $7 for additional shipping and $5 off on my gift card. I'm down $12 and have nothing. This company really stinks. They used to be great when they were owned by Venus Swimwear but they are now owned by Blair. Believe all the reviews and shop ANYWHERE ELSE.

Do not purchase, company pricing policy very bad. Purchased items and discount coupon of 30% off and free shipping sent via email 10 days later, on same day I received items in mail. Called and they wouldn't adjust for discount and even worse, told me to return items on my own shipping costs. Then proceeded to tell me that other companies do not pay for return shipping! I'm a repeat customer and have decided to not purchase from them anymore.

Via email, was asked to write a review. I wrote a somewhat negative review, which they wouldn't allow me to post because I hadn't indicated quality. Tried 5 times to indicate quality. Problems: (1) shape changes after washing "washable tops". Scoop neck becomes huge. Top becomes wide and short. (2) Not silky. After washing it is stiff and not soft until warn several times. Tried calling customer service on a Saturday. Only open Monday - Friday.

I ordered a silk funnel neck top and had to argue with the sales rep to give me the sale price (I had the catalog in my hand). It shipped on July 11 via DHL/USPS and was returned to sender (no reason given). When I called to discuss the non-delivery on July 25 the "computer was down" (REALLY?) - call back after 2PM. I did and was told that the item had been returned but they didn't have it yet. Would reship. No apologies.

Shipping costs on recent order totaled 15+% ($19.99 on a $127.98 order). Return shipping with their label $9.99. Now one $32, Chinese made, tee cost $60! It is labeled as silk & cotton, but very thin. I've been a customer from the beginning, and was drawn by their initial natural fibers; but now with less of these offerings and large shipping costs, I've placed my last order.

Horrible customer service! Bottom line: I ordered an item from them, wore it once, and after I washed and dried it, the thing shrunk at least one size smaller. All I asked is that they exchange it for a larger one so that it would fit when THAT one shrinks but they wouldn't even meet me halfway AND their manager Mrs. Nelson was rude about it as well, stating "Well how could you NOT know that 100% silk cotton is going to shrink?" Do NOT give these criminals your money.

Both, my husband and I have each ordered separately a silk pant several years ago.
The ladies pants have a huge pocket for a very large belly and very short legs that end just below the knees. The gents pants are similarly miss-cut and are far too thin to be of any use during cold weather. So you might conclude we are not happy customers - right!
Ever since we ordered something we get a catalogue each far too often.
I wanted to unsubscribe my husband's catalogue today and they did not allow me to cancel my husbands catalogue - yes, you heard right my husband would have to call them himself to cancel something we never requested and only serves to fill up our trash can. I insisted that we did not like their product and they asked the boss if that was a reason to cancel, but - no - no cancellation accepted! I asked them if they really think that after this experience we would like to buy anything in the future they said no, no cancellation!
So they seem to like angry customers because those are probably all that's left for them.
Might their soals find peace:-)

I tried to order some things for my child w a disability and when the company made an error they would not change it without speaking to my child with a disability, to whom the order was being shipped. When I said that I was the guardian and the child could not talk to them, they continued in their rigid fashion. I will NEVER deal with them again and consider them out of touch with the world.

Always a delay/issue with winter silks. I like their products so I ordered from the again. On back order as always.
I cancelled the back order. (Hey winter is now over) Items arrived anyhow. Contacted customer service. No one replied. I returned unwanted items. They refuse to credit me for the return of the items I had cancelled. Not their policy

I am about to send back the second night gown which I bought -- thinking the first several years ago was a fluke. I bought this one about a year ago and after 3 washings (I did not wear it till recently) the fabric began to disintegrate and holes appeared. Now a big rip opened up. A blouse that I bought a few months ago was so shoddy that I sent it back. As a very long time customer, I am appalled at the quality decline.

I received a pair of pajamas for Christmas from Winter Silks. My husband placed the order on 10-21. They shrunk a lot despite the fact that I followed the label instructions for laundering. So I returned them as defective and requested a refund. I called WS in advance to ask about making a return, since I no longer had any original packaging before mailing them back. They received the package on 2/5. When I had not received any refund in a reasonable time frame, I called and was told that they could not speak with me because I was not the account owner, despite the fact that it was a Christmas gift. Because of their hours of operation, it was not possible to have my husband call them, so we communicated in writing. When even more time elapsed without a refund, and I tried following up a second time over the phone, I was once again told they could not speak with me. I asked for a supervisor and got Ms."Eliason." She looked into it for me and told me that we would not be receiving a refund because it was after the 60 days return policy. I reminded her that it was a Christmas gift, which I had clearly indicated on the return package. She said it didn't matter. I pointed out that, because my husband shopped a little early, it would have been impossible to return it within 60 days, and that most companies extended their return policies to be at least 60 days after Christmas. She said that any purchases made from November 1 through Christmas had a 90 day return policy. So I asked for her to extend that courtesy to me, since my husband shopped a little early, and she refused. I asked her for the name of someone who could make an exception, and she told me that no one would do that. Upon request, she gave me the name and address of the president, Chris Wilson, if I wanted to write to him. (From her negative attitude, this recourse sounded like it would be an exercise in futility.) She said they sent gift cards for store credit, but I have not received anything at all. Now I am stuck buying something to replace my pajamas from WS. I don't want to be a customer of a store with such inflexible policies, and whose merchandise shrinks, but I have no other options. Please be warned before you shop at this company's website. We will never purchase anything from WS again.

I placed an order round 12/17 (plenty of time to arrive by Christmas) and never got a shipping notification. When I emailed customer service on 12/20, they told me it was backordered until MARCH. Seriously? A 3 month backorder in this day and age? Clearly this business has terrible leadership. Also, why not state "out of stock" on the website - or at least let me know within a reasonable timeframe after I place the order?! Now, I have to pay for expedited shipping on a similar item from a reputable retailer... should have just done that in the first place :(

I purchased clothes from Wintersilk. The sizing was bad. I sent the items back and I had to use their return label, which cost $10 because I couldn't figure out where to return. When I called to complain, I was told the address was on the slip in very small print. A TERRIBLE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. STAY AWAY.

I received an order confirmation and then waited over two weeks heard nothing so I called and they told me my order had been cancelled, nice customer service guys yes why are you in business.

I received a pair of silk sock liners as a Christmas present. Less than a month later the heel of one of them already has a hole in it. In my defense, I keep my heels smooth, never wore them by themselves and laundered them according to manufacturers recommendations.
Not Happy.
I live in a part of the country where it's important to keep your feet warm in the wintertime and I hoped that these would last for at least the season.

I placed a one time order. The product I received was very disappointing as it did not feel like silk. I then discovered three months later that I was being charged $14.97 per month for that period of time. Upon checking reviews on line I learned that this is a common problem for WinterSilk customers as they have a "cute" way of having one sign up for their membership at checkout. BEWARE!

I order from WinterSilks occasionally. Today saw that they are offering $5.99 flat shipping on any order. Proceeded to make my choices and was then offered at 20% discount if I would provide my email address. I did. At end of order shipping was charged at $17.99. I called "customer service" and was told that I could only have one promotion. The offer of flat shipping cost should stand, but they refused. This is misleading and seriously offensive.
The few articles I ordered would cost less than $5.00 to mail anywhere in the US.
Their HIGH shipping costs are the main reason I seldom order from WinterSilks. Terrible image to give to the consumers. From what I have read and learned their customer service is the least favorable thing they offer.

I work for a woman who is blind. I purchased products from this company before (yes they are not like silk but the warmest long underwear is not itchy so I kept ordering from them). I talked my client into purchasing this product online. After our purchase, I saw that the apartment number was wrong (their mistake). I called them when I got home. I had her information. The customer support woman said the purchaser would have to call and cannot make the change without her. I told her it was for a woman who is disabled and does not use the phone After 25 minutes arguing with her I asked to speak with a supervisor which she finally did. The supervisor came on and told me the exact same thing. He cannot make such a simple change to the address. I got angrier as he said the work around would be for the purchase to send BY MAIL the corrected address. I said are you kidding? She's blind! He didn't care but said it was policy. And the product would be on hold until they received the letter! It was then when I lost it with him telling him I will NEVER buy from them again. I said you take down this correct address information and we can be finished with this conversation. He did and had the nerve to ask me if I needed anything else! I hung up! How can we make this company accountable for the disabled since they actually do sell mainly to people of a certain age. How dare they!

What happened to the quality of WinterSilks? I have a wonderful 100% silk turtleneck made for them by. The White Pine Company in the 80's, and others of slightly lesser quality purchased from them more recently. Couldn't find this standard product #RN ******* today. Customer Service was less than helpful..."100% silk probably too expensive... never seen anything like it since I have been here." The company name continues to be WintérSILKS. If silk is too expensive, change the name. Signed, Disgusted

Last fall, I ordered some long underwear and a sweater for a one-time business trip to Minnesota in winter. Somehow, I ended up in the WinterSilks VIP Program and got charged $14.97 every month! By the time I caught it, several months had passed, and I called to complain. I was told it would be cancelled, but lo and behold, it appeared again on my credit card this month. I have cancelled that card... I will never buy from this company again. Beware the VIP Program when you order from this company.

Was mislead by the name "Wintersilks." I have fibro and was looking for something soft to lay against my skin. The fabric cuts into my skin like nylon--cheap nylon. With shipping, I wasted $120 for 4 underpants on misleading description about how soft these panties are.

My wife and I bought several clothing items from wintersilks. From turtleneck sweaters to robes to underwear. Nothing lasts. It all wears out quickly. The quality is very poor. I would avoid buying anything from this seller.
